PoliticsRe: Why Peter Obi Needs To Associate More Towards North/muslims by duality(m): 5:54am On Jul 31, 2022
SadiqBabaSani:
Before ObiDatti people Attack me, let them check my antecedents on Nairaland.

Peter Obi and Datti especially Obi need to identify a bit more with the North/Muslims.

His Campaign and his beliefs need to be a bit more Pro northern Masses.

Seen him in Churches not bad,I want to see him in Mosques and with more Northerner too.
Campaign hasn't started. He will almost always be in the north.

Femifasola:
This won't be happening if Tinubu didn't remain stubborn to choose a Muslim from the North. I thought he knew politics. Same people he wants to entice will leave him for Atiku who's even a northerner just like them.
That's not totally it. There has always been a conspiracy to keep power in the north. You think we don't know what Tambuwal did and how it happened?

Even drafting Ahmed Lawan in the last minutes? The MM ticket was Tinubu falling for them, just for peace and support.

The way out, is LABOUR PARTY.

Northerners moving to PDP is not in the best interest of Nigerian. North shouldn't succeed North.

Even in Lagos there are millions of people that dont know LP or Peter Obi talk more their logo.

Really? So where is NNPP well known.

I'm voting LP. who are you voting for.

PoliticsRe: Abdullahi Sule: 2023 Is Between PDP & APC; LP/NNPP Don't Have National Spread by duality(m): 3:06pm On Jul 26, 2022
Those starts are dependent on rigging. Remove rigging and that start is no where.

A situation were you have politicians who would write or exchange results at collation centers.

Remove that , remove vote buying and both APC and PDP are handicapped.

This is the fact.

Okealaaye:
Obi is going nowhere! I watched him on Channels Television a moment ago. He sounded much like a transistor radio with dying batteries or if you like, like an overused locomotive train whistle. Nothing presidential about him. Time yet to find an acceptable option. Obi's personality is below PAR. Only fools will call that lowlife president. Maybe in Afghaneastern, you never can tell.
If not Obi then who?

You're not even bold to state the alternative to Obi, yet you can type empty rants up and down.

You'll soon have your moment of clarity.

PoliticsRe: Reasons Why Peter Obi Presidency Will Be A Total Failure by duality(m): 1:18pm On Jul 25, 2022
nikky5:
I don't understand why many people see Peter Obi as a saviour for our country. Many of them cannot tell you the reasons why they are supporting his Presidential bid. It is very correct that he is educated more than his fellow competitors for the same office, but his presidency will be a disaster.

It's rather unfortunate that Nigeria operates a bicameral legislation. That alone will be his albatross. How can he perform creditably well when he has a very few members of his party in the Legislative and hallowed Chambers? How will he accent to bills voted by the majority from the opposition that may run contrary to his position? How many state governors are members of his party. This man will fail woefully. His failure at the centre will usher in another four years of torture and servitude.

Nigerians must shine their eyes. Labour party cannot be at the centre while his few minority in the Senate and House of Representatives will be mere puppets. Labour party is an unpopular party with a very inexperienced presidential candidate.

Please I am begging you not to waste that vote. Only the progressives will agree with me. The internet OBIdients may not see it in this light.

As for me, I would rather not vote, than to vote for a man who has no party structure.
Please for goodnesses sake STOP THIS CRAP!!

We are not voting looters or a proxy president, With stupid structure.

What's the structure of the economy as at today.

Please get your priorities right!

This is very sad embarassed.

Coming from an elderly man is particularly unfortunate.
Is this not the same elderly man who begged President Buhari to release the ipob terrorist group leader to him? Little wonder he almost misled PMB. Now he is using foul words on Nigeria and Nigerians just because they want to elect the best pair. smh.

This is the politics of hate, threats and bigotry used by HE Obi promoters. They will lose again like they lost in 2015 &2019 when they were all over the place preaching hate and bigotry against President Bubari.

Nigerians will elect Asiwaju Tinubu because he is the best among all the aspirants.

I will take us back to use the public records of service to campaign.

Read Tinubunomics: Dissecting Tinubu’s economic track records https://www.nairaland.com/7222062/tinubunomics-dissecting-tinubus-economic-track and know why Asiwaju Tinubu is the most brilliant and most competent among all the Presidential candidates.

That the naysayers, bigots, terrorists, obi supporters are using hate, threats, insults and bigotry instead of campaigning based on record of performance of HE Obi is simply because they know they do not have the number and have already lost the election.

Ignore them and vote for the best man for the job.Vote Asiwaju Tinubu.

Bloody bigot. TINUBU hasn't told anybody convincingly and in clare terms, he's economic plans.

Stop running up and down for him.

Besides he's first decision of choosing a running mate was a terrible one. This shows the kind of government he wants to run.

Go sidon with you Tinubu presidency. majority of Nigerians won't vote for him. Besides he wants to rig, which is the reason he was bold enough to go for a Muslim Muslim Ticket.
PoliticsRe: Fashola: Right Thinking Nigerians Will Vote For APC In 2023 by duality(m):
No right thinking Nigerian will vote APC.

Only religious and ethnic bigots can do that. In terms of competence, APC is no where.

They want a president that who would be somewhere, while others loot with his name.

"Baba sope" presidency. May God not allow that to happen.

No good reason to vote BAT and there's nothing to pretend about it. Only the ethnic and religious bigots will hold on to that your line. The leading candidates have presented themselves. Obi, remains better.

The youruba bigots, couldn't push for Osinbajo now they feel threatened.

Who in the world wouldn't want an Osinbajo as their president.

You can call me Igbo or IPOB, because that's the lame response, when truth is told bigots, even by their own blood brother.

Atiku or Tinubu?

Ibkhaleel:
Peter Obi is not an intelligent man else he would have known better than allowing himself to be deceived. How and what on earth makes him believe he can ever win a presidential election in Nigeria. Igbos and their love for chasing clout is second to none, Peter Obi is a
clown and a clout chaser. Igbos should just stick to biafra clout chasing in peace.

PETER OBI AS A COMIC RELIEF
Peter Obi is a comic relief and soothing balm for the aching hearts, to the hotheaded, delusional fanatics who found in him a solace after their chimerical undertakings went burst and blown into smithereens.
They flaunt and sing his name only as lullaby to lull themselves to sleep and forget, albeit temporarily, their pains and agony, arising from the crashes of their bad intentions and ill-wishes, targeted against a particular group of Nigerians.
Others should therefore not only understand but also bear with them whenever they come online to vent their anger and frustration through their acerbic and delusional posts and comments.
When you write all these, tell us who you think will win.

PoliticsRe: Muslim-Muslim Ticket: Christians Protest Against Shettima In Front Of Aso Rock by duality(m): 7:08am On Jul 16, 2022
The reasons for this is because elections are brazenly rigged in Nigeria. This wouldn't have been an issue is not for rigging.

A situation were people manufacture 1.2M votes where 500k people reside.

They tell you that 900k people have registered and collected PVC, even when INEC can't register 30 persons in a day, with the way they operate.

PoliticsRe: Atiku, The Shortest Route To South East President by duality(m): 3:42pm On Jul 13, 2022
Newsletter01:
I was one of those who led from the front for the Igbo Presidency. I called for both the PDP and APC to zone their tickets to the South East or, through consensus, pick an Igbo man from either the South East or South South as the Presidential flag bearer. Somehow, that didn’t happen because, as they say in the game of politics, power is taken, not given, and in the Nigeria context of it, you must work ten times harder.

If the Presidency is for contest alone, the Igbo man will never win it going by our nation’s political structure and identity politics; we don’t have the numbers due to the divide and rule bottleneck in our brand of politics and democracy. Although the Igbos are still the largest ethnic group in Nigeria, however, we have been divided across geopolitical zones, making it impossible for us to agree or come under one umbrella.

With what we learnt from the recent primaries and the build-up to 2023, methinks we should go back to the drawing board and rework our strategy rather than the victimhood approach.

Granted that it’s almost time for the Igbos to produce the next President, which will be a better antidote to heal the civil war memory and renegotiate the Oneness and Unity of the country, however, we must equally acknowledge that we can’t do it without proper planning and preparation.

There's a need for bridge building and important synergy to be re-established with other parts of the country if we must aim for the Presidency, since we were not prepared for 2023.

Many may disagree, but Atiku Abubakar appears to be our shortest path to the presidency if we back him to win.

No offense to our brothers in the Labour Party pushing for the Presidency, but it’s almost impossible to win the Presidency as an underdog and without the major support of other blocs and geopolitical zones.

Peter Obi has done so well in his deceitful campaign. He has proved his mettle and led a new conversation, but then, not enough for him to win, unless he desires to embark on another trial and error and continue the mortgage of ndi Igbo.

It’s nearly impossible for a relatively unknown political party to overtake two major political parties, the ruling and direct opposition parties, to emerge winner in a setting like Nigeria, where the power to decide or call the shots rest with those in office, not social media.

Peter’s ambition may be right and timely, but politically, it is not good enough. His ambition may be getting the support of South Easterners due to the blackmail of the PDP and his campaign of treachery, it’s still not enough to get him the required spread.

Of the 16 years rule of the PDP, the North has had only two (2) years of presidency with Musa Yar’Adua. The South has had much of the PDP with Olusegun Obasanjo’s 8 years and Goodluck Jonathan's 6 years as Presidents; totaling 14 years of Presidency from the South under the People’s Democratic Party. It’s not totally wrong and out of place if the PDP failed to zone Presidency to the South and left the ballot open for all zones to contest.

What we should be interested in now is the next political calculation that will help the Igbo man aim for the presidency in the next 4 - 8 years. Only Atiku Abubakar from the North East seems the shortest route to actualizing Nigeria's President of Igbo extraction. Rather than embark on an ego trip and attempting to prove a point through another trial and error, I believe it will benefit our people in the South East more, should we rally behind the PDP and Atiku Abubakar.

The permutations favor Atiku more than Tinubu’s APC or Peter Obi Labour Party in 2023.

Anyone is at liberty to attribute any claims, but the plain truth here is that the election of 2023 is directly between the PDP and the APC, with others as underdogs.

The Igbos have Atiku Abubakar to build the Igbo Presidency project around him or wait for another 16 years to return to the negotiation table.

This is not the best time to weave sentiment and emotions, but to respond with logical actions.

The South East will support Atiku Abubakar.

#Ulokachukwubuikem
If you want to beg for Atiku, beg directly and stop this blackmail.
Igbo people better not listen to you. They should throw their weight behind Obi.,Negotiate if they want to. Non of the other candidate is guaranteed a win in this coming election. NON!

They are only playing mind games.

Infact Obi is actually leading and the momentum favours him.

The others are banking on rigging.

They should just plan against the primitive rigging. Work on the spiritual aspect where elections are postponed, for power transfer. ( I believe Obi should know about this important one by now) they shouldn't work with date. Rather Work with....

If nothing changes, he will win.
PoliticsRe: 2023: How Peter Obi Can Win by duality(m): 8:09am On Jul 13, 2022

Very simple....

Only alliance of NNPP, PDP and LP can give any of them victory at the moment..

Anything short of this, they are playing spoiler game for eachother.

This is logical, devoid of sentiments or emotions.
The only reason, you say this is because of rigging. A situation were 1.5M votes is manufactured from 500k people. Write fake results from the Zonal and state collation centers.

We know all these and that's the confidence the person you support, have.

Let me assure you, it will fail in 2023. It's not everything we say on line. This is more than BVAS.
