It's Satellite, just like DStv. The data bundle included is just a complimentary service, for wifi hotspoting, or any other purpose you wish to use it for. Data is not required to view channels.

I thought I saw Sheraton, Abuja the first time I read the vanguard link, I guessed I missed it.

I just checked. They didn't specify the state. I might ask them on Twitter or Facebook

There is nothing special about the channels that Tstv plans to air that people like CTL and fta guys are not already doing. All these naysayers are getting worked up over nothing. Only difference is you pay for same channels while with fta, for example, you keep using frequency and symbols to track same channels for free.

In the meantime, Tstv plans to launch 2moro by 5p.m at Sheraton, Abuja and will be giving out free decoders, so sale of decoders might be till Monday or later than that.

Is it the Sheraton in Abuja or Lagos?

let me repeat , if a telco provide is launching a new service, they will make sure it is accessible before launch; otherwise, it is not a launch

if they launch the service without providing the equipment to access it at the same time, they have failed. do you realize that if the decoders are not available, the launch ceremony will be watched on dstv decoders

What are you even going on about? You don't expect them to make available their decoders to the public before launch, do you? What's the point of launching if the decoders are already out there? Have you ever had access to a Samsung or Tecno device before its official unveiling?

If you want to experience the unveiling, go to Sheraton hotels, at about 5:00pm, on 1st of October, that's where and when the launch will take place, and 5,000 decoders will be giving out to those who witness the launch.

And yes, anyone can be a dealer. I was at TStv's corporate office yesterday, and from what I found out, anyone with the requisite financial capability could be a dealer. So you have no point at all.

You are just posting trash up and down. I believe you are a DStv agent. Is it TStv's fault if someone decides to repost whatever they post? The Cyber Cafe page is probably a prospective TStv Dealer page.

For instance, if I intend to be a TStv Dealer, I would do same.

First of all, there is no way you can have access to a product that has not been launched yet. If not, what's the point of launching a product that is already available to the public? Let me ask you, Have you ever had access to a Samsung, iPhone or even Tecno device that hasn't formerly been launched?

Officially, they'll only launch in Three cities, which are Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. You don't expect them to launch in all 36 states, do you?

OP, I was also there this afternoon. From what I was made to understand by one of its agents, no Super Dealer or sub Dealer has gotten the decoder till now, until after the launch. I even asked when the decoders would be available to the dealers after the launch, and I was told no specific date yet. To be honest, I was quite disappointed.

It's working, you just need to get the satellite position right. Some people who are fortunate to get it early have been using it.

The point is, given all TStv has promised so far for a meager N3,000/month, if they were to add channels like Zee world and Telemundo, why would anyone patronize GOtv or even Dstv anymore?
