And I can tell u that I have never gotten 4G+, maybe if u tell me Ur location I might stroll down there just to experience it, but I can confidently say it's not available in Glo.

If you have met all the conditions I mentioned on my previous post and your device signal type isn't still showing 4G+, that doesn't necessarily mean that carrier aggregation is not happening on your device. It's just that some carriers don't force implement it to show 4G+ on all devices. To be sure, download an app called NetMonster from Playstore, then launch it. Now, check the app to be sure. My Glo doesn't do 4G+

Firstly, Glo LTE band 3(1800) has to be available in your location. Secondly, your device must support both GLO LTE band 28 (700) and 3(1800). Thirdly, your device must support carrier aggregation, in other words, LTE-A or LTE-Advanced or 4G+.

Download an alternative sms application from playstore and use it to change the sms centre number or put the Sim in a small touchlight phone and change the sms centre number, then put the Sim back in your main phone.

What's the difference between 4glte & 4G+

4G is the same as LTE (Long Term Evolution).
The difference between 4G and 4G+ also known as LTE-A or LTE-Advanced is speed. 4G+ or LTE-A simply means combining two LTE bands in order to achieve greater speed.

In Nigeria, only MTN supports true LTE-A, with the combination of LTE band 20(800) and band 7(2600). Mind you, LTE-A is device dependent. Your phone, MiFi or Router must support it in order to take advantage of it on the MTN network.

I have been going to glo office in Wuse 2 to register my sim card according to NCC directive but up-till today, Glo office is unable to register my sim card. I have done this for six times now. Today I will be doing the same registration of the same sim card for the 7th time. Each time I do the registration, glo office in Wuse 2 will tell me it will not happen again. But guess what, after two weeks sim registration will fail automatically without any notification. This does not happen to only me. If you get to Wuse 2 glo office, you will see Nigerians in their hundreds who are experiencing the same thing as mine.
Kindly suggest to me what next to do as many of my clients knows this line only.

Try the re-registeration one more time, and if successful, Port to MTN.

Dial *131*1#, then enter 8, which is Manage Data. Then enter 3, which is Cancel Autorenewal.

MTN only carried out 5G Trial/Demo. There is no plan for deployment yet. If you know how expensive it is to deploy 5G, then you would know that no Service provider in Nigeria is ready for it just yet.

I hope you know the 128k Sims cards from our service providers can only take 200 contacts? And if you were to lose the Sim and you are not on their backup service, you can't recover your numbers.
