u know, true friendship is one thing that displaces the concept of brother or sister cos apart from the blood linking part, there are seldom any brother or sister that could meet up with the deeds of a true friend, (thats if you find one). Basically what one gets out of friends is what one puts into them. The level of trust you personality can hold, the conditions in which given the oppurtunity, you would stick ur own head out for them. I have had my self stay in one state and do things in a couple of other states (feeling like a superman). I have had people almost suffocate me with loving... Godmother: On the contrary she's a knock-out; tall, slim n very pretty. Though the guy himself is very good-looking so I'm sure he must have chicks all over himlet her not be discouraged. She should just know that when u take a bold step and do something few of ur kind do, things ain't always gonna work the way you expect them to but then just keep living ur life cos thats what makes her who she is. fresh dude, you could not have said it better. What culture has instilled in people is so hard to wash away. Using myself as example, though i may not tell the gurl off outrightly i could turn it down if the gurl does not meet my standards. U say they used to be friends, its not all my gurl friends that i can enter into an intimate relationship with. So may be he smiled and flattered her so much she thought it was all real. She should move on. It happens. Girls reject guys they dont want likewise , a guy can turn down a girl he does not fancy. Its not necessarily a case of considering her cheap. |

i've always said it to any ear that cares to listen and i don't give a sh;t what any body thinks. Democracy may work for the white man, but it obviously does not work out for the black man. Literally, 'ORIAKU' in Igbo means 'consumer of wealth'( sorry thats the best i could find in my not too broad vocab) its one of the most common names the Igbo man calls his wife or more like a name that has almost replaced 'wife' it actually goes to emphasis the Igbo man's culture of loving his wife and lavishing her with all the good things of life never mind that some times, certain conditions place some men where they would rather not be but more often that not, even in life's little uncomfortable crevices The Igbo man loves his wife more than you are comfortable enough to believe.its more of a culture than any other thing. 1 Like |

i really think am loving the new Killz, not like i had any thing against the old one but the new one, i think is cool. Though i don't spend enough time on NL to be able to make judgement, i think he is not doing too bad as an MOD. There are certain things he goes out of his way to do that makes me give him the pass mark. Granted that when you post an insult ur on edge to see the reply to it and demoralised to see it cut down, but then, isn't that his job? If your team were playing against your a team where your brother was the goalie, will you refuse to score or will he refuse to catch your balls? Play your game and let him play his. LET HIM BE. |
