stanluiz:Bless you. Many of them know it's IPOB, but they feign ignorance. |
proeast:We need to start calling out this group by their name. Ndigbo should stop sitting on the fence. The more we keep quiet, the more we embolden these terrorist. Even in the days of MEND, they dare not bring their madness into our region, let alone these low-budget thugs. Wike has done his part by uprooting them from Rivers, Uzodinma is only reactionary and needs to take the storm to the camp of these terrorists |
OneTemplate:Call them by their name IPOB and stop smearing the name of proud Igbos. Igbos take responsibility for their actions unlike IPOB fake zionist scammers. |
ESN/UGM Ohaji terror cell on the beat. They can continue with that madness in Imo but any mad man bringing that thing to Rivers will receive it hot. It's obvious these clowns are reading the textbook of MEND and want to replicate it in our region. How many development or oil companies have IPOB attracted to Egbema that these animals wants to chase the ones we have. |
Malawian:IPOB wants to leave Nigeria not Igbo people. You have no right to speak for over 50 million Igbos. Until you tell us when Ndigbo elected you our spokesman, you remain a terrorist group that no one takes serious. |
limeta:And you think so? IPOB made terrorist statements and backed them up with action. Evidence abound to nail the daft group. The DSS are not joking around. |
Serves IPOB right. All allies are gradually dissociating themselves from you, when you made yourself a terrorist group by following the orders of fake James Bond Nnamdi Kanu. He who vituperated fire and brimestone from his daft brain ended in jail. Ilana Omo Odua are smart group who understand that the only way Igboho can get his freedom, is by painting IPOB as the bad influence. |
Happy Birthday to a trailblazer. Wishing you a happy birthday Sir. Ogbuagu birikwe! Ogbuagu e ga di o. But sincerely Odili aside from not tackling cultism during his tenure did well for Rivers people. Amaechi actually continued from where he stopped and did better. |
So the Christians killed by the Fulani Muslims are not human beings. Sultan and his fellow old men are those who brought us to this level. You don't criticize when it affects others, but only when your primordial interest is involve. |
paramakina202:That’s how it always ends. Like Uwazuruike, like Kanu. Scammers using Biafra to chop from government. Asari Dokubo, Gani Adams and Tom Polo also got their settlement after much wahala. And that's one bad antecedent about this country. Law-abiding Nigerians get nothing from the government but those who break laws. They are millions of jobless graduates in this country and nothing for them to survive, but when it comes to terrorist groups, that's when the government sit up. I see Fulani herdsmen and bandits getting their rewards in future. |
paramakina202:I’m aware he did. Who knows if the dude is already negotiating his terms of release with the federal government and some zombie are here shouting “Biafla or death”. |
timesup234:America realized late that only the Afghan people should decide their future for themselves. No need wasting American taxpayers money or lives over a meaningless war in a land only productive of Opium and Jihadists. If the Afghani people aren't willing to protect their democracy, no one else will. The irony was that the people weren't even inclined to the democracy. Majority might want the Talibans gone, but not their Sharia way of life. |
Damisic:The fall of the puppet Afghan government is a pointer to this. |
A new dawn in Afghanistan It's no longer news that the Taliban have taken control of Kabul, signaling an end of the American two decades conquest of the land of hills and valleys. What began as sustained guerrilla warfare against the American-backed Afghan government, has now led to the reclamation of Kabul under Taliban rule and the fleeing of President Ashraf Gani to Tajikistan. Left to me this new regime won't stop there. I foresee the Taliban overrunning Pakistan and taking over government in few years from now. Pakistan will regret petting the tiger and will have no ally to run to for help. For the United States, they are already paying for their sins by arming the Taliban against the Russians in the 1980s. Of course, it's obvious that the British failed colonial interest against the Pashtun tribesmen made America delve into Afghan wahala by trying to reclaim her from the Russians, but ignorantly not understanding the history of the lands of valleys and hills contributed to what Americans are paying for today. $1 Trillion has gone down the drain trying to make Afghanistan a modern and democratic society. Below are the sins of America 1. Trying to stop the Opium trade. American’s forgot that the average Afghan are drug addicts, and largely depend on the farming of poppies to survive. It's like taking Garri from the diet of the average Nigerian. Besides drugs, Opium provides income to many Afghan homes and stopping it made a lot of them seek refuge from the Taliban. 2. Trying to enforce western democracy in Afghanistan. Afghans are used to Islamic jurisprudence and see democracy as alien. 3. Trying to build a central government. The average Afghani is first loyal to their tribe before the government. In the past, Afghanistan used to be characterized by Chiefdoms and Warlords controlling their territories, but the Taliban rule was the first to unite the control into one central government. By trying to unite the country and build a central leadership with a western system of government, America created problems that resulted in corruption, non-allegiance to Kabul, and mass alienation by the people to the government. 4. The formation of the Army and Police. Both the military and cops were corrupt. Many were after their pockets and not willing to serve their country. 5. Inability of the new Afghan Government to protect civilians. The Afghan government was not only corrupt but weak. Her inability to stamp her foot and provide safety on her populace accounted for the mass murder of civilians from the conflict between the Taliban. Due to fear of being killed, many civilians and villages willingly surrendered themselves to Taliban rulers. It's similar to the tactics of Boko-Haram in the NE and recently IPOB in the SE. What next The Taliban should thank Iran, Russia, China, Pakistan, and her Jihadist fighters for providing them moral and financial support. The Taliban now controls modern western weaponry and won't rest on her oars until she becomes the new regional power, spreading her ideology to Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Pakistan, and China. Are we seeing the emergence of ISIS in Asia? The caliphate that ISIS failed to build in the middle-east, will be championed in future Afghanistan. India is the only opposition to such support and I doubt will be unable to contain the terror attacks against her when the Taliban finally assumes leadership of Pakistan. America has learned her bitter lesson, the same way she learned the hard way in Vietnam. Mind your business and stop the overbearing attitude of policing the world. American selfish interest in the middle-east, Africa, Asia, and South America has always led to political instability and conflict in those areas. Until America stops seeing herself as the post-world war 2 emperor of the world, she’ll always be at the receiving ends of anti-American uprisings. Difrent:They’ve exposed themselves as terrorists. No amount of Taqiyya from the wannabe Jews will deceive our people anymore. Their days are numbered. |
Biafran4life:Only people with low esteem make threats. Peeps like serial killers and terrorists. But when you put these weaklings one-on-one to face their adversaries, they tuck to their tails like Nnamdi Kanu, and Osama Bin Laden If you think I’m like those men you cut their blokos, behead or dehumanize with the aid of fellow low esteem mob as you, then you don't know whom you are dealing with. Threat givers are like barking dogs. Their strength is in catching the vulnerable unawares. Not men who know how to give it fire for fire, heat for heat. So be careful with the way you make that threat, you might end up regretting it |
athaboi:Funny enough being Igbo is not something you hawk on the streets like IPOB membership. It's not for Jewish wannabes, thugs, cultists, terrorists or those who behead people for a Supleme Reader. People without a mind of their own but zombies who rely on a fraudster to think for them. The Igbo identity is like a DNA, it flows in the blood. You can't buy it, it's ingrained. And you know an Igbo person when you see one. Industrious, independent thinker and lover of peace and justice. |
Wike the emperor should keep quayet. Umahi used to be his good friend before his defection. Something tells me that Umahi wanted to be his own man and fight for the Presidential ticket, rather than be a Wike houseboy like Ikpeazu and Ugwuanyi. |
athaboi:Of course sane Igbo. Not those who traded their brains for akanmu. |
amc:Good question. |
Dymaco:My explanation was clear like daylight. Read and understand as I can only engage you if you show some ability to comprehend. Back and forth argument adds nothing to my life as it shows unseriousness. So read and comprehend. Or pick your books to readily widely to understand what you're fighting for. |
gidgiddy:Yet it was the condition for accepting Civilian rule. It was a case of the devil and the deep blue sea unless you are pretending not to be alive when Abdulsalami passed it. From 1999 till now should be 23 years. That time is enough to change the constitution. But the civilian leaders went there for themselves and not for the people. |
paramakina202:More needs to be done, but the South East leadership is lacking balls in this case. |
Dymaco:For Scotland, there was provision for a referendum in the British parliamentary system. For Pakistan and India, nothing of such happened. The colonial masters simply agreed to the Muslim for Pakistan and Hindu for India mantra in separating them. This was not the same for Bangladesh who broke out from Pakistan due to civil war. In the case of South Sudan and Eritra they fought an age-long civil war to be free from her former hold. Sudan fought a 50 years civil war, while Eritrea lasted more than 30 years costing them millions of male population sacrificed to the war. Are we ready for such conflict? The answer is capital NO. |
Dymaco:Constitution can be changed if the majority votes for a change. The north currently have the majority and will not change it so long it favours them. But you can kick-start a change by involving in the political process. Wailing from now till tomorrow will do nothing but get you frustrated. |
Dymaco:A referendum is a great way to show that a country is democratic. The 1999 Constitution does not make provisions for a referendum and so anyone asking for it is asking for trouble or war. The only way a referendum can be achieved is if the 1999 Constitution is discarded for something closer to what is obtainable to the 1957 Constitution of the first republic. Rather than ask for referendum, what stops IPOB from involving in the political process. Join politics, convince people to vote you by selling your agenda. And when you get to the national assembly you lobby other zones to support the change of constitution which gives space for a referendum. |
Dymaco:IPOB is company founded in London with Nnamdi Kanu as the CEO. IPOB does not represent Ndigbo as there was never a time we called a bunch of riff-raffs to speak on our behalf. |
adadike:One thing about Igboland is that we don't support the destruction of our homes. The alien Jewish stance IPOB brought home will fail as many of us will not allow it happen. |
paramakina202:Many of them knows this but keep walking into doom like Zombie. The only way to cure or deliver them is with brutal force. I once recommended the demolition of the homes of anyone caught sponsoring IPOB in Igboland in one of my old post, I guess no one took it serious. |
