PoliticsRe: Muhammadu Buhari Live – How Impressed Was I ? by duni04(m): 2:26pm On Feb 03, 2015
4everGrand:
When I hear or see people call Buhari illiterate, I laugh. If you listen to him analyse issues both past and present from questions thrown at him, you would know this man is anything but illiterate or gullible. My grouse with this present administration is the impunity, the humongous level of impunity, all those around the President have with respect to corruption. Asari Dokubo has become a don in Abuja, the reason he would not want GEJ to leave, and he is ready to kill to actualise that, God would surprise him.
Believe me, corruption has attained new heights in this administration and I am telling you that GEJ can do NOTHING about it. Na GEJ wan follow Dokubo talk? What power can GEJ pull? none. That's the reason we need a change.
Nigeria needs to be better abeg, we've had enough. Its not a matter of this man is from my place or not from my place.
People claim Jonathan cannot do so much in so little time. Lemme ask, in 2012 when Barth Nnaji was Minister of Power, electricity improved tremendously. Then suddenly he resigned, and what is the story today. May I ask, why did Prof Barth Nnaji resign?
This administration reeks of corruption, and the president can do nothing about it. C'est fini
I agree that GEJ hasn't fought corruption but Buhari is also surrounded by equally corrupt people. Atiku was investigated by the FBI for bribing a US congressman. Bukola Saraki only jumped ship from the PDP to the APC when the EFCC opened his file and invited him for questioning on how he looted Kwars state. Now he's one of the national leaders of the APC. Bola Tinubus assets were seized for drug smuggling in the US in the 90's. These are the characters and personalities accusing Jonathan of aiding corruption. In this same Nigeria! What a joke!

Since it was at marina, hope the OP passed through CMS and saw the filth it has become. Or the Central Business district of Lagos that resembles Onitsha market, right there beside Fasholas official residence. People that cannot clean the filth and log in their own eyes are screaming change everytime and telling us they want to cleanse Nigeria. Fashola and his people are jokers!

I won't be voting in the coming elections. I believe we need a change from the status quo but i'm yet to see any change agent. Tinubu, Buhari and Atiku are no change agents! Its like we're planning to replace one set of miscreants with another set. The only reason most people are joining the "Change" bandwagon is because they just want something new, not necessarily because they believe any of these dubious personalities championing and chrousing change are capable of implementing any kind of change. Imagine Bukola saraki and Sani Yerima calling themselves change agents!
Buhari is old and can't even communicate anything to anyone. He knows absolutely nothing about the modern challenges of running a nation. His campaign slogan is locking people up and his economic agenda is strong naira against the dollar! He's still trapped in the 70's!

Economy didn't collapse, oil price collapsed. No magic can be done about that. Soludo wouldn't have done better in the same scenario, infact he may even do worse. Anyone could point fingers from outside. Ngozi is the pillar holding Nigeria today!

Ditto LRNZH
True but there was little accountability leading up to the start of the decline in oil price, and even now. The missing 20 billion dollars would have been used to defend the naira better and reduce its slide against the dollar. There's a reason Soludo kept harping on the fact that Ngozi is coordinating minister. The buck stops on her desk. If the beurocrats in Abuja weren't listening to her counsel, she should have resigned instead of allowing a charlatan like soludo destroy her credibility.

I won't debate with you because I can sense you are quite myopic.

Which yeye oil? Even if oil reaches $200/ barrel GEJ and his team of economist have ruined and still ruining the economy.

When you unborn great grand children have to pay for a debt this administration is inviting it will be too late and sad then.

The problem with clueless people is that they base Nigeria's economy strength and sickness solely on the global oil price which is NOT SO.
So debt is ur own benchmark for the massive layoffs you're ignorantly forcasting? And I'm the myopic one? What percentage of our debt is foreign and local, and what is our debt to GDP ratio? See me thinking that your argument was that the cbn's new CAR requirement in accordance with Basel 2 would put a squeeze on the banks and force them to cut costs. Not knowing that this dunce here was ignorantly pointing to debt. My fault, i went to quote a dunce. Mtshewwwww!

What will happen after election will be a tsunami. Insurance companies, fund managers, stock brokers will all be seriously hit.
If your own benchmark for doom is the low oil price then be prepared to eat your shit because oil is rising and will probably hit 70-90dpb in june.

If these two are the best Nigerians can choose from among its population to lead them then it is safe to say that nigerians are either clueless or senile and dumb.

Nigeria's economy is only good/improving on paper
as for madam okonjo wahala, I keep saying it. She is highly overrated. soluddo would dust her completely in an intellectual debate with her fake harvard nonsense degree.
Soludos degree from UNN is original and Ngozis from Harvard is fake?
PoliticsRe: Soludo Replies Okonjo-Iweala, Accuses Her Of Forging National Economics Stats by duni04(m):
I think ngozis arrogance is the problem here. The crux of Soludos entire argument is the missmanagement of Excess crude fund and the Foreign reserve. We all remember how the Rivers state governor and other APC governors took the FG to court because they insisted on sharing the money from the excess crude account which Ngozi suggested be put in sovereign wealth fund. All the three tiers of government, including the APC state governors have been responsible for the looting of our excess crude fund and our foreign reserve. Ngozi should have resigned when the bureaucrats in Abuja stopped listening to her suggestions on Economic management. Now she's allowing this crook soludo, who allowed Akingbola, Cecilia Ibru and Francis Atuche run our or banking sector aground in 2008, open his mouth and attempt a comeback to relevance by soiling her name.
We still haven't heard anything on the 20billion dollar NNPC audit. Ngozi hasn't stolen anything from Nigeria or Nigerians but her crime is that she allowed the thieves tie her hands and soil her credibility by remaining there while they looted the treasury and ignored her advise. She really should have resigned long ago.

Nobody's saying Buhari is the ideal candidate for President. Heck he's 72, frail and mostly shallow on Nigeria's core issues. But what is the alternative? Another 4 years of Boko haram killings and land grab under Jonathan? Another 4 years of declining foreign reserves and massive corruption? People don't really care much about Buhari, they just want a change from the status quo, any kind of change.

So many people in the crowd and nobody could take a picture? Bloody lies! The APC is a party of hypocrites and liars. This thread should be throw in the dustbin where it belongs. I wonder how it got to the front page without a credible source, and without a rebuttal from Segun Adewale. They didn't even use "allegedly" in the absence of any credible evidence to back up the story, they just said Segun Adewale did it. Garbage journalism! Someone just stage managed this rubbish and brought to nairaland to deceive as many people as possible.
For the sake of the credibility of Nairaland and Seuns credibility mods please remove this topic and throw in the waste bin.

The guilty ones are coming out one by one. Hehehehe. What a shame. Nairaland, home of female bashing. The bashers are the most ugliest, dirtiest people. If a male was the one who created this thread about his experience, all the males will join him and give him a round of applause. This thread will reach 20 pages. see them now. They are all tearing their clothes because a female leaked their dirty secrets. Na so una dirty for this place? Mouth odour? body odour? Ehnnnnnnnn. No wonder they bash females a lot here. Too bad for females here wanting to go for online dating on nairaland. grin grin
Nobody is bashing the OP because she's exposing anything. Its a well known fact that people who go online looking for love are losers. That one is undisputed. But the OP said she's been with more than 3 guys from here which means she's part of the loser crowd, and she has the guts to lampoon her own crowd like she doesn't belong there. Can't speak for the others but thats why I'm bashing her.

Apologies for meddling into your response, i am just curious why it is some common for people to be quite invective at the slightest provocation especially when having a dialogue online.
Who says m opposed to uncouth expressions? There are actually razz people out there, plenty of them. But when one razz person starts calling another person razz, smelly and dirty, makes me want to reach out and slap her back into her razz reality.
