Just follow the video. But instead of using the usbisafe.bin, use useloader.bin.

There was no need to flash a firmware at all, as we have realized. You only needed to follow the below procedure

To Unlock E5573cs-322 follow these procedure:
Boot shot your mifi
2) Install Huawei Mobile Partner and restart your PC, if you cant find "HUAWEI MOBILE CONNECT 3G PC UI INTERFACE [BOOT_3G]" in your device manager or it has an exclamation sign.
3) Also run this registry entry file - BOS_Solution - if you get "Unknown USB Device (Device Failed Enumeration)" after boot shot in your device manager. Dont forget to restart after running that file also.
4)Now open Balong_USB_Downloader_1.0.1.10 to load this "uldr_oem-nck_e5573b" bin file.
5) After successful loading of bin file, run putty, and make sure you change connection type to serial then set the serial line to the com port of "FC - PC UI Interface". Then set Local Echo and Local Line Editing to "Force On" under Terminal. Then click OPEN. Putty will run and calculate your OEM Lock And NCK Lock Code.
6) Pop in any sim other than that of the locked network into the Mifi, which will prompt it to ask for unlock code.
7) Enter the NCK code calculated earlier. Your MIfi should now be unlocked.

I don't know about etisalat, but I'm currently using both mtn and glo, and even on 4G, I'm not experiencing unusual data zapping.

The additional 10gb is not guaranteed unless the 5k/10gb plan is activated on the mifi itself by the mtn agent. You should insist that it should be activated on the mifi. They usually activate it on their own phone at the office, thereby denying you of the additional 10gb device bonus.

Oh thanks bro. Is that any major ish besides the bands between the glo and mtn wifi? The reason for asking is cos, glo 4G doesn't work here at the moment. So I intend buying the glo mifi then purchase the minimum amount of data, proceed to buy mtn data and use it. From what I've learnt, mtn, Ntel and glo works on glo mifi. Can the same be said about mtn mifi?

Glo mifi supports band 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 and 28, but doesn't support band 3, 8, so it can't work with ntel or etisalat 4G, but it works with mtn 4G.

mtn mifi supports bands 1, 3, 7, 8, 20 and others i can't remember.

There is not much difference asides the bands they support and of course, the Glo mifi has a small lcd display.

It was easy enough to follow but i got stuck at the putty level,
After following your instructions and i opened the putty
The terminal open but no code was generated
Am i supposed to type in something to bring up the codes?

I haven't personally used this exact method myself. But i hope you are using the right bin file, because that is crucial to the generating of unlock code via putty. Also, make sure you are using the right putty.

Your mifi can't be unlocked by mere unlock code. It requires the boot shot method.

The 4G glo mifi currently been sold. I don't have it so I don't know the model. Wanna know if it's possible before buying it.

It's the E5377bs-508, and can be easily unlocked. Just make sure you don't update it when you buy it. It brings up an update prompt, just ignore it.

Glo 4G LTE will change your opinion. Before now I hated Glo, but after trying out its 4G LTE, my view has changed.

You don't seem to know what you are talking about. How does band 7 beat band 28? The only advantage band 7 has is its popularity among 4G devices, not that it's better in any way. In fact, band 28 has its own advantages over band 7. Unlike band 7, band 28 travels way farther, and it penetrates walls far better than band 7.

In case you didn't know, in radio spectrum, the lower the better. Therefore, 700mhz is better than 2600mhz.

Band 28 is only uncommon, not that it is slow.

Yeah I did. But have had issues ever since. When they call it rings for a few times (mostly twice) and then cuts saying "number not on the network" etc

Yup on iOS 10.1. I'm beginning to think they gave me a dud sim.

Can you take a picture of the sim and post it here? I'll be able to tell if it's a 4G sim or not.

I use an iPhone 6 Plus. GSMArena states this band as being supported.

I see. Have you upgraded to iOS 10? Apple added support for Glo 4G LTE on iOS 10. So, it's a requisite.
