otokx: The interesting part is the rejection of him by Prime hospital. If they knew or suspected merely by just obsering him then he himself should have known when his "friend" came calling.
It doesn't work that way.

The diplomat was not showing haemorrhagic symptoms unlike the doctor who was.
PoliticsRe: Ibadan Isn't, Lagos Is The Largest City In Africa. by eaglechild: 10:58pm On Aug 28, 2014
Lagos is a city state.

Just like Singapore or London Paris etc.

All of Lagos state can be considered a city.

When mention is made of Lagos today, it refers to the metropolitan area comprising the island and mainland etc.

No doctor with such a successful private practice in a place like PH will risk his life and that of his family, as well as his license to do such.
Sahara reporters is given to twisting stories to make it more sensational and palatable.

PoliticsRe: Fleeing Nigerian Army Ran Out Of Ammunition by eaglechild: 12:24am On Aug 28, 2014
Guerilla warfare sucks.

I remember one of the Chibok girls that escaped clearly stating that she recognized some of the men herding them into the trucks as LOCALS.

That to me tells the whole story.

You need to get around more often before making such categorical statements.

Of course Abiriba is nice but there are also many towns in Anambra just like it.

AllahCock: Shekau. If Buhari can run so can he.

El Rufai. Only after he wins the WBC Heavy Weight belt.

Bola Tinubu. He needs several organ transplants including a new brain afterwards he is good to go.

Saraki. Daddy is long dead and Nigeria is bigger than Kwara!

Pat Utomi. It takes more than a hand gesticulator to be a President. He could not even manage a bank and that is what we expect of him most.

Momodu. Nigga Please!

Kwankwaso. Only if Almajiri Republic is formed.

Fashola. Lame Duck. He can't even nominate a Councillor in his ward for LGA position.

Amaechi. Yaba left is missing an inmate.

PoliticsRe: Titans Of The East, T.A Orji Included:photos by eaglechild: 9:50pm On Aug 27, 2014
Collynzo16: Umuahia looks good, I have no idea why the man abandoned Aba.
Aba residents also share some blame with their habit of dropping refuse indiscriminately.
Abia needs Ihejirika
Any governor that neglects Aba is a joker.

Aba is the most important city in Abia and has the potentials to boost the state and indeed the region's economic status.

Look at what Obi/Obiano is doing to Onitsha, if you put a task force in place, and provide dumpsters in every vicinity. No one will dump refuse indiscriminately.

Please anyone who has time should scratch off T. A. Orji's face from that poster. angry
PoliticsRe: Milverton Avenue Constructed By Abia Governor . by eaglechild:
Ngwakwe: All these I too know some people exhibit online is worrisome .
Abians has never voted for T. A. Orji ever, it has always been arranged in Abuja.
Even Orji Kalu told T.A his estranged godson not to recontest then in 2011 because of his poor record and loss of touch with the people.
The problem of Abia State especially Aba is Ngwa-phobia and na for there the State go die.
I pray and cry make God touch the NASS to approve the creation of Aba State to help end this misery once and for all time.
Abians will continue to suffer if they do not let go of such primitive clannishness and vote for the right person to rescue that state from the abyss.

Abia has witnessed 16 years of terrible governance and anymore of such will render the state moribund.

I know of people who have permanently relocated their businesses because of poor infrastructure and security(has improved).

I feel very happy anytime i see this type of thread on Abia state, they need all the exposure.

superstar1: State is artificial division, the people, the race, the thnicity remains yorubas -- from ore to saki, igbomina to lagos -- we are all oduduwa descendants.

As much as i do not have a stake in sambisa forest or red mud, likewise none has a stake in ours.
cheesy grin grin
You are soooo desperately trying to claim Lagos.

Every SWesterner is from Lagos.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria: Its Zonal Populations And Zonal Economic Contributions by eaglechild: 12:13am On Aug 27, 2014
superstar1: Laughing in Efik and Lagos is the Atlantic portion of alaigbo?

Where is the technical expertise and skills that is not showing in your land and not stopping the daily movement of able bodied men in Young shall Grow to our region?

I repeat, our best brains remain our soil, while your best are in divine assignment --- assisting to build our economy.
Why then did you leave Osun and go to Lagos?

Are you from Lagos state?

People tend to migrate where there is less competition and more room for there trade/services.

Eg Traditional medicine sellers from let's say Osun will not migrate to Ondo because there is already a glut of that trade, but will rather go to Imo state.

The variety of services provided by SEasterners in other parts of country simply shows the abundance of expertise, whether you call it best brains.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria: Its Zonal Populations And Zonal Economic Contributions by eaglechild: 11:52pm On Aug 26, 2014
superstar1: Get offended over issues such as this. Funny you, are you a learner on NL.

The fact remains, the pure water sellers, gala sellers in traffic, etc remain SEasterners. I will also reiterate, our best brains remain our land, while the dregs on the lowest part of our societal ladder, will be found in your land. Your best brains are under going tutelage on our land. Copy that.
Your sudden outburst of "curses" suggest otherwise.

I was simply trying to point out facts.

In any case, it's alright for you to let out the steam.

Like I said, you cannot really offer what you do not have.
The abundance of skilled manpower and expertise in the SE, makes it difficult for someone from Adoekiti or Oshogbo for instance to fit in.

I mean apart from the aforementioned ( traditional medicine, taxi driving perhaps tailoring), they cannot compete.
There is nothing wrong with driving a taxi or selling medicine(unless it kills) because it is an honest way to make a living much better than taking to crime.

Most Igbo in the SW are in Lagos, a city which also attracts just as much immigrants from Oshogbo, Ekiti, Ondo etc, therefore, I see no big deal.
TravelRe: Ogun State Development. by eaglechild: 11:38pm On Aug 26, 2014
I do not understand why most projects from APC governors have this seedy look.
Fashola that previously stood out seems to have also joined the bandwagon.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria: Its Zonal Populations And Zonal Economic Contributions by eaglechild: 11:24pm On Aug 26, 2014
superstar1: So it is the 100 metre dash gala selling people, that have the requisite skills. i am laughing in kamikaze. The Yazidis have the requisite skills that is why they are emigrating to Kurdistan?

Bros, your land is cursed and does not have anything to offer, that is why you are emigrating to that land of prosperity, Shikena. Your best brains are in our land and our worst are in yours. Dont you understand? This is simple logic.
You don't have to get angry at the truth.

All SE towns are home to many traditional medicine practitioners from the SW.

I even forgot to mention, PH taxi driving business is almost monopolised by the SW.

No need to get offended about people making an honest living(apart from perhaps the patent agbo sellers).

vanbonattel: For the four hours I spent at the front of Icc this evening while coming back from my maternal parents house.
Thank goodness you have pictures.

I simply pointed a huge flaw and came under attack as a Rochas hater by people who have absolutely no idea what is happening in Owerri.
TabletMan: Its obvious u don't know owerri or the place where this ICC is sited.
On a normal day, there is always a traffic gridlock on that road(warehouse).
I am not in owerri now but I am dead sure that traffic on that road will be like mad.
The pix you're showing as the road that leads to the ICC is the road to freedom square.
Check the third pix and see that the ICC is by the side of the road, check am wella, u will see a white car, that's the front of the ICC .
Paragonova: @ op, do you stay in Owerri?
Witness the traffic gridlock caused by locating centre of such magnitude @ an important junction and the multiple effects of such a decision to cut off this road
Bank Road is as important as wethral and douglas roads
Rochas erred in siting thx centre here and hosting such an event which brings thousands together knowing Owerri is more of a two way route in and out.
Five days of untold hardship.. Rochas guffed! See Old men and women trekking and lamenting, civil servants lamenting and even the lawyers themselves suffering too.. Too bad
It is good I also have unbiased witnesses.
