I was awed by the provision made by EVERY institution/organization here in the uk. seems. like it is a norm, there's no where you go to that does not have access for the physically challenged, including taxis. It got me thinking about Nigeria for the past few weeks, we have a very long way to go.

Chime’s aide urges participation in American Visa Lottery

BY Tony Edike

ENUGU—Special Assistant to Enugu State Governor on Special Projects and Diaspora Matters, Mr. Dom Emeka Ezeudu, Wednesday, urged people of the state to take advantage of the American Diversity Visa Lottery, to better their lot.

He disclosed that the 2013 Visa Lottery programme which commenced on October 4, would end on November 5.

In a statement issued in Enugu, Ezeudu said applicants should only apply at the official website www.dvlottery.state.gov, explaining that there was no charge for downloading and completing the Electronic Diversity Visa Entry Form.

He pointed out that some fraudulent websites posing as the official programme website had been charging application fees to complete the entry form. He advisd applicants to beware of such websites.

Beaf:
Dunce. You just try very hard to hate on GEJ and talk nonsense. The Senator makes it very clear that his questions were in the 6th senate, which was Yar Adua's tenure, only a fool or serpent would allude to GEJ's "reforms" during Yar Adua's tenure. One day, you will get tired of lying sha.

Most tellingly, the man put the blame for the NNPC Act squarely on the military. But for you, GEJ created NNPC and all manner of fuckery you are suddenly alive to in your crusade of deception. Rubbish.

Here is your own quote again, in case you diddn't read it before posting it.
who saw out Yar adua/GEJ's tenure?stop passing the blame

Politics › Re: Jonathan Is Clean, Honest – Wikileaks Quotes El-rufai by dustydee: 9:08am On Oct 09, 2011
These disclosures are in sharp contrast to the virulent and disparaging attacks by former minister on President Jonathan whom he is accusing of corruption, profligacy and mismanagement of the nation’s resources.

In one of his recent tirades against the President, El-Rufai alleged that he used “crony capitalist and state funds – variously estimated at between 1 and 2 billion dollars to facilitate his election”

He also accused Jonathan of “practically sharing out the nation’s savings account to state governors, Party apparatchiks and traditional rulers to buy their support for his presidential bid”
The comments were made before the 2007 elections. Now that GEJ is the president things have changed. He said GEj used state funds for his electoral campaign this year not 2007. wetin concern 2007 and now? He may have been honest at that time but what about now? Also, he never stated that he did well as a governor. It was just two criteria set by lord OBJ(Honesty- which is subjective and Ijaw). I long for the day Nigerians will elect their leaders based on ability and capacity to deliver rather than sentiments.

arsenefc:
What is a generator?

I live in London, I dont know what a generator is
a generator is what produces the power you use in London. Without power generators there will be no electricity. And as you know(which I doubt since you don't know what a generator is) most of our modern day devices such as electronics and the computer or phone you used to ask this question run on electricity. In Nigeria, instead of having a central generator in the power plants that generates electricity for everyone, the roles are reserved and virtually everyone has a generator at home and generate their own electricity, that way they don't have to rely on anyone and control when they have electricity.(it's kinda flexible but more expensive, we are richer than Londoners that's why we chose this option) I hope that answers your question? if it doesn't you can use google or wikipedia. ciao. wink

Devaluation means harder times for Nigerians. Our economy is import dependent which means prices of food like rice and other products will go up. Remove subsidy and more people will be thrown into poverty. Beaf must be feeding fat from this to be in total support.

US make sense o! and its guaranteed 75% of Nigerians will make it there with full determination & knowing the reason why you're there but in Nigeria thats another different story, the masses barely take their 3 square meal again and for how long poor man pikin would keep saying "e go beta?" does ones wey take am yesterday don die finish.

If anyone tryna convince you now that Nigeria is great that you should come back home, ask him/her does he/she has a good job to offer you in Nigeria? Shekinah!
How did you arrive at that figure? got the statistics? or do you mean 75% of your friends or village people?
