Yes it is possible. I know someone who paid online and went in for biometrics without roger. Of course the guys will not be happy but it is very possible but not at all NIS locations.

On VAT, I agree only with the part of the resolution calling for all parties to stay action till the matter is decided by the Supreme Court. On open grazing, it remained banned in Southern Nigeria. Livestock whatever is none of our business. Anybody that wants to go into cattle business should set up a ranch. It is as simple as that.

They know what they are doing. A good number of the Northern governors want power to shift to the South but they have adopted this position because of the word "MUST" used by Akeredolu. He, as an SAN, should have known better not to use that language especially when some Northern governors were already on record that power should shift to the South for fairness. In my opinion, that statement by the Southern Governors was unnecessary. Only the PDP was leaning towards a Northern candidate and that should have been left for the PDP governors. In the end I think they will come to a compromise and a Southerner will emerge, at least for the APC.

With that blackbox and depending on how your driving is, your insurance premium may increase. So for example, if you overspeed, blackbox will take note of it and tell insurer that you are a "risk" and then insurer could then adjust your premium accordingly.

The fact that you went to a restaurant and you were not charged VAT does not mean that other businesses in the state do not pay VAT. I am 100% certain that not all businesses in Rivers pay VAT. Your topic, I believe, is to stir up sectional sentiments. It is indeed to the detriment of the state to not maximise VAT collection. You will have a point if Jevenik in PortHarcourt charges VAT while the same restaurant in Maiduguri does not.

I can't say, you will need to make a freedom of information request to the home office but I will imagine that the medical and tech fields will be among the top.

Accept the offer, finish your studies and take up the job/switch visa. I believe the organisation making the offer know the applicant is on tier 4 and needs sponsorship hence the offer.
I know people who got offers with sponsorship just after the end of their 1st semester around January/February for September/October start.

Thats still some form of informal practical lessons, although I believe it's a risk and not advisable to do that without driving lessons especially when the rules and side if the roads for driving are different. We have seen how a US diplomat wife from America killed Harry Dunn and escaped punishment because of "diplomatic" status.

In the context of the discussion, he was referring to practical lessons in the UK and the fact that if you were driving in Nigeria, you must take practical lessons in the UK before you pass which is not true.

I know people that attempted and had to do 3-4 test before passing.

It is good advice for him/her to take driving lessons but to conclude that it is impossible to pass without taking practical lessons here is what I have an issue with. Your only evidence is based on the people you know (which is most likely less than 0.01% of Nigerians who used to drive in Nigeria and have passed their tests. There are excellent driving schools in Nigeria and some companies send their employees there for training. I also know someone who used their 1 year they are allowed to drive before converting to a UK license to get familiar with the roads and passed at first attempt without taking any practical driving lessons.

If it is not valued, why would your school admit you? I know a lot of Nigerians denigrate our degrees obtained from Nigerian universities but if you attended a decent university in Nigeria and earned your grades, you are good to go. The major issue we have is the inadequate facilities in our universities but given how much we pay, one can understand. Some of my MSc courses were what I had done in my undergrad days in Nigeria. I only struggled in the software/practical aspect.
The company employing you review your CV and see your qualifications. They then decide whether to proceed or not.
They know you are yet to complete your masters, they make you an offer so that you can concentrate on your studies.

I'm in same dilemma as my 1st degree is Agric Economics which I've never worked with but have obtained a diploma in HR via CIPMN. Currently work as an SAP HR Consultant but planning to go for MSc in HR to support the Diploma while the end goal is HRIS or HR Data Analyst. I'm on on a 6 months data analysis training.
Hope I'm on the right course so I don't enter UK and be stranded.

Personally an MSc in HR is not necessary. A lot of HR people in my former company did not even have a first degree. That data analysis training is what I would focus on and perhaps look for a related masters if I have to.

Personally I believe you should choose based on your interest and the course content but sometimes there are other considerations that people make including fees. Go through it and see which one appeals to you most. You do not need a masters degree to become a business analyst. An MSc in information systems can open several doors if applied.

What dupyshoo was saying is that she got her job before she finished her masters and she was giving you the tip on how to go about it. She didn't have to start the job until after the completion of her masters. That's the way it works most of the time. Before the introduction of PSW, most students complain they only have 4 months after their studies to look for sponsorship and it's inadequate, that is wrong. The UK gives you about 16 months to look for job. Your graduate job search starts in September when you resume and hopefully by January of February after your first semester exams, you would have gotten a job offer to start in September of that year. That leaves you to then concentrate on your studies (2nd semester and project). Most big companies advertise their graduate positions for the following year September start between September and December the year before. If you leave it late, the chances are that most of the positions will be filled already and the remaining ones may be companies that are reluctant to sponsor. I also got my Engineering role before I finished my masters and I know several others in my school too who got jobs aafter our first semester. Just make sure you utilise your schools' career services and open your eyes.

Please i did my biometrics on Friday,on my undergraduate certificate and waec,one of my names was omitted, however on my transcript,it was included and my passport has all three names , I did an affidavit ,but, the school rep(agent) that assisted me forgot to upload my affidavit for reconciliation of name. Should I be worried?

I would not worry about that at all. As long as you have not submitted any fake document, then you are good. For me, UK visa is about the easiest to get and inconsequential details like that should not affect you except if you have other things going on.

I feel IT is more of your experience/ professional certifications and personal projects you've done will be needed for you to even get a job not the degree certificate... my thoughts though being good at what you do in IT takes more time.. more especially when you are not in working in that field and coupled with lots of competition around.. I feel the competition in nursing and care jobs are lesser compared to IT field I can still do the IT thing as I've done some trainings in d past on graphics design, fortran 77 n 90, and Microsoft Azure AZ-900 which I started earlier this year but had to discontinue because of work load pressure... I've seen most job adverts for IT field they require you to know upto like 5 programming languages... it's not like nursing where you get to specialize in one field and grow there... mind you I'm not also scrapping IT line... but man if you reason am well how do I write my SOP when applying for admission as well as going for visa interview to convince dem I want to do IT when my background is ENGINEERING and even if I decide to switch after one degree in UK to IT ... how soon can job come as Bill's go dey build up

You don't need any SOP for most UK universities. The UK does not conduct visa interviews. Anybody that is interested can study IT related courses. If you need to, state why you chose the course.
IT is much more than coding. There are IT fields you can get into with 3months of training/study. If you insist on a masters, subjects like cyber security and Data science could give you a very good chance of getting a job.
