A lady shares her disappointing experience of selling her property to relocate abroad for a better job. The lady posted a video on TikTok showing how she quit her banking job in Ghana and sold all her belongings to move abroad for a better job offer. According to her, after resigning from her banking job, she sold her properties after a travel agent promised her a COS for an MC in the UK. She emptied her savings and handed the money to the agent who was helping her get a Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) to enable her work in the UK but realized she was deceived by the agent who got her a cleaning job instead. She made the post on Ghana’s independence day and stated that the leaders should work for the betterment of their country so young people would not make hasty decisions to move abroad only to regret it later. In her words; “I quit my banking job in Ghana, sold my properties, handed my entire savings to an agent who promised me a COS for an MC job in the UK, only to realise on arrival it was a 5-year Morning cleaner(MC) job contract. What should I do?”

A Nigerian man has raised concerns on social media after his colleague lost access to his mobile bank, Grey account, where a $5,000 salary payment had been deposited. In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the man explained that his colleague was unable to access his funds after the payment was made. Upon contacting customer service, they were informed that a system glitch had occurred, resulting in the accidental deletion of the account—without any prior notification. Expressing frustration over the situation, he wrote: “Apparently, Grey can’t account for my colleague’s $5,000 salary paid into their account.” “Their excuse? They had a glitch a few days ago and deleted his account (without notifying him).” “Money was sent to his account, and now they’re saying they can’t account for it, while the poor boy is left stranded and about to be kicked out of his apartment.” “Please fix ASAP @greyfinance and @kingidee.” 💬 What’s your take on this situation? 👉 Join the Real Talk Lounge on Dysh and let’s discuss!

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to share his heartbreaking experience after discovering that his fiancée had been intimate with 32 men while they were together. His statement reads: “Good afternoon, Agba. I appreciate all you do for the men in this house. Let me get straight to my experience with women.” “I had a fiancée, and we had been dating for about three years. She lived close to me, and I often moved between my place, work, and sometimes her mother’s house.” “One day, she ran out of data and asked me to share my hotspot. I turned it on, and since she needed the password, she handed me her phone while she stepped into the kitchen to get food.” “As soon as I entered the password, WhatsApp messages started flooding in like a jet.” “One particular message caught my attention. It read:” “Her: “Do you remember I told you about my boyfriend? I saw him today, even though he told me he was traveling. I will show him pepper; I’ll poison his food tonight.” “Agba, since that day, I haven’t eaten at her place! I was in shock and kept wondering, *What did I do to deserve this?” “I had traveled for business since I work in real estate. Out of curiosity, I decided to go through her WhatsApp chats. What I saw nearly drove me mad—over 32 men sleeping with my fiancée!” “The craziest part was that she left my house for work around 8 a.m., but instead of going to work, she checked into a hotel near my place, Room 110. In one chat, she told a man, “I need sex badly,” and the guy responded, “But we had sex this morning?” She replied, “I know, but I just want more before I go home.” She even planned to buy condoms on her way to another man’s house after work, which she usually closed around 9 p.m.” “Agba, I nearly lost my mind.” “The final straw was when she told me she was at her brother’s house. Unknown to her, I was actually at her brother’s house that night. I called her on video, showing her brother on the screen. The moment she saw it, she ended the call and switched off her phone until the next morning. She later claimed, “Oh, my phone went off.” “Three weeks later, she told me she was pregnant. Agba, since that night I caught her, I hadn’t touched her! I just laughed and told myself, I’m done.” “That was how the relationship ended. Now, I just want to stay single and maybe have a baby mama—nothing more.” 💬 Want more juicy relationship gist like this? 👉 Join our exclusive Relationship Gist Group on Dysh! 🚨 Spicy stories, real confessions, and unfiltered advice await you!(Link in signature)

The Senate Committee on Ethics, Code of Conduct, and Public Petitions has dismissed the sexual harassment petition filed by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan against Senate President Godswill Akpabio. The committee chairman, Senator Neda Imasuen, made this known on Wednesday during a probe hearing at the National Assembly. Imasuen, who represents Edo South, stated that the petition was “dead on arrival,” citing a breach of Order 40 of the Senate Standing Orders. According to him, Akpoti-Uduaghan signed the petition herself instead of having it endorsed by another individual, making it procedurally invalid. He further noted that the issues raised in the petition were already before a court of law, making them subjudice and therefore beyond the Senate’s jurisdiction. Despite the committee’s scheduled hearing, Akpoti-Uduaghan failed to appear before the probe panel. The session, initially set for 2:00 p.m., did not begin until 2:58 p.m., as the committee chairman waited for both Akpoti-Uduaghan and Senate spokesperson Yemi Adaramodu. Do you think the petition was handled fairly? Should the Senate have addressed the allegations differently? Social media commentator, Daniel Regha took to X (Twitter) to share his two cents regarding singer Burna Boy’s recent scandal. Taking to his X (Twitter) page, Daniel stated that any man who lies to sleep with a lady doesn’t have class. Recall that there had been an outrage online following a voice call that was leaked where a socialite revealed that the Burna Boy promised to buy her a car but neglected her after he got what he wanted. Reacting to this, Daniel started that the singer jumping from one woman to another is not the flex that he thinks it is. Adding that society has normalized praising a man whenever he outsmarts a lady, and they were doing just the same to Burna and the lady he deceived. His tweet read; “Burna jumping from one woman to another isn’t the flex y’all think it is; Self-control is important, but today everyone is focused on who got played & who didn’t. When a man plays a lady, he’s called smart. But when a lady uses a man, she’s labelled as evil. Society with stup’d double standards. Any man who lies to sleep with a lady doesn’t really have class or level.” If you love gist, drama, and unfiltered opinions, you need to be in my Real Talk Group on the Dysh app. We’re breaking down the hottest topics, spilling the tea, and keeping it 💯 . Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, has urged Ekaette Akpabio, the wife of Senate President Godswill Akpabio, to stay out of the ongoing harassment allegations against her husband. In a recent Arise TV interview, Akpoti-Uduaghan accused the Senate President of advances toward her in his office and residence in Akwa Ibom. In response, Ekaette Akpabio dismissed the claims as false, describing her husband as a disciplined man and filing fundamental rights and defamation suits against Akpoti-Uduaghan. Reacting to Ekaette’s involvement, Akpoti-Uduaghan, through her lawyer Victor Giwa, issued a letter dated March 1, advising her to distance herself from the controversy. She described the situation as unfortunate, emphasizing that she never intended for the Senate President’s wife to be dragged into the matter. The letter reads in part: “Our client is not desirous of calling you out into the unfortunate saga concerning her allegations against the Senate President and wishes that you restrain yourself from delving into the obscene circumstances. While she has tolerated all the harassment from the Senate President, she was constrained to reveal the unfortunate torture and victimization she has endured in the Red Chambers.” Akpoti-Uduaghan further asserted that the allegations were personal to the Senate President, and she believes he can defend himself without his wife’s interference. “Our client has concrete evidence to substantiate her allegations. We will suggest that you leave the defense of the allegations for the Senate President to maintain your sanity and that of your family.” The senator’s letter reiterated that the matter remains strictly between her and Akpabio, urging Ekaette to focus on her well-being rather than becoming entangled in the controversy. Popular rapper and activist Ruggedman has shared his perspective on domestic violence in relationships. According to the music star, provocations that could lead to domestic violence are enough grounds for a breakup. Speaking in a recent interview with TVC, Ruggedman said: “I always tell any woman I intend to date that if she pushes me to the level where I think of hitting her, then it’s over. “ I say that because, for me to want to date someone, it means I’ve told her everything that triggers me. So, for you to now push that thing, it means you’re poking me. I would rather walk away than hit the person. “I once broke up with a lady because she pushed me in public when we were having a disagreement, despite my pleading with her to wait until we got home to settle the issue. “A lot of people in abusive relationships saw the red flags but remained in the relationship because of what they were benefiting. Also, some of them are afraid of leaving because of public opinion. It’s better to leave because if you die in an abusive relationship, people will still talk.”

The link will take you to the website so all you have to do is search for article “The truth about skipping meals” and you’ll see it there. Can’t put it here directly because Nairaland bans it |
Let's be honest-skipping meals has practically become a survival skill for many of us. Whether it's waking up too late for breakfast, a tight budget, or just forgetting to eat during the chaos of school, work, or that side hustle, skipping meals happens. But while it feels like skipping meals is part of the Gen Z experience, it's not exactly ideal for our physical or mental health. So, let's talk about how to deal with this safely and responsibly. The Struggle is Real Picture this: you've got classes and deadlines, and your boss just threw an unexpected project at you. The next thing you know, it's 5 PM, and all you've consumed is meat pie and vibes. Sound familiar? Studies show that skipping meals can lead to low energy, brain fog, and mood swings. But we've all been there. Between high living costs and the pressure to hustle harder, eating sometimes feels more like a luxury than a necessity. But here's the truth: your body isn't designed to go for long periods without fuel. It can mess with your blood sugar levels, digestion, and even your focus. Plus, it might make you binge on junk food later, which isn't great either. If You're Going to Skip, Do It Smarter Sometimes, skipping a meal is unavoidable, and that's okay. But here's how to manage it without completely wrecking your body: 1. Hydrate Like Your Life Depends on It: Water is your bestie. Staying hydrated can help curb hunger pangs and keep you energised. Add a slice of lemon or a splash of juice for flavour if plain water feels boring. 2. Stock Up on Snacks: Keep easy-to-carry snacks on you, like wheat or granola bars, nuts, or even dried fruit. These give your body quick energy without requiring much effort. If you’d like to read more about this article then read it all on Dyshus webpage
