Why hasn't the DG been prosecuted? It took them how many days to come up with these cooked up story. Goodluck Ntoooor. Even the crimes being committed under this administration will somehow be traced back to GEJ, because he was too weak to take a stand. |

Is it a Chinese loan?....and how would the factory expand the local industry?....do you have any idea why the factory in Aba would be given the contracts instead of those in Mexico etc?.... and is this what Aba is looking forward to?...to have giant foreign owned factories?..Really?...is this something to make you proudly beat your chest?.... or shouldn't it really make you bow your head in shame? The first time they came and took us away as slaves in foreign lands..... now we have gone away to invite them to make us slaves in our own land. History has a way of repeating itself. Sanchez01: We don't need them to agree. The main reason they have been unfazed about restructuring is because we have not come out as one to voice out on this. Every region in this country is blessed, regardless, and we just have to look for a better way to making sense out of the madness we call democracy. The bolted is the very reason it won't be achievable. At least not yet. |
Politics › Re: Anambra State During The War (pix) by eagleeye2: 6:00pm On Apr 14, 2017 |
Sanchez01: Our call should be something much more similar but sophisticated than the Aburi Accord - True Federalism and Resource Control. Until then, we might just be running in a vicious cycle. In the end, we all remained casualties. This part really sounds funny to me. How in heaven's name are the powers that be going to agree to RESTRUCTURING (I guess that is what you are alluding to)... Anyway this thread has been successfully derailed for any meaningful argument. |

Car Talk › Re: What Tools Do You Carry In Your Car? by eagleeye2: 7:52am On Apr 11, 2017 |
adanny01: If you drive a car 5 years and older, you may have the need to prepare for the inevitable breakdown. Your car should be out of warranty and for this Naija, it will cost an arm and both legs to have your car towed to the workshop. Some problems are worth 2 mins troubleshoot with right tools, why wait for an hour or more for an experienced mechanic or tow truck. The mechanic you may find around may do more harm than good. Besides, a break down on the highway is dangerous these days so you might wanna get back to speed before kidnappers come calling.
For me, driving a 14 year old car, i have some tools to help myself. The picture below shows how prepared i am. These tools are cheap for one to can start buying with N100.
Some are essential while others not so essential.
The list includes 1. Flat wrench 8 - 22 (i suggest buy flat/ring 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 17, 19, 22) 2. Flat/ring spanners 14 and 17 (i lost 10 and 12) 3. Combination of 8, 9, 10 pipe wrench 4. 8 and 10 pipe wrench 5. Socket wrench handle and long extension with 10, 12, 14, 16, 16 long (for spark plug) and 17 socket (i need short extension, you may have to know the size of plugs in your car usually, 14, 16, 17 and 19) 6. Pliers 7. Utility knife 8. Small philips (start) and flat head screwdrivers (i lost the flat) 9. Changeable philips and flat tester screwdriver 10. Screwdriver with 6 changeable flat and phillips heads 11. Vernier caliper 12. Feeler gauge 13. electrical insulating tape 14. old spark plugs (lost 1) 15. old serpentine belt 16. electrical wire strands (make sure you have spares of fuses although there are instances the wire will be necessary) 17. flash light 18. DC charger/usb 19. Cork opener and knife (this has been very useful) 20. 3.5m measuring tape 21. The bag i store most of them
Lets see what tools you got in your. I have some of these, but each time I visit the mechanic and come back, I find myself looking for one or more of my tools. I'm tired of replacing the stolen ones. |

jollymizzle: the same Fela you quoted was a Yoruba man, beko ransome kuti was a Yoruba man. International thief thief he wrote against MKO and Obasanjo is not in anyway related to the struggles of nadeco. Many of you come here to insult the Yoruba pple forgetting we sacrificed and lost the most for the sake of democracy. No one else did as much as we did . and I can say that anywhere with proof. I won't rubbish the contribution of other greats but the useless kids who come online and shout "Yoruba are betrayers" must be made to realize how stupid they sound Nobody is dragging the Nadeco struggle with the Yoruba. Infact, this thread is all about what Bamaiyi said and not Igbo vs Yoruba. I made my opinion known and you didn't agree with it, that is the reason for this back and forth. |
Politics › Re: Bamaiyi: How NADECO Leaders Betrayed Abiola by eagleeye2: 11:32am On Apr 03, 2017 |
jollymizzle: abegi, you don't have proof and you are making such grievous accusations, anyway I didn't insult you and I also challenge you to point out how I did that. Unverified statements like the one you made is what is tearing nigeria apart. Abiola was elected by not just the yorubas but igbos and hausas too, he never made such statement that he didn't need the igbos. Yorubas were at the forefront in the struggle for democracy and many paid with their lives, or went to prison. We did more than enough, if you can't appreciate that, don't insult us with lies such as that quote. It's divisive and cruel I doubt the arrow heads of ABN will agree with you. I don't even want to mention Fela's song "International thief thief". I assume you won't by any chance know who Fela was referring to. |
Politics › Re: Bamaiyi: How NADECO Leaders Betrayed Abiola by eagleeye2: 11:23pm On Apr 02, 2017 |
jollymizzle: i challenge you to provide proof that this was said by abiola if you dont know what to say shut up and pedlling falsehoods here. We still remeber the roles arthur nzeribe and uche chukwumerije, humphery nwosu, daniel kanu played. Nadeco the coaalition at the forefront in our struggle for democracy the you are enjoying today was populaled mostly by yorubas. You better thank your stars for people like rear admiral ndubusi kanu and pa enahoro your pple would have been know as enemies of democracy. Insults don't really move me. Actually what he said was "I can do without the Igbos".... I may not have proof right now, but any person keen on Nigerian Political history will concur with what I wrote. Igbos are already seen as enemies of democracy. ... so it ain't new. |
