OK o. I would like to discuss Enugu. Don't you think is ripe for Enugu to appoint someone from either Kano or Ondo as commissioner, in the spirit of integration?
Absolutely, and it has actually been done before.

Like I said Enugu, Ekiti or Zamfara for example are not as diverse as Lagos.

Political set ups should reflect the innate diversity of a place and Lagos is a shining example of a thriving diversity that should be nurtured in order to encourage others.

You'll never know!

And that's why we Yorubas have been agitating for ibos to throw their 'huge' weight and voting strength behind the ibo APGA ibo candidate as a true test of their population in Lagos.

Insecure, cowardly ibos wont budge. They'll rather queue for deputy governorship slot under Jimi Agbaje which they will never get in millennia to come.
Ok
I can safely assume that it is a figment of your imagination.

Thanks.

You did not answer my question. You parried it. I asked you the same question twice by just rephrasing it but still you couldn't answer it.

1. There is not a single state or city in Nigeria that is not multi-ethnic. So, it's not a Lagos thing. Kano is also multi ethnic and Enugu is equally multi-ethnic. Why can't we ask those states to follow the example of Lagos? Why can't Kano appoint a commissioner from Oyo and Enugu appoint from Ekiti? Are there no Ekiti and Oyo people living and contributing to the development of those states? And if those states refuse to toe the line of Lagos, why not commend rather than condemn Lagos state?

2.How many ethnic groups are in Lagos that are not in Port Harcourt or Kano? Which ethnic group can you find in Lagos but can't find in any other state? How exactly is Lagos the most multi-ethnic state? Is that your opinion or a fact?

3.The political structure in Lagos already reflects what it should be. Or what should it reflect?
We need not repeat each other.

My statements have been clear and the same.

I did not single out anywhere, I simply stated that every Nigerian should be free to occupy any position anywhere from Lagos to Oshogbo to Enugu. I went further to suggest that since Lagos is the most multi ethnic it should naturally lead the way.
You are the one bent on making it all about Lagos.

Of course Lagos being the most diverse means it should also have the most diverse political set up.
One may not have the same expectations for Ekiti or Zamfara but i hope we will get there someday.

Yorubas cant be less than 70-75% of Lagos population.

Both Yoruba and English language are used freely in public institutions/facilities/services in Lagos.
Facts are not established by throwing tantrums.

But that's happening in Lagos already. Akabueze is not from Lagos but he is holding a position in Lagos. So, Lagos is a leader already. Isn't it?

Perhaps I need to ask you obvious questions to help our understanding.

The Yorubas are dominating Lagos politics. Is that bad? If yes, why?
I am glad i have answered your question (all rather pointed out its irrelevance)

Your first sentence is exactly where we should be heading and i am talking of an even wider net to represent all the diverse groups.

Your last question is also answered by the same statement. Lagos is a large cosmopolitan state and the most multi ethnic and as such its political structure should reflect that don't you think so?

Anyone should be able to hold any post anywhere, and where better to start than the center of excellence Lagos the most multi ethnic state that should be a leader in the process.

The bolded says anyone and anywhere (from Enugu to Oshogbo to Ilorin to Kano), which makes your singling out of Lagos irrelevant.
It only suggests that Lagos being the most multi ethnic should naturally take the lead.

An Hausa man should be able to be governor and an Igbo man should be able to be commissioner of works. No ethnic group should dominate that is the beauty of integration.

We are simply talking about integration and national unity, what has that got to do with arrogance and ungratefulness.

That is what I called a primitive black man idea of self-aggrandizement. It is nauseating people are creating territories when there is need for unity among humans in advancing humanity.

I can't seem to understand why you so much have to fashion a scene of dividing the people and ask for mutual respect. It never worked that way. Mutual respect comes from a scenario where there is unity and trust. There is no way people who don't trust each other are going to have respect that you are asking for. What you said is typical of average African person. I cannot believe a well read Yoruba person in a developed country is still having such a primitive mindset. These are the same things which give rise to many bad vices like supremacy, abusing other people's rights, cultural narcissism, fanaticism, hate, crimes, etc. Nigerians haven't learn from those who passed through such conditions in the past. The Nazi Germany institutionalized such practices and we have seen the devastating effects on humanity. Yet you are here talking about them. What a shame on you! I am not going to be a part of hate and look down on other tribes because I think they don't belong in my territory. That ignorance you are shipping in is xenophobic in nature. Please, stop the nonsense and find better solutions.

PoliticsRe: The Crime Of Buhari Against Nigeria Prof Wole Soyinka By Sahara Reporters by eaglechild: 10:50pm On Dec 28, 2014
Prominent against these charges was an act that
amounted to nothing less than judicial murder, the execution
of a citizen under a retroactive decree. Does Decree 20 ring a
bell? If not, then, perhaps the names of three youths - Lawal
Ojuolape (30), Bernard Ogedengbe (29) and Bartholomew
Owoh (26)
do. To put it quite plainly, one of those three –
Ogedengbe - was executed for a crime that did not carry a
capital forfeit at the time it was committed.
