PoliticsRe: Major Projects Under Construction In Nigeria (pics) by dulphines: 3:56pm On Jan 04, 2013
I hope most of these cartoon pictures i see here will come to reality. Eko city looks more like Newyork for the modeled picture. PH rainbow city dream picture (This one i don't believe, i know that place too well to look like what was drawn. I believe we can achieve all this with our resources if and only if our leaders do what they ought to do. We'll also learn not to vandalize them and imbibe MAINTENANCE culture. Goodluck Nigeria!

PoliticsRe: Pictures Of The Seat Of The Caliphate(sokoto) by dulphines:
ROSSIKE: Load of nonsense. Or a case of the grass is alwyas greener on the other side. Tell me something. Have you been to Uyo, Akwa Ibom lately? Ok, what about Calabar? Port-Harcourt?

How the hell is SOKOTO more developed than any of these places I've mnetioned - all located in the south-south?

Do you know the literacy rate of the south south compared to Sokoto?

In fact some of you have serious issues on this forum.
Sir,

Do not take it personal but be factual. Yes, i have been to the three places you mentioned and have seen the level of development therein. I am indeed disappointed that Port Harcourt is in your list of developed cities. Take a trip there and go through roads like Trans-Amadi, East-West road,The collapsed Eliozu bridge, Eneka to name a few places and see the level of decay on these roads. Uyo and Calabar, ok. I reserve my comment on what our leaders ought to do; considering the huge sum of money allocated to these state annually.

We are entitled to our personal opinion but that can never change the fact that we need more sincere people in Government. I will still appraise the Northern Governors higher compared to their Southern counterparts.
Thank you sir.
PoliticsRe: Pictures Of The Seat Of The Caliphate(sokoto) by dulphines: 2:48pm On Jan 02, 2013
anonimi: When you have a few million largely illiterate almajiris who do rankadede for any little gesture, life is easy.
How many of those roads are built by the FG and PTF and other non-state federal agencies?
How many vehicles do they have plying the roads in the north?
What is the soil condition vis-a-vis the south swamps and rain forests?
Why are they not focused on human capital development-education, primary, secondary, vocational & tertiary- for sustainability?
Do you how many government and other big buildings are practically vacant?

In any case, its good to see what the cattle herders are doing with the oil money from Niger Delta and the VAT proceeds from alcohol and hotel sales.
Why don't you just acknowledge the fact that they are doing well and forget the sentiments.

I am from the South-South and the truth remains that the Northerners are more committed to development than we are. The so called cattle herders and Almajiris have benefited from the judicious use of resources by their leaders.

"soil condition vis-a-vis the south swamps and rain forest" shouldn't be an excuse for poor performance in the area of road infrastructure in the entire Southern Nigeria. We cannot afford to keep making excuses for failure.

Sincerity is key to achieving these challenging objectives.

dirtymoney: them law makers don stop to dey chop chicken?
they runned short of ideas and concepts that would bring in long term economic sustenance to the state, are we paying these dudes to protect the rights of chickens over that of humans which have been constantly infringed by the so called democratic government.
Honestly, u need to see the way this malams handle animals. Those creatures feel pains just as we do. I see some wicked Nigerians stack over 20 goats in a car trunk and u will see the poor animals gasping for breath and space. Animals are treated better in more civilized contries. I think the law to protect chickens and animals in general is nt out of place.

Hated because they were strong, hardworking etc- just the same beef their forefathers faced in Egypt. Simply beef, nothing more. Infact, when the British government declared war against Germany; the Jews rejoiced and thought the end of their suffering was near bt thngs didn't go as wished. D harm was already done before the Americans decided to join in the fight against the enemy and brought an end to WW2. Book an appointment with History or discovery channel on dstv.

Rocktation: Footprint on the Moon [Lunar, 1969]

On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong put his left foot on the rocky Moon. It was the first human footprint on the Moon. They had taken TV cameras with them. The first footprints on the Moon will be there for a million years. This photograph was taken by Buzz Aldrin.
Lies, America never travled to the moon. One of the conspiracy theories.
