@evergie

Your point about banning the locally made vehicles before we test, drive, and compare them is very unfortunate. It points to the main reason why black Africans are backwards. I don't know your educational, political, and social background, but something is definitely wrong with your views about Nigeria.

@all
Secondly, I don't know why the thread is so labelled, but it for jest or justice? The name of the vehicle should not be a problem. Afterall Bavaria is a German tribe/region, the Bavarian Motor Works-BMW has never had a problem with marketing/quality/production.
In Nigeria, every region is endowed with unique qualities, so instead of fighting about the potential name of made-in Nigeria car, why don't we think about producing other things in naija?

How about a Warri-made submarine, Makurdi-made airplanes, and Sokoto-made satelite system, etc
PoliticsRe: Ibori Wins Against London Police, Recovers £35m Assets. Deltans Rejoice! by eagleu: 9:16am On Oct 02, 2007
That 35 million pounds= good roads, schools, hospitals, portable water, and government workers salary for delta people.

How else could he have made that much money while in office for the pst 8 years?

In China, you what could have happened to people like Ibori, Nnamani, etc?
PoliticsRe: Ibori Wins Against London Police, Recovers £35m Assets. Deltans Rejoice! by eagleu: 6:47am On Oct 02, 2007
So why are they rejoicing again?

Because, despite all the legal technicalities, Ibori still emassed property worth 35 million pounds- probably belonging to his own people who ironically are 'rejoicing' for having been robbed?

PoliticsRe: 60 million illiterates, 22 miliion blind. So what % is productive???? by eagleu: 5:29am On Sep 27, 2007
Surprised?

Why?

After so many years of being ruled by illitrate dictators, I'm even surprised illitracy is not higher in Nigeria.

Though he was not a dictator, Shagari started the downward turn in Nigerian educational standards.

Then Buhari, then the man the put the final nail on the Nigerian educational sysytem: Babangida.

He took Nigerians back so many years- educationally, that it would probably take long to reverse this ugly trend.

Babangida not only stole the June 12 election, but many did not also realise that he also stole our nations future to compete, educationally.

Yea, somebody recommended Paw-Paw to seeek help early on this thread.

Did he go? I doubt that he did.

Many things fit cause mental distress, such as :
1. Not getting a visa
2. Getting deported many times with different names
3. Being on not-wanted or no-fly list
4. Previous or current criminal record.

Check Osita's, sorry paw-paw's name as it applies.

@paw-paw

I did not say your wealth was an embarassment-- you wish.

I said 'it's disgusting hearing lie about your so-called imaginary wealth.

Once again, do you need help with visahuhhuhhuhhuh
TravelRe: Nigerians In Diaspora Carry Sh*t For A Living by eagleu: 11:10pm On Aug 17, 2007
@paw-pee

It's disgusting when you start boasting of your wealth.

No use, because your whole persona screams of frustration, anger, destitution, and of course petty jealousy.

Tell folks where it hurts, so that they can help you.

@paw-paw

There you go, Mr. Central Bank. Who you employ? Who go let you employ'em?

You just de waste time, instead of getting the best idea on how to get visa, you dey here trying to insult yourself.

evergie:
WillyWilly why would you open that your filty mouth to insult paw-paw? Pawpaw is clearly speaking the mind of most of us. How you out there send money home? no matter how rich they are. I was going a paper the other day and a line keep ringing bell in my head, that a nigerian researcher and a profound pioneer in moden internet have not come for the past 30 years and don't have a house in nigeria.

What a shame.
@evergie

Are you retarded?

What has not having a house in naija got to do this thread?

Not having a house in Nigeria by such persons(who developed the internet) may be because people like Paw-Paw in the guy's family simply rip him off any time he tries to invest or build a house in naija.

So much anger, so much misinformation, and so much wickedness by people like you and Paw-Paw against their fellow, but better faring Nigerians at home and abroad.

Go hit your coconut head head on the wall!
PoliticsRe: Naira To Be Re-Denominated by eagleu: 8:00pm On Aug 17, 2007
Can anyone please list the advantages of re-denomination.

The disadvantages are obvious:

1. Uncertainty of outcome

2. High rate of Illiteracy and confusion among naija people

3. Corruption and potential to fail as previously planned

4. Lack of desire to "actually" fight inflation by governmental agencies
TravelRe: Nigerians In Diaspora Carry Sh*t For A Living by eagleu: 6:02pm On Aug 17, 2007
All shit na shit.

Naija shit, American shit, British shit, Italian shit, South African shit- same shit.

Problem be: carry naija shit, and you go beg for your salary.

May be, you go carry more shit so that the previous shit way you carry go get paid for.

@Paw-paw, or whatever he calls himself, has never seen naija people waiting and begging for them salary after carrying shit all month long?
