R.Fella:Why would an average Briton or American go to Canada for university education? |
kalokalo: Nigerian medical professionals are so clueless and vision-less. What stops hundreds of doctors from coming together, pool resources and expertise and found world class hospitals that will meet the needs of any medical specialty needed by patients in Nigeria? Must they wait for the government to do everything considering that the government is peopled by just as clueless folks as the average Nigerian? The best hospitals in the world are partnerships from as many as 500 doctors (Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, MD Anderson etc)Bullocks! Health is a different kettle of fish. How many Nigerians can afford EKO hospital bills? Maybe 1% Don't be deceived, it is still those people who go to India. We should focus on providing good facilities in govt hospitals and health insurance for the populace. If health care professionals take loans and set up "world class hospitals", perhaps malaria treatment could cost as much as 50k. You will still come back and accuse them of being elitist. The most useful benefit of carrying a European passport is "free" medicare. |
It is very surprising that almost no one has come out to clearly condemn this act which further gives a bad name to Nigeria. Instead people are busy suggesting solutions to a crime. If it is Okoro, Okeke, or Sambo and Aminu. All hell will have been let loose. Bigots. |
0monnakoda: At the person who said he does not eat congealed oil . The truth is oils that are artificially hardened by hydrogenation are used in the food industry in foods like biscuits, bread, cakes and pastries almost always. People eatig these food rarely think they are eating fat but they are. Refined and deodorized to enhance palatability these fats are ubiquitous. Palm oil is natural and in my view safer than butter or lard which are widely used in baking. The other thing is interest groups promote and champion research that favours them.Correct. |
Ewarrior: Look.. All wot u av listed is just attending to one half of d problem and leaving d oda half to decay,You sound like a naughty witch. The guy took time to list all her achievements and this is the thrash you come up with? |
Pukkah: Your argument is pointless and baseless. Your reasoning is unpatriotic (Nigerian/Biafran) and ungodly. Some ignorant folk somewhere reading your posts may actually think you are sincere. We all know better. |
anonimi: The issue not whether she uses bullet proof car or not.I'll think about what you wrote. Ehe, Who authorized the transaction? What is the worth of the car? if it is truly over invoiced then it is wrong. |
dbride: Another sheep brain here comparing his/her 'bloody' MD in a corporate org with civil service. Ok, the two bulletproof cars are even parked at the minister's house in VGC Lekki while she is in Abuja. Does your 'bloody' MD park his in his village while he uses other car to and from work wherever you may be? Btw, who compelled you to comment?Pls my MD is working for the federal govt of Nigeria so shut it! I repeat it is NO BIGGIE. |
Every minister uses bullet proof cars so what is the big deal? Even my bloody MD that you've never heard of uses a bullet proof car worth over 50 million. |
ihimami: It is because of this kind of situation that I like my Audi A6 brands and my previous 2003 VW Passat. I have had a lot of experiences of tire burst on top speeds without my heart jumping out. In 2010 I recommended and help my friend bought 2003 VW Passat and they have cause to thank God for saving their life because as he was travelling to KD from Abuja in his Passat at a speed of 170k/h, when suddenly he said he heard a noise like as if the tire pick something. By the time he stop the car and came down he discovered it was the front tire that had busted, in fact, he called me immediately to thank me for recommending the car to him. Most Nigerians shy away from these German models because of supposed high maintenance cost in favour of Japanese models which has less safety features. To me safety comes first before any consideration for cost of maintenance.Burst tire at 170km/hr I hope you know that car is front wheel drive Looks like you have more of it to sell ![]() |
Venchy: You are living in denial by your comments. You are quoting me out of context. It is faster to get cleared if you travel to Nigeria with your Nigerian passport. I mean when you get into Nigeria, there is a separate line for Nigerians which is express, other nationals have a separate line. I have never had any trouble getting into Nigeria with my green passport. |
jammyunn: Not only Japan, but also Brunei, Singapore and San marino.YES Thanks |
Anyway the Japanese are the only nationality that do not require a visa to China. I figure in today's world that is the most valued passport. Forget all the Euro hype. See link below http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-24357407 |
Blue Magic: I remember traveling 2 Nigeria with my Nigerian passport. At the airport people with US passport were being given preferential treatment. Even in Nigeria they dont respect the nigerian passport. Never again will I use the nigerian passport.NA LIE when was that? Currently if you travel with with your Nigerian passport, you don't get to queue up. Please stop giving wrong info ![]() |
Go Ghana! |
Do not trust them. Esp the ones who carry phony computers about, claiming to be able to diagnose all forms of ailment. They are all quacks. |
eaglechild: Very despicable act.Reverse Psychology ![]() |
I guess the mods have gone for Sallah holidays. Many ill bred children running amok on this thread. |
Nothing beats natural beauty. |
What is this? ![]() Private vocational university? Must she put university behind? She is simply opening a vocational centre. Nigeria is yet to recover from the proliferation of substandard glorified secondary schools esp in the SW (like Tai Solarin, OOU etc) Now she wants to add Iyalode vocational centre abi university. She should focus on learning how to apply make up in a less scary manner, not something over her head. |
Thanks for the verification. Not to mind; All these aproko and Osun defender-like charlatan-press, spreading unconfirmed reports from overzealous Jakande schooled eyewitnesses. Mscheeeeew! |
I can only image the state of mind the parents are in. I have this urge to help corp members, whenever I meet them. I hope she recovers soon. Corp members should endeavor to have something on that easily identifies them. This could make all the difference. |
Very despicable act. This thread however, will NEVER EVER EVER, make it to the front page. EVER. And we all know why. |
adconline: Naija and their first in Africa mentality. Build the damn hospital! South Africa has a lot of cancer centersI mean what is this sickening addiction to branding everything first. Can't one just build a project and keep shut about it without ridiculous lies. Africa does not span from Abeokuta to Odogbolu. ![]() |
What do we believe? Aproko news or the airline? Some peeps will soon come to tell us how Stella bewitched the landing gear. |
OJORO OJORO OJORO OJORO OJORO OJORO OJORO OJORO OJORO I NO SEND. |
We just woke up |
40 degrees heat. This is what the Europeans are trying to avoid in Qatar. They don't want countries like Ethiopia winning the world cup. This is not 10,000m race. |
What in the world is Keshi wearing? He looks like a unpaid HPE teacher. |
What are super eagles doing? |
This is a wonderful thread. Tonye, pls continue. I'm itching to see how it all comes to an end. |
