I believe this law was done in 1960 using the British law as a template ,but guess what ,the Britons have long borrowed sense and changed this unreasonable and illogical law.

50k is not small money ,that is what they charge to trace your phone,atleast that is what i was told, when you calculate other miscellenous expenses, the victims most times give up on their quest for justice and use the money to get a new phone.
