Well done Yoruba Elders for being honest and having the gut to correct Buhari on where he has been getting it wrong for long. History will remember that you spoke the truth as it matters and when it matters, not tomorrow some of the silent ones today will come out to speak, then it doesn't matter again. |
Buhari to speak to Nigerians on matters of urgent attention is like asking for a favour from a king. And this is democracy ooo! |
Sub Saharan Africa refused to forge a success pathway for itself because the people can't see the big picture. We are too busy with religions, elite-worshipping, and other frivolities than to apply our brains to emancipate ourselves. Our best brains are often relegated to the back in leaderships and administrations, while the inept and thugs are elevated beyond their abilities. The gifted brains are frustrated out of the African continent to the Western world, and the cycle continues. No human values nor sustainable general value system to anchor on. And we become and remained the poorest in the world. |
How many times will they explore oil in that basin. Oil must be striked by force to satisfy the man behind the mask. |
I wasn't disappointed. |
I can feel this man. It is disappointing and shameful how Nigerian government treats its citizens. Too much corruption, greed and wickedness to fellow citizens. No check and balances. Zero enforcement of the law unless you speak against them. |
Why do we like recycling leaders when we know their weaknesses. So we never learn from our past mistakes. Let's look for a reformist who can change the status quo. |
buckeyemedia:What exactly is your point? |
If it is by that logic, then Buhari should resign first, after all he is the commander in chief aka chief security officer of Nigeria. |
PDP is not good in opposition. Weak and clueless. Its chairman is just like Buhari, "just sidon dey look". PDP haven't put their acts together to ride over APC whose outing to Nigerian leadership is a disaster. It is supposed to be a walkover for PDP but with what this PDP man is saying, hmmmnnn |
Really? Three months to choose a successor? Is Buhari not aware that the IGP retirement was near few months ago. Is this Buhari for real? |
No smoke without fire. Something is definitely wrong. |
Lagos legislators sef, how did some of them get elected? So the sins of sons and daughters are on parent's head abi. How? |
You see why Nigeria project is a farce. We are inherently different in beliefs, views and culture. How is it that we have coexisted like this for decades? |
This is asking for disaster. |
Sex or sexuality is one single thing that have re-defined the world. Humanity keeps on pushing boundaries and exploring sexuality to indescribable depth. It is one thing that has brought mighty men down. Unfortunately without it there will be no procreation but in excess or extreme of it, moral red lines are crossed. Be careful on what you copy. |
They've started packaging him like they did to Buhari. Lagosians it's up to you. |
Moribund refinary that would have been disposed many years ago. It's now a waste pipe. |
Corruption will never allow that Peter Obi version to see the light...already there are vested interest in the N400 billion version. They won't allow Peter to spoil their market. But thinking introspectively, that's exactly how opposition party should work. Give the electorates a convincing alternatives rather than just making dry statements. A kind of shadow government! |
We have descended so low in this society that the sanctity of human life is so badly trampled upon. |
Buhari should rise to the occasion and tame the tide of mistrust, violence and carnage going on. It will become even more difficult to control if this is allowed to fester for long. |
Let's keep on repeating the same mistakes over and over again until it is all over. Cest Fini. |
A lawless society where political or monetary power is equal to being god. What's the law for? |
Until it is proven that the herdsmen causing death and economic havoc to farmers in the south are all non-fulanis, then the issue of "demonising fulani" is infantile. |
What's the killings for? |
Death too many in this make-believe world of theatrics. This man should not be let to die. The actors guild should look into getting mandatory insurance for its members or some kind of pension or charity help money pot. |
If government can't control the herdsmen's unrelenting impunity then the fingers should be pointing to them instead, not individuals or groups that resort to self help to protect themselves. I mean, what are government for if they can't guarantee the safety of it's citizen at home. |
I'm deeply disappointed by current APC government's behaviour toward criticism. They dissipate so much energy in denial, twisting and defending the indefensible. Is it that they all lack sense or what? |
For me, "Igbos are Igbos"...from Ikwo(Ebonyi) to Idah(Benue) to Agbor(Delta) to Etche(Rivers) and a tiny part of Cross River and AkwaIBOM, they all have common ancestry. |
Irredeemable sycophants who called themselves leaders, fanning the Amber's of a despot. APC ruined Nigeria. |
Garuba Shehu again trying in vain to defend the indefensible. Sorry your Boss Buhari has disappointed Nigerians. Even his household couldn't believe it. He should try by any means to change his ways before it leads to total collapse of Nigeria. |
This Lamido sef is not making sense. |
