Cantonese: If you cannot tell us then you do not know what you are talking about. Since you have the information and you are certain please tell us and let us check. Do no give what is called "follow follow information". Lol,OK let me clarify, unlike US where a child is automatically a citizen so long as the child is born there. What the US had was Unconditional citizenship but some other countries have put technicalites like for example ,one of the parent must be a citizen or settled in that country etc. That is what i was driving at. |

futurism: yes. My sister gave birth in one European country and they didn't give citizenship to the child. exactly, i don't know why people are so worked up about it ,maybe its not the law but because its trump or something. A US parent living outside the US has 18 years to complete the process of naturalisation, thats a long time. Then there is the group of people who feel all they have to do is get on the plane with their big tummies and deliver in the US, they played the system for long and now want to cry wolf. This is something they cant try anywhere else ,but hey, US is the land of the free cos this laws have been in Europe even the UK for long |

AutoJoshNG: The operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation and Special Offences Agency (Taskforce) have commenced a clampdown on illegal commercial motorcycle operators plying restricted routes including all inners streets across Lagos.
The Chairman of the Agency, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi disclosed that the clampdown which started today had 125 motorcycles impounded for flouting traffic regulations around Ejigbo and Cele bus-stops.
He stated that the agency was compelled to embark on the clampdown, sequel to a series of complaints received on daily basis from innocent members of the public about criminal activities perpetrated by the illegal commercial motorcycle operators, both early in the morning and late at night.
He said: “We are going to make sure that there is total compliance with the Lagos Traffic Regulations by all commercial motorcycle operators in all our Local Governments and Local Council Council Development Areas as well as by those operating within inner streets”.
“In accordance with the Traffic Laws, every motorcycle operator must wear crash helmets, be above 18 years, not ride on kerb/median/road-setbacks, avoid restricted routes, not carry more than one passenger/pregnant woman/Adult with baby/Child below 12 years, not install any musical gadgets, must wear an apron, not operate beyond 10pm, operate with a rider’s permit and have their motorcycle registered with Government ”, he added.
According to the Chairman, research conducted by the government revealed that most riders of the illegal commercial motorcycles are not from Nigeria but from neighbouring countries, adding that some of them are also involved in criminal activities in the State.
He, therefore, warned all commercial motorcycle operators to ensure that their motorcycles are duly registered with the Government as anyone caught would be seriously dealt with in accordance with the law.
While warning the general public, especially motorists to ensure that their valuable items are safely kept while in traffic, the Chairman solicited for the cooperation of all residents in providing useful security information about criminal activities around them to security agencies through the Lagos State free Emergency Toll Lines 112 & 767. loverboy442: my brother, I'm yet to get over that. these lagos state government are nothing but thieves the bolded is the motive behind this. They have collected money from O ride and the likes ,what more than to phase out competition. |

mekuxiani: if they chase our citizens their companies should go not a good idea, we have to make this end in our favour, our citizens being attacked over there is loss on our end already, sending out their companies here will double our loss as many nigerians will be rendered unemployed. We can force them to enlist on our stock market ,enforce more strict rules to employ local workers and enforce mandatory community development projects from these companies. And if they cant adhered ,they will be forced out legally. That there is the way to go. Most of these companies make more money here in Nigeria than in their own country south Africa, we just have to use that to our advantage,i call it chess move. My people say ,nor be as body take scratch person, dem dead scratch am, in as much as i am pissed at the attitude of south Africans ,we must find a a way to come out of this ontop |

1StopRudeness: This kinda crap is what happens when there’s too much research funding and someone has to justify his or her allocation to the research board or funding organization/unit.. Toilet usage is based on biological need, people don’t go to toilet out of boredom or entertainment, or to make money... infact they don’t wanna go there unless there’s need to.. why this comparison is made is what I’m trying to get.... While it is a good thing to go to the toilet cos it helps maintain health/intestinal balance... there’s even no relationship that phone usage prevents people from going to take a shiit.... I still don’t understand this research... honestly that was how i felt when i first saw the title ,read through and still could not find the relationship between both. |
