As for your question, some of them were my professors in school and some were colleagues at work. An in case you are wondering, they are not based in Nigeria but in the UK which most of you at COREN only dream of. By the way, I am COREN registered.

I am currently a 300 Level studying, I rarely see advert that says Bachelor Degree in Physics.

Physics is actually a very good course. You can be a scientist, engineer or a computer scientist. It is that versatile. I know a couple of physicists that are either engineers now or are computer scientists. The skills you acquire during your training is very useful for all the careers I listed above.

The car may be cheap but you need a driving licence and then you need to insure the car for the purpose which you intend to use it. Will your "hustle" cover the cost of owning and maintaining the vehicle while on a student visa? That will be tough in my opinion.

I very much doubt that. I know a lot of Nigerians here and I do not know any that started as an illegal here. If I extrapolate from my circle of friends and acquaintances in the UK, your statistics is way off. There are many Nigerians leaving Nigeria with work sponsorship visas. The truth is if you have special skills, especially IT, it is easier to move abroad and you do not need to cross the sea or abuse your visa conditions. You will be amazed at the number of opportunities out there for Nigerians. I did not know that even German companies recruit Nigerians from Nigeria until recently. If anyone is desperate to move, learn an in demand skill especially in IT and pore the internet for job opportunities, it might be easier and certainly more rewarding than being an illegal.

Indeed. My intention was not to stay behind but I was offered a job with sponsorship so was among the first set of people that got that class of visa.

One of the thing May tried to do also was for all international students to return home and to also reduce the amount of the numbers of international students but the PMs rejected as international students accounts for like 15% of the total UK GDP

She did that but also created a more difficult pathway for students to remain after their studies. That does not mean it is illegal or impossible for a student to remain post study after the scrapping of post study work visa. Yours truly was offered a pathway through that process, so it is not illegal as suggested by the other person.

The 2 year post study visa was scrapped and that's when the Tier 2 (General) visa started. I believe Justwise was in the UK before that came into force.
As for the guy that says the UK student visa condition is that "you must go back home", you need to read up a bit. The only people on student visa that I know are required to go back home are those on commonwealth scholarship or perhaps Chevening scholarship.

This is not true. Only the children of the elite(north &south) enjoy such privilege. Those of the poor (and a lot of them get scholarships), tend to return.

I sometimes regret moving abroad. God has been faithful to me and my family. Since we moved, I have not worked any menial job and own my own house and relatively comfortable but something about Nigeria keeps ringing in my head. May be it's where I come from (In the North), my people are generally not keen on living abroad indefinitely. I haven't moved back because I am yet to find something comparable to what I left before moving but I will start working on it in the coming months.

You need a tier 4 (Student visa)
From what I know, the UKBA website has an estimate of the visa application timeline based on your application location. I don't think you can change from a visitors visa to a student visa.
