It’s obvious whenever sane Igbos talk about IPOB, many of you rush to compare what happens elsewhere to justify your terrorism in Igboland. But this won't work anymore. If the middle-belt and north allows their home to be fertile ground for terrorist, Ndigbo will never allow it.

Politics › IPOB: The Terorrist Group Working To Destroy Ndigbo by Eastlink(op):
The Metamorphosis of IPOB

Right from the time an unknown fellow called Nnamdi Kanu rose in 2014, many of us knew that his mission was to destroy Ndigbo. He came as a freedom fighter who jumped on the post-election grievance of those from the SE/SS to garner support and sell his evil machinations. From using his politically motivated Radio station in spreading hate speech, to fighting the government of the APC, it was clear that they were a secret vendetta behind the smokescreen.

While many illiterate Igbo masses became his support base, the majority politically daft ones overseas became his financial support. But behind that support, was an aggrieved political party using his platform to reign fire and brimstone for her loss in the 2015 general elections. And since the militant in the Niger Delta sold out already with the amnesty program, the next group to use was MASSOB (IPOB coincidentally, broke up from the former).

Why Igbos became the willing tool

Since the end of the civil war, and surprisingly to most Nigerians, the Biafran ideals never left the mind of Ndigbo. While our fathers were reserved, the newer generations embraced the Biafran cause as a rallying cry to speak up against marginalization. And they was a perceived discriminatory policy against us. Initially, the Neo-Biafran movement was noble when politicians didn't involve in the mix, but as soon as selfish interest got hold of the ideals it became a platform through which failed politicians used to hit at their perceived enemies.

Today, not only has the Biafran movement got hijacked by terrorist groups, it now seeks to destroy those it seeks to fight for. Today, the tacit support that IPOB got from Ndigbo is looking like an irreversible blunder. From deceiving the gullible with her messianic stance, Nnamdi Kanu’s led group now assumes forced leadership over the Igbo race. A leadership that arose by deceit and threats can never be genuine.

All the teachings of Kanu to his students are now bearing fruits. Kanu might be under arrest, but his foot soldiers who got their education from his Radio Biafra are hardened and now practicalizing his years of unchallenged tutelage. The beheading of Sabos, killing of Police Officers, and attack on government facility is just the beginning.

As days passes by, the more we begin to see the real terror group called IPOB. Just as IPOB members brag, Boko-Haram might be a child’s play if the group assumes her full terror attacks against the sovereign state of Nigeria. But ironically, like Boko-Haram who were restricted to the NE, IPOB will be restricted to the SE and parts of the SS.

But there is still a problem. While Boko-Haram had a structural command led by late Shekau before the break up of ISWAP, IPOB lacks a central command as every criminal-minded person in the east now runs their own UGM cell. This is why we see several unclaimed attacks and beheadings going on. And trust politicians to arm and use these terror cells to fight her enemies as seen in places like Imo state.
Crime › Re: BREAKING: Five Die In Imo Fresh Attack On Police Station by Eastlink(m): 11:11am On Aug 14, 2021
ESN/UGM terrorism will not prevail in Imo. IPOB should inform their PDP masters and Ihedioha that they’ve failed to make Imo ungovernable. From the beginning of Nnamdi Kanu’s madness, dude has always had his eyes set in Imo simply because it's an APC state. If Enugu and Ebonyi known to be at the border of herdsmen attack lacks the formidable presence of ESN, then it means that that of Imo is politically motivated.

Uzodinma has things under control and those who wish to destroy Imo due to selfishness are on a dead cruise.

Faiththatworks:
[s]Rihanna story confirmed what Reno omokri said about ibos. There's a large population of igbo descendants in the diaspora, and I'm not talking about those who migrated out of Nigeria after the formation of the country.
I remember the American preacher T.D Jakes talked about tracing his ancestry to the igbo tribe.
As difficult as it's for the igbos to accept,I believe Reno omokri told the ibos the hard truth, igbo pre independence Nigeria was probably one of the weakest tribe in Nigeria, many of their kinsmen were carted away and sold away into slavery.
But I have known the igbos to be industrious and business savvy,I expect igbos to take this opportunity and start some kind of service to help people in diaspora trace their root back to their different umunna and their household chi.
As for the Rihanna story,I don't think it's a big deal if the story is true or not,the fact is her forefathers were transported as slaves abroad, which tribe she comes from isn't relevant as this time[/s].
You messed up your post by foolishly using Reno as reference. Stupidity should not be an excuse to fail exams.

Just see how you are making efforts to defend yourself from all the outcries. Let's say that IPOB is not violent, but hear yourself abusing Igbos who are expressing their frustration. Only God knows the kind of Biafra you guys are looking for. In any case, we know how Igbos behave and we know how IPOBs behave. The sane minds can rightly judge and decide what they want.

Imagine some angry, and socially deformed characters thinking that they love me more than I love myself or they decide for me what I want. If you know what it means to be Igbo, you will understand that the fellows who have assumed new identity as IPOBs have lost every Igboness in them. Igbo man can never indulge a tyrant, Igbos are Kings and bow to no one, Igbo zare liberated and have never yielded to "nna oha" personality. Whoever is pushing that toward the Igbos is a bigger enemy. We have fought our battles, we have looked our adversaries in the face and spit on their eye ball. I am rather afraid that the most dangerous enemy is the one within that is offering us a Greek gift.
Remain blessed. IPOB are not Igbos but Jewish occults. They have no trace of Igbo cultural values in them. But their end is coming. You cannot be preaching liberty and freedom, and yet deny other theirs. The people will rise up against them and drive them out of Igboland.

IPOB days are numbered.

Ipob will soon start loosing followers if they start making life difficult for Easterners. Buhari already created wounds and Ipob is adding salt to it. I don't support the sit at home order. But even if it should hold, it should not be by force. Why punish people because they don't buy the idea?

There should be consultation before any decision. If Ipob under the leadership of Kanu was going this way, I doubt if followers would have been won.

I love Nnamdi Kanu. If he was in charge, there wouldn't have been anything of such. He would condemn the act.

Free MNK
Be deceiving yourself with the bolded. When we warned you guys to be careful with your sheepish support for Kanu and IPOB, you called us Sabo and Efulefu. Now the Chicken has come home to roost.

For us, the sit at home is a welcome development, same goes for the high handedness by the IPOB youts who are empowered to enforce it. The Supleme Reader has given his command, and so shall it be. IPOB is everything opposite about freedom fighting. This is what you get when you gift your liberty to touts, illiterates and miscreants.

I don't pity anybody. Infact I wholeheartedly support IPOB in their quest to whip everyone in the south east into submission. IPOB kuru gawa, anyi soro unu nazu so long you don't bring that madness to Rivers state.

Sports › Messi & Chelsea, A Match Made In Heaven by Eastlink(op): 2:00am On Aug 06, 2021
Chelsea and Messi is a match made in heaven. The stars are aligning and everything is pointing towards Chelsea. The Chanpions of Europe is in pole position to sign the Barca legend. Here are 6 reasons why Chelsea will end up signing the football maestro.

1. Messi follows Chelsea on Instagram and Twitter just as he follows Barcelona and Man City.

2. Chelsea style of play will fit Messi. Either he plays as a false 9 or in free role between the midfield and wings.

3. Financial fair play favours Chelsea. PSG must have to let go of one of Mbappe or Neymar to sign Messi. Man City on the other hand just signed Grealish with the No 10 shirt given to him.

4. Chelsea's pursuit of Lukaku was kept on hold by Inter following a board agreed decision to discuss fans uprising and other issues if the striker is sold. This gives Chelsea an opportuinty to rethink their transfer plans and go all out for Messi, whether Inter comes begging for Lukaku or not.

5. In 2014 Chelsea tried to sign Messi until Barca gave him a much inproved contract. Now, that the coast is clear, Roman Abramovich can ask Chelsea to seize the opportuinity.

6. Chelsea is in need of prolific goal scorer. Sending Pulisic and Odoi on loan will benefit Chelsea, both players are still young and such loan will afford them the chance to improve their game and return for the spots when Messi enventually hangs his booths. Messi is 34 years old and is the perfect short term solution for Chelsea currently.
