Dam5reey: The last step you gave for Hong Kong, Nothing showed up or maybe it already worked I didn't know cos, after the Hong Kong process the toggle was enabled... but I switched to India, reboot again.. then I looked up and see my data is not connected.. I remembered VoLTE must have data on.. So I added the APN, and boom data connected VoLTE showed up..
That your NTel disappearing formula works like charm, this one too... Thanks boss, Though I don't use the VoLTE for now..
Nice one. Thanks for seeing this through. I appreciate it.
My Mi note 3 can toogle the VoLTE Option but RN5 cannot You might have a solution
You could try these methods below
Method 1. First of all, Change your region to India. Then go to network setting and make sure VoLTE toggle is enabled, then reboot. If VoLTE still doesn't come up, try method 2.
Method 2. While your region is still in India, dial *#*#4636#*#* and enter the Phone information of your ntel sim. Scroll down and make sure VoLTE toggle is enabled. If it is and VoLTE still hasn't come up, then reboot. If after rebooting and you still don't have VoLTE, then try method 3.
Method 3. While your region is still in India, dial *#*#86583#*#*, then reboot. If VoLTE doesn't come up, then change region back to Nigeria and go to network settings. If VoLTE switch is missing, then dial *#*#86583#*#* and reboot again.

I see. But did you try switching to India region? Also, did you reboot between switching regions to see if it helps in any way? If i had the device, there are a whole of things i would try though.
chuksjuve: The tag leadership award has been bastardized in Nigeria ..
Most awards are usually for the highest bidders, forget the PR packaging and good write up they use to back up most the awards..
It's just charades..
My opinion..
toluxa1: These people must be high on rat shi.t NTEL that can hardly open nairaland? NTEL is the worst network in Nigeria by far. Very unserious company, only 3 states, they can't provide quality service and they are voted Telecoms company of year? I guess Buhari is also Best President of the Century.
Dam5reey: No option, I switched region press the code as well no show..
Thanks. I guess there is more than just LTE bands difference between the Chinese and Global versions, because VoLTE has been confirmed working on the Chinese variant. By the way, did you switch to India region?
JulianoB: I don't think it's activated on Global version, I don't get VoLTE as well on mine.
dustmalik: Now, this got me curious. Interesting, given that the only difference between the Chinese and Global variants are the LTE bands.
But before we come to any conclusion, try the following;
Try and follow these steps carefully and accordingly. Hopefully, VoLTE will POPUP.

dvee2: How can a human being harbour sooo much bile and hate for others? Yet he is an editor of a national newspaper. Any wonder why headlines from vanguard are skewed, sensationalized, fake and bigoted? Nothing short of dismissal will reset this man's brain. When we say the media is bias it can't be more than this. How do you expect such a fellow to report news factually?
The fact that most, if not all, his tribesmen on this thread agrees with his views, tells you a lot.
Godisgud86: Any special settings?... Nokia 2 as Band 40. LTE come up and disappeared.
This is common with 4G Only networks, that is to say, networks that don't support 3G or 2G. Follow this method that works with with Xiaomi devices. It might also work with your Nokia. Just watch the video
mosho2good: can someone plz help me I'm unable to get my sim details all the response I'm getting is error, I can't login to check my sim details. Can someone plz help me on my Ntel sim
You don't need to login to the myntel.com.ng portal to view your sim details. Once you visit myntel.com.ng/summary, your number, data, airtime are there for you to see. Though it seems they are having network issues at the moment, hence the portal isn't giving much details.
Silvawazza: When such a tin occur, jst make sure u're using a resume enable downloader pause it and start it. You will be amazed wit the speed.
I know this already, and that's how i've been downloading with it for almost 3 months now. A permanent solution to the intermittent stops would be better.
Donfamous: I'm having issues with all my applications ( browsers, YouTube, bank apps and twitter always saying I'm offline), so I can only use instagram, what's app and nairaland operamini. Please help. I'm using xiaomi redmi note 4. And whenever I on hotspot for people they enjoy all these.
This has nothing to do with ntel. Factory reset your note 4 and update it.
Dam5reey: I activated for someone, you don't get bonus on recharge, but you will get 500% data. That is 1k for 2GB Wawu will be 10GB, 500Naira 1GB Wawu will give you 5GB
Heshei: Have you been able to make VOLTE calls now?
No. I've not been able able to get it working on redmi note 3 (Kate) or Redmi note 4 (mido), but others have gotten it working on the newer generation of Xiaomi devices like MI note 3, Redmi 5 plus and Redmi note 5.
Michealeni: I tried this your method on doogee mix, it did not work...which other method can you recommend again please...whenever I put on the phone the 4g network will come up and later disappeared
