vanchi:Don't you think it's unwise to display your Swift Account number publicly? |
DonnyE:Nice one. So which region are you on at the moment? |
DonnyE:I'm surprised that you are getting VoLTE on your device. Could you check how many APNs you have and their settings. Screenshots would be preferable. |
princemillla:That is how a 4G LTE network is suppose to be, not like the slow-ish ntel. |
bobo65:There is nothing you can tell me about ntel. I've had their sim since the very first day they started selling their sims publicly. In case you didn't know, Transcorp Hilton, Abuja was the first venue ntel sold their sims to the public. I was among the first 100 people to own an ntel sim. I remember very well how we use to achieve over 80Mbps to 100Mbps those early days. And now, they've conveniently capped their unlimited at 5Mbps, down from the 10Mbps they had capped it last year. I've two LTE MiFi devices that support their bands and a Category 6 LTE Phone, so yes, there is nothing i don't know about ntel. Like i said, the WAWU PROMO will finally ground their already useless, sluggish network. I've found that those who think that ntel is fast are people who are used to 3G network and don't know how 4G LTE is suppose to be like. |
ntel is a very useless network. First of all, their network was already slow, then they decided to do a Promo which will finally ground their network completely. Now, it's becoming worse by the day. In the next few days, opening a single page on ntel will be impossible. If not that it's the network we use at my work place, nothing would make me use it. |
TonyeBarcanista:I never quoted you. My quote has nothing to do with you. |
MadeInTokyo:You don't seem to know anything about Kaduna politics. From the on set, no one expected APC to win anything in Southern Kaduna. That is the way it has always been. Even the Senator currently representing Kaduna South is a PDP member. |
I'm not surprised by the results. It's only in Southern Kaduna that PDP can possibly win. |
willywasco:Stop posting rubbish. APC won in all 23 LGAs. |
eejo:My state will never vote for PDP again. You should talk about your own state. |
vickaposonto:I bet you don't understand what you just posted. This simply means 287.5 KBps, which is very slow for a supposed 4G LTE on three bars reception. In case you still don't understand, what you posted is actually a 2G speed. |
Aldebaran:I was one of the pioneers of ntel. I was among the first 100 people to own an ntel sim. I got my sim the day ntel started selling their sims at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, so there is nothing anyone can tell me about ntel. In case you don't know, Transcorp Hilton was the first venue ntel sold their sims publicly. So, yes, I've seen it all on ntel, from the early days we use to achieve up to 80 - 100Mbps, and now it's totally useless. I repeat, If you happen to find yourself in Lagos, then go for Swift, unless you want to be frustrated. |
Just stay away from ntel, unless you love being frustrated. If you are in Lagos, then you are lucky, just go for Swift. |
Ernesthugo:You get 4GB when you swap or buy a 4G sim, and put it in a device that support LTE band 3 (1800mhz). Once the LTE signal comes up, you will receive the 4GB. If you put it in a 3G device, you won't get the 4GB. |
Airtel LTE has been available in Abuja for over one month plus now. I got their sim three weeks ago, and it's a glorified 3G. I tested the speed of their 4G in places where network is best, yet I never hit 2MB/s. Among the four national carriers, MTN and Glo have the fastest 4G. Etisalat 4G is another glorified 3G. |
mhaki:Google the Model and Variant specs of the MiFi. |
Thebrightest:N3,750 |
If it supports band 20 and it's unlocked. |
Server88:I've tried it on two different sims and the result remain the same. |
daamazing:No. Unlimited plan on a non WAWU sim. |
Server88:Yes, and this only applies to the unlimited plan. Are you on the unlimited plan? |
Am i the only one being limited to 5Mbps on the U-Weekly Unlimited plan? |
Ayotundesh:You've been advised already. For your peace of mind, go for Spectranet. |
Hargbo:True, but stay away from it unless you like crawling internet that is capable of frustrating you death |
Everything you need to know about ntel have already been discussed here https://www.nairaland.com/3121922/subscriber-options-unlimited-internet-worth No point creating unnecessary threads. |
missyblissy:I have had a WAWU sim way before you, and I'm telling you authoritatively that it's throttled. It was after I complained to an ntel staff, who is my friend, that he told me that I made a mistake by buying the WAWU sim. He told me that the WAWU sim plans are throttled, and they would continue to be throttled. Do you think any Nigerian network would give you 48gb for 3K, and allow you to enjoy it? |
gbenson:You don't even know where Dino is from, yet you are posting rubbish. |
missyblissy:I strongly urge everyone to disregard the above comment, unless you want to be frustrated to death by slow internet. The so-called WAWU sim plans are throttled just so you don't enjoy your data. Stay away from it. I regret ever buying into it. But if you can afford ntel's unlimited plans, then go those ones. They aren't throttled. Not that they are fast anyway |
toluxa1:And they have been there way before the likes of Smile, ntel, InterC, yet these networks have since expanded to several states. As unpopular as InterC is, it has presence in a number of states. |
