The OP wants to know if it's possible to use a 4G enabled sim in a 3G device.

Well, it depends on the Telco. If the Telco is one that supports 2G or 3G, like MTN or Glo, for instance, then yes, the sim would work on a 3G device, albeit only being able to use 3G and 2G service.

But sims from telcos like Swift, ntel, Spectranet, Cyberspace or Smile, on the other hand, would only work on 4G devices, since they only support 4G.

Though it's been a few weeks since i used Glo LTE, so i don't know how it is now. But the frustration i went through in the days i used Glo 3G, all came to an end with the launch of Glo 4G.

i manually input glosecure before it starts browsing. gloflat APN stopped browsing abruptly. am using mtn 4G LTE for now. let me see how it goes

I'm really surprised that glosecure is even connecting at all on Glo 4G LTE. I have up to four Glo 4G Sims, and none of them would connect on 4G once i change the apn from gloflat. But on 3G, almost all apn connects.

Though it's been two weeks since i used Glo LTE, maybe that has changed. I'll try it out when i get home.

Thank you very much guys for your help. Eventually bought the Alcatel Pop 4 plus today at finet Ikeja. But not before I'd wasted money by buying the Tecno W3 LTE day before yesterday only to find put Glo 4g doesn't work on it. Anyway, currently blazing glo 4g on Alcatel. So far so good, i like what I'm getting. Thank you once more guys.

I love glo simply becos they have the cheapest data. I realised I made the wrong judgement by getting der mifi for 25k. Should ve gone for spectranet 606.

Spectranet premium WiFi model is 5578s-932, while regular mifi is the 606. Would get it in December since my spectranet sub on the cpe would be expiring then. That should bring down cost.

So. You finally found out the model name. I guess you mean January, right? Because we are already in December. Do you know the bands it supports?

Glo is the same amount as mtn. 5k for mifi and u buy data of either 5k or 8k. Be aware of the fact that the guys der would try to cheat you and make some money out of u by selling u 8k data for 10k. Ensure u do not update the mifi to make unlocking very easy. No need to bootshot o just use v3 lock code to unlock it. I have the glo mifi Unlocked, mtn mifis unlocked (302 and 322). Smile black router already unlocked. Considering getting the spectranet prime mifi tomorrow for unlocking. I ve the white cpe spectranet but the unlocking procedure na stress.

Could someone tell me the model of spectranet prime mifi and how to unlock?

Do keep us updated on the Spectranet premium mifi. I'm also interested in knowing the exact model of the mifi.

Tecno w5 lite doesn't have 4G support.

It's 62140, rather. And, No, that's normal. 621 is Nigeria's Mobile Country Code (MCC), while 40 is ntel's Mobile Network Code (MNC).
