nurez305: sorry, I thought for 10gig is 10k.,,, are you sure is 20k? MTN has increased it to 20k. They've always said it's for a limited time. By the way, it comes with 20gb, not 10gb. |

Dam5reey: Their plan work on both 4G and 3G even 2G..
I traveled to a location where i get only 3G.. I was able to use my data...
MTN no get special 4G plans Well, this particular data OP is talking about is the bonus given to old customers, and can only be used on a 4G SIM and a compatible 4G phone. The idea is to encourage those who haven't upgraded their Sims to do so. In fact, your network mode must be on '4G LTE Only' for it to work. If it switches to 3G, it stops browsing. I have the data on five sims, and only two that I have upgraded to 4G are browsing.

FellaL: nooo their 4g is the same no difference You haven't used it, yet you are making pronouncement on it. OP, before the launch of Glo LTE, I use to abandon my data plan because I couldn't use it due to slow 3G network. But ever since I tried Glo LTE, I've been very satisfied. It's fast and has low latency, which makes web pages load very quickly. The only downside to Glo LTE is its uncommon band 28. I had to get Spectranet Huawei E5573s-606 MiFi because of that. Though you can get the Glo LTE MiFi for 10k in case you don't have a compatible LTE phone. |

mojeed4: Have you tried it before? Stop spreading false information bro. I have been using the double data before, and I tried doing the pulse of a thing to get more data, but no device bonus was given to me. Do not TRY to do the pulse weekly sub for double data. I think the normal weekly data of 750mb is better, cos you will also get another 750mb bonus making a total of 1.5gb. soft. Device bonus also applies to the weekly. 750mb is the normal data given to other tariffs, but pulse users are given 1gb instead. Now, if you are a pulse user and also qualify for the device bonus, 2gb is what you get. authenticman: Hav u tried it this year 2017 and it worked? What I knkw MTN said was that the bonus is for certain devices, e.g.samsung and that tge promo was billed to end in Dec 2016. So let us know if its still working I'm not sure about this. The last time I subscribed and I was given the device bonus was on 30th of December. |

Contact me 08062466118 You should have let the OP know that Huawei E5573s-320 and E5573cs-322, which MTN both issue, don't support Glo LTE band 28, so Glo 3G is all one can get from those MiFi. OP is looking for a MiFi that supports LTE bands of ntel, MTN, Glo and Etisalat, and the easily gotten one in Nigeria is Huawei E5573s-606. |

Please what area of Lagos do you guys reside? Also, which phone you guys using?
Does the 4G LTE kills battery faster? I reside in Abuja, and I use both Huawei E5573s-606 and E5377bs-508 for Glo LTE. As for battery, there really isn't noticeable difference between 4G LTE and 3G. |

I haven't seen such flash message on my phone, But if there is such a plan, it would be nice.
But if you are on Pulse, and are qualified for the 100% device data bonus, then you can get 10gb for #2,500. Here is how;
Once you subscribe for #500/750mb weekly plan, as a pulse user, who also qualifies for 100% data bonus, you would be given 2gb. |

double0seven: but what about their 4g LTE? Is there anyone on it, or knows anyone who is on it.
trying to get a phone with 28(700) which Glo uses. My theory is that is that it should be terribly fast since not many people will be on it. You could get Spectranet Huawei E5573s-606 or Glo's Huawei E5377bs-508. But if you prefer a phone, get either Alcatel Onetouch pop 4 plus or pop 4 s. Or you could get the international variants of either LG G3 or G4, which both support band 28. |
Phones › Re: Between Glo 3G & Glo 4G LTE by dustmalik(m): 12:58pm On Jan 05, 2017 |
J4parry: Glo 4G is reliably fast and efficient, It's best enjoyed if you have enough data because the data burn/consumption rate is almost 3x that of 3G. Speaking from experience. I've used Glo LTE, and I didn't notice any abnormal data burning rate. Naturally, you are able to do more within a short period of time, probably why people tend to believe that LTE consumption rate is higher than 3G. |

I am in urgent need of 4G LTE Mifi (Universal, unlocked or ready to be unlocked). My location is ABJ. Kindly let me know if you have for sale at cheap price.
NB: Your suggestion on which type/brand/specs to go for will be appreciated as well.
Thanks If you can afford a new huawei E5573s-606, that would serve the purpose you want. That's what I did. I bought a new one from Spectranet, and it came with 30gb, for 25k. I then unlocked it. |

bensonlee770: The Federal Government seems to have increased electricity tarrif nationwide. The increment in tariff is by almost 50% as confirmed by the meter units purchased from Benin Electricity Distribution Company this morning. One of the staff of the BEDC spoken with confirmed the increment took effect on the 1st of January this year. The new tarrif is now #31.27/unit .It used to be sold at #24.80k/unit. It is surprising this was done without public knowledge. Any proof of this? |

Rafob: Is it true when you are on 4g one can not receive or make call pls answer to the questions. I mean with 4g Sim. You can't make VoLTE calls on both MTN and Glo LTE because they don't support VoLTE, but you can still receive and make calls over 3G and 2G. If you have a Glo or MTN 4G LTE sim, make sure the network mode of your phone is set to 2G/3G/4G mode, so that even if you are on 4G, when a call is coming through, your network mode automatically switches to either 2G or 3G. Same happens when you try to make a call. So it is not a problem at all. |
