Could you share the code? Because dialing *#*#86583#*#* to enable VoLTE didn't work for me.

The one I'm trying it on is also global version. It comes and still disappears.

In the video, I emphasized the fact that you must quickly select LTE Only before the network shows up, if not, it won't work. For me, it works every time. I've also tried it on a Redmi note 3 running miui 8, and it works every time, too.

I don't think it will work for those xiaomi that one has to set it to LTE only and then wait until network comes.

The device I used in the video is a Redmi note 4 Global version, so it works.

Here is a video I made on how to get ntel working on Xiaomi devices on any miui version. Unlike the other method I saw on this thread, this works whether your sim is on sim 1 or 2, or even if it's the only sim in the phone.

First of all, select ntel as the data sim and input ntel APN, now you just need to get to the *#*#4636#*#* screen, then enter the 'Phone information' of your ntel sim.
Now switch on Airplane mode.

If the network mode is on LTE Only, switch it to any other network mode.

But if it is already on any other network mode aside LTE Only, just disable Airplane mode, and quickly switch it to LTE Only before the ntel signal appears. The network signal will be stable. That is the trick.

But if you don't quickly select LTE Only before network signal pop up, it will disappear.

Basically, unlike other methods, this only takes 5-10 seconds to get it working.

It seems there is now a Taiwan variant of Redmi note 5 with LTE band 28 support. Anyone with an idea of where to get this online?

I got an error message: Qualcomm driver not available...

As far as i know, it only works with Qualcomm SoCs and it must be rooted. I think your device's SoC is not Qualcomm.

I was talking about VoLTE, not getting ntel network to be stable.

By the way, i've come up with a faster, better and simpler way to get ntel working on Xiaomi devices, and it works on all miui roms, whether on sim 1 or 2. I'll make a video and post it.

I did that a million times and still didn't work. Trust me when I tell you that I have done everything.

I changed region a million times over as suggested in the mi forums, but still, no show.

Trust me, it doesn't work on note 4x SD or note 3 SD variant on ntel. I've tried everything known to make it work but to no avail. It seems the new generation of Xiaomi devices, like Redmi 5 plus and note 5 use a different protocol of VoLTE which ntel supports.

The unlimited is capped at 5Mbps. Though from time to time, maybe due to network glitch or whatever, like it was yesterday and the day before that, it was getting to 10Mbps until midafternoon. Mind you, I carefully observed this scenario.

It has been four weeks since ntel capped its unlimited at 5Mbps. Before then, it was capped at 10Mbps.

You should have done your homework properly before getting the ntel sim. Officially, ntel is only available in Abuja, Lagos, and Portharcourt, so technically and otherwise, there is nothing anyone can do for you, neither can you hold ntel responsible for your misadventure.

The WAWU plans' speed isn't capped, but tends to stop intermittently when downloading, like after every 20-30MB, which is very frustrating. I think it is better at streaming.

In my experience, for the past three weeks, ntel has capped its weekly unlimited at 5Mbps. Is that your experience, too?

Mind you, I've tried it on three different sims. It used to be capped at 10Mbps before then. By the way, my location is Abuja.
