Please do they have world wide coverage? Can someone enlightened me.
Worldwide? I guess you meant nationwide. According to TStv, upon launch, it will be available nationwide. http://www.tstvafrica.com/wheretobuy.php visit the link, select your state and see the accredited dealers available. I understand the list is still being populated.
TV/MoviesRe: My Little Calculations On TSTV Data Plans by dustmalik(m): 8:36pm On Sep 26, 2017
STFUandSUCK:
so TSTV is offering 10gb for 1 month at the rate of 3k. sounds amazing on the surface, but we've learnt to take anything we are told by big companies with a pinch of salt so i for one has to do a little digging so as to avoid grown man tears grin . Ok, to the calculation: i'll be using netflix data consumption for their lowest resolution/definition broadcast, which as you can see below is 310mb for 1h. our aim is to determine the number of hours you can enjoy your 10gb allocation whilst streaming that resolution. To get that, we just divide the 10gb by the 310mb, and the answer is............33 hours, or 3 hours of tv daily for 10 days. So what do you think, does it work for you?
TStv have stated that the 10gb Data is not for the purpose of viewing its channels. It's simply a bonus for other purposes such as video conferencing, wifi Hotspoting, and since the decoder supports iptv, you could use it to stream the additional contents.

MECOOL KI Pro, dual combo
Used for free to air/android purposes

Using it is actually cheaper than subscribing to Dstv for all football channels especially with Glo weekend 3gig for 500#. The only downside is when net becomes bad
Thanks for the info, man.

They show epl bro..
EPL live on Bein sport 11 (English) and others in Arabic
I watch bein sport almost every weekend/some weekdays
Going by the the listed channels on TStv website, there is no bein sports 11. And from my research, it seems bein sports 2, 11, 13, 17 are the ones that show epl and general English football.
I see a whole lot of people are over excited about TStv, but i've reservations, especially as it concerns football.

I don't see the point of this thread. Since there are mosques in igbo land, just go any of them. There, you'll probably see an igbo muslim.

I was reading on their Facebook page last night, that's the bein sport channels are internet based. I really hope not dou...
The internet based stuff is probably true given some pictures some privileged people have posted so far. You'll notice ipHD written at the top right. Personally, I think this is a terrible idea. I wonder how much data one will require.

She use to run a brothel in the US back in the day. It's common knowledge to those who knew her. There is really nothing new here.

The truth is that she has come a long way, and people should just allow her to enjoy what she has worked hard for.

These are questions begging for answers.

While I am all for cheaper subscription that FSTV promises to bring,I am scared, because I was bitten badly by HiTV.
I lost a lot of money to HiTV subscription and I have not been able to recover same till date.
From my experience in Port Harcourt,CTL shows BeIN channels, but the reception is not very clear compared to DSTV.
Secondly most of the football commentaries are in Arabic language. Only one match, half time and post match analysis are in English. How will FSTV treat this issue?
Thirdly,I understand super sport, which is a subsidiary of Multichoice has EXCLUSIVE rights to the premier League in Africa, how will this work out?
CTL which shows BeIN sports is not a dish/decoder based company, they use basket antenna and the end product is not clear like DSTV HD channels.
If FSTV success I am all for cheaper subscription, but until then, I am in watch mode.
Concerning video quality, Unlike CTL/Trendtv, TStv promises to deliver bein sports HD 2 to 10, all in HD, so video quality shouldn't be a problem. They also have Fox sports 2 HD and other HD channels.

The reason I asked that guy is because he is one of those who are actually using TStv right now, I mean he is one of those with early access. So naturally, he'd know exactly what channels are available.

Bein sports 1 to 10 covers the whole super sport channels. October 1st is almost here. Waiting for them to launch.
From my understanding, bein sports 11 is the channel that shows more of English football.

chukzyfcbb:
Its said 20gig for 3k abi.

if not what are the subscription charges.

because if I use 7.5gig in 30hrs of streaming.

it means 15gig - 60hrs
60gig - 240hrs I.e 8hrs daily

if you watch TV an average of 8hrs daily, you better find what the subscription of 60gig is
According to TStv's Customer service, the 20gb is just bonus, and has nothing to do with the viewing of channels.

Thank you, in my own understanding , pay as you consume shouldn't have a validity period attached to it (like the monthly, weekly, I pointed out in that first comment). Consumers should be given the freedom to monitor their consumption
People have been very excited about TStv for the past few days, but I'm very apprehensive about it all. I've warned the excited ones to be ready to be disappointed. Like you rightly said, pay as you consume should have at least a longer validity than 30 days.

Think they were misquoted.
When I chatted with them, the agent told me the decoder has 20GB data capacity for the month, 10Gb will be given freely with the 3k sub while the rest can be bought at 300naira per GB.

So the 20Gb gist was just being carried out of misunderstanding. The 20Gb is still there, but not entirely free as several thought.
uptimum123:
20gb actually comes with terms and conditions on the 3k sub, though the terms is yet to be known.
I see. We'll just have to wait and see how it pans out

I hope they do so. A satellite TV without the complete football package is like visiting Paris without seeing the Eiffel Tower.
Someone on this thread claims he is already using it, but maybe because it hasn't been made public yet, he doesn't seem to want to talk about it. But here is a picture he posted from the earlier match between Westham Vs. Spurs. It shows the match being watched on bein sports 2 HD

The only clarification I need is, " Will TStv guarantee QUALITY PICTURE?"
They claim they are going to include a whole lot of HD channels including bein sports HD 1 to 10, so naturally, pictorial quality shouldn't be a problem.

But like i have told some people, don't get your hopes up, be ready to be disappointed.

Are you saying that TSTV cannot make deals to include stations like Kwese TV, Supersports or even Sky Sports (that have a right to live EPL matches) in their packages? There must be, or should be, terms and conditions that allow that.
Supersports is owned by multichoice, and multichoice owns DSTV. So, they may be able to make deals with others but multichoice will not give them access to Supersports.
TV/MoviesRe: TSTV Launches In Nigeria: Channels, Packages, Subscription & Decoder Prices by dustmalik(m): 7:35pm On Sep 23, 2017
peeps4u:
The 3k sub comes with 10Gb.
But remember, it a value added service. The data is not needed to watch the channels.

Here are the packages as given by TSTV CS agent

TSTV - 30 N3000 for 1month with 10GB data,
TSTV - 15 N1500 for 2weeks with 5GB data,
TSTV - 10 N1000 for 10days with 3GB data,
TSTV - 7 N750 for 1week with 2GB data,
TSTV - 3 N500 for 3days with 1GB data and
TSTV – PAYGO N200 for 24hours with 500MB.
Yeah. But initial, they said they would include complementary 20gb, not 10gb. I'm surprised that they have not even launched yet they have already started backtracking on their promises.

Are you sure bro? I thought the 20GB is to be either used to watch the channels or browse if you want.
Where does the data to watch the stations come from if the the 20GB is not to be used to watch the channels?

Willing to be educated.

MODIFIED.

Just chatted with them, the data is just Value added service, wouldn't be needed to watch channels as you said.

The most amazing thing is that you can buy data at 300naira per Gig when you exhaust your Gig.

TSTV, here I come.
Someone said that 20gb has been reduced to 10gb. Did the customer service confirm this to you?
