You are using the T-Mobile variant of S4, and it doesn't support LTE band 7(2600) of MTN.

You should have submitted the one you originally used. If you had noticed, you would have seen that, for the appeal, you were suppose to submit the picture of the card containing the last four digits of the card that you originally used. That's probably why you are still having issues purchasing more aliepocket.

I experienced the same thing on Thursday, and i was told to appeal. So, on Friday, i went to the bank and got my bank statement. I appealed on that same Friday, sent them a scanned copy of my international passport, bank statement, and a picture of my debitcard. Since it's weekend, so i don't expect feedback till tomorrow or beyond.

Today, surprisingly, just out of curiosity, i tried to purchase a $10 Aliexpress pocket, and it was successful. But i've decided to wait until my appeal has been attended to, before going forward to buy more Ali pocket.

Now, my worry is, i have coupons that will expire on the 26th. If they don't get back to me before then, my coupons will expire.

My question is, is it possible to add the items i wish to purchase to my cart and apply the coupons and save for later, pending when they attend to my appeal, just so my coupons don't go to waste?

MTN is just getting better with more user switching to LTE...

Yes. Only the 606 variant supports band 28 of Glo.

MTN is yet to deploy 4G on Band 20 in my crib area of Lekki, (on a Bluboo Xtouch.) Incidentally, I bought the Xtouch primarily because it was a relatively affordable flagship that supports 20 for MTN!

Anyways, and through this moment, Band 7 works on its own, of course, or along with 20, provided 7 is switched on before 20. Switching on 20 before 7 locks the network on 3G solid, and, as I already stated, 20 on its own is not yet allowed on 4G in my area.

I may post relevant images later — if that's still deemed necessary.

(I used that familiar code — it works on most of my devices — but I also have the experience it doesn't work on some.)

Thanks for the detailed feedback, i really appreciate it. Maybe MTN never really deployed its LTE over band 20.

From what i understand, NCC didn't allow MTN to use band 20 spectrum after acquiring Visafone, and it was one of the main reasons MTN acquired Visafone in the first place. I understand there is an ongoing litigation issue concerning that.

Though if you ever find yourself in an area where LTE reception may appear to be excellent, you could try it out again. Remember, band 20 travels farther and penetrates walls better than band 7.

There are different variants of E5573. For instance, E5573s-320, E5573s-606, E5573cs-322, and so on.

I was told that mtn deployed its LTE in Lagos over band 20(800) and 7(2600). But i want to be sure.

Since you use Infinix hot s which supports both bands, could you do me a favour and get to the engineering screen by dialing *#*#3646633#*#*, then go into BandMode, select the data sim, now scroll down and uncheck band 7. See if it continues to show an active 4G reception. Thanks.
