Dam5reey: You dey mind them .... I Person talk now.. it will be like attack.. on Gionee...
Phone are launching with Qualcomm 830. Next year... They are rolling out cheap chipset... Imagine m6 and M6+ with Helio P10.. when phone are using x25 already... Exactly. This is why I don't like arguing with all these fan boys. They defend the indefensible. |

4peace: Did Gionee call it flagship? How old is 653 chipset? What is latest chipset from snapdragon? Those are the question you need to have ask or search before typed your reply bro? Your reply doesn't make sense. How can a device expected to cost $1000 not be a flagship? Go and Google about it and stop trying to defend nonsense. By the way, you don't seem to know what you are talking about. 653 is very old, and shouldn't not be used in a 2017 flagship device. |

faith551: Good one, but I have a feeling that before april 2017 phones with specs that will dwarf that of the Gionee will be everywhere Gionee M2017 is using an old chipset. Current flagships use Qualcomm 820 or 821, so Gionee M2017 is already outdated as is. |

I noticed an interesting feature just now. My MIUI version is "MIUI 8.1| Stable 8.1.1.0 (MHOCNDI)
I clicked on that portion of "About device" in Settings twice with the intention to "copy and paste". Guess the notifications that I got?
"You are now 4 steps away from developer"
"You are now 3 steps away from developer"
I didnt really pay much attention until I saw clearly "You are now 2 steps away...." I had to stop!
What's your take? There is nothing new or strange about that. Every Android has a hidden option in settings called 'Developer options'. To enable it, tap the 'Build number' in the 'About Screen' seven times to reveal Developer options. Here is mine on Hot 2

DonX001: From my research, my phone does not support Glo cos of their annoying band 28, so I'm left with Mtn and Etisalat options. Since you say Etisalat works well here, that means I'll try them out first. Thanks for chipping in. Right now, I think MTN LTE is the most reliable. I've been using it since October, and it's very fast. |

kenonze: Good move. This will go a long way in checking cars smuggling into the country. We need to generate our money. Benin Republic major income is from import duties from Seaport. over 90% are Nigerians. The problem still remains corruption. If these import duties will be utilized properly, and not embezzled like they have always been, it would be great. But we all know where these monies will end up. |

ThatDudeFego: Greetings everyone . Your posts here have really been helpful . I have gone through the 25 pages of this thread and was on my way to unlocking my own mtn mifi e5773cs 322 . But am still stuck at the first process, i was able to boot shot following the instructions i saw on here . At least , the HAUWEI Mobile Connect 3G PC UI Interface is now visible in the device manager, but it shows "A request for the USB BOS descriptor failed." to which i installed the BOS solution register as instructed . Still the error persists .
What do i do from here . Please and thanks in anticipation of your replies Did you reboot your pc after installing BOS solution registry file, because it would not take effect if you didn't. Not shutdown, but actual reboot. |
