proudly9ja:But isn't that what they should be talking about? a players strike to protect wages just delayed the start of the La Liga and Italy will have their own this week but that isn't news worthy while Arsenal's assumed demise is? how reasonable exactly is that and what will it take for people to realise there is something seriously wrong here in the spending embarked upon by the likes of city and chelsea? Long live FFP, it is the only chance we have of ever competing again. You want to start taking everything Arsene says Literally again abi? until that striker deal is announced I believe Arsene is just trying to divert attention from his CB hunt. January Window is still available to rectify that if I'm not mistaken, we need a CB like yesterday. |
The media won't run with this. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/948934/michel-platini-voices-fears-over-future-of-football?cc=5739 Arsenal in crisis makes them more money , blessed are the gullible who swallow their nonsense hook line and sinker. |
Now the media is gleefuly carrying the news, if this transfer goes wrong they will come out and accuse Arsenal of tapping up in the press when its Bolton who have chosen to make this public. |
folahann:The group is not as hard as Bayern's group though, I would say that was the toughest group. I'm looking forward to giving DK's lot a grand send-off if they drop out. ![]() Borussia lost Sahin and Marseille lost Taiye Taiwo over the summer as well. I think they'll be good tests but I'm confident we'll qualify likely top as well. |
@folahann I'm sure Manure will get a nasty surprise from Benfica, don't know about the other teams in that group but that Benfica team isn't bad at all. |
sirwebs:Long term injury, broken ankle while on loan to Millwall last season, should be back soon. |
ritchboy:Still resting after the WYC, might be in the squad for Manure. I still believe him to be the best of all DMs coming through though not as strong in the tackle as Frimpong but more refined. I kept laughing when Arsene was playing Eastmond, always knew he had no chance where Frimpong and Coquelin were. |
I never doubted Cesc loved Arsenal, his ties to Barcelona were just too much. Samir's move was mostly about money. So it is Borrusia Dortmund, Olympiakos and Marseille shey? we go qualify jare. Arsene can do that while sleeping. |
Most interesting tweet I saw this week from Alan Sugar.
Lord_Sugar Lord Sugar @ @piersmorgan Ringer u was slagging him off days ago.Any other manager with no new players wud be hanging the board out to dry. Top man
basically calling Piers Morgan a fair weather fan, and wishing he had Arsene as manager when he lost a lot of his money at Tottenham. ![]() |
ritchboy:Right on the money, their president is already saying he is worth twice as much as Nasri according to goal.com. He also says no one has contacted him. ![]() |
debosky:I'm still trying to understand that section of the fanbase to be honest. As much as I dislike the way some people like Ian Wright react to Arsenal's problems even one could see the smile of relief on his face when we won. No matter how much one hates or has lost faith in the manager, it is wrong to wish the club failure just to score some cheap points. |
follypimpi:I personally don't think Arshavin deserves a contract renewal, he has not stepped up in recent times as one of our big hitters and even Rosicky is looking better than him these days. ![]() I'll have Hazard down for a Central AM type role as well though I'm sure he'll also cope out wide. follypimpi:The finish for the goal was beautiful. |
Roland17:It is in Coogar's nature to insult people. He obviously believes most people find it funny and I think he is right about that. Don't take him too serious and you'll be fine. |
4llerbuntu:Same here, for someone who was a bit part player in League 1 last season, one can't complain about how he's taken to this level of competition and he's still got lots of room for improvement but I like that he does the simple things well from the onset, that was always the problem with Clichy and Eboue as good as they were, you just knew there was an accident just lurking around the corner. |
dip0:True word, just some nostalgia. ![]() |
Gervinho is the player I wish Theo was, what another buy again from Arsene. Anyone still think we should have bought Hugo Lloris rather than give Szczesny his chance? ![]() Rosicky still has some good things left in those tired legs. Now UCL is assured, can we go get Hazard Plzzzzzz |
Imagine adding this Gervinho boy while retaining Nasri and Cesc? |
Game over Theo, Eyin Haterz e se o, e wa maa lo. ![]() |
Roland17:Almunia kissed it a long time ago, it would take another epic injury list to see him in an Arsenal shirt again ![]() |
What a keeper Szczesny is. |
What a Goalkeeper Szezesnyyyyyyy. |
All we need is a goal, and now it comes. Great stuff from Gervinho. |
Djorou as usual not being proactive, where was the marking? abi he thought Di Natali couldn't do anything because he was injured? ![]() |
Roland17:Seems we've found another gem , and the ones we're finding these days have Arsenal DNA. ![]() |
End to end heart in mouth stuff. Lesson, there is a big difference between coming 3rd and coming 4th lads. |
Frimpong dey tackle sha, methinks we finally got our replacement for Flamini. Don't think any of the other MFs have made as many tackles even Song. |
Jenkinson might not be as comfortable on the ball as most of our players but he is very useful in aerial situations at the back. |
that is what happens when we go forward and Ramsey stupidly loses the ball upfront. ![]() |
Okay, E.F. Baracus is in the house, we want commitment but no red cards. ![]() and Muki, why the tirade about Arsene and not the match? ![]() |
The thread title is nice Proudly. ![]() |
I see no reason why he's still in the market @ this time hustling for players when his counterparts finished their transfer business and settled their teams 3 months ago. I won't be surprised if he doesnt sign anyone else this summer (hope he proves me wrong).
That you don't see them doesnt mean they don't exist naa? search the infra-red and Ultraviolet spectrums, yu'll pick up some signals. ![]() Just for Laughs sha, Joey Barton is about to explode in Senderos' face. ![]() [flash=400,300] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYTcf55B-oY[/flash] |
debosky:That backline looks solid enough for Udinese, I wonder why injuries that initially look inocous always turn out serious for us, Rosicky, TV5 and I hope not Jack, when he went off on that day, I thought he would be back within a week. |

. But seriously, who wants to read about Platini's thoughts?
