Is that madness, naivety, myopic, or something? Sane people are talking of Biafra and freedom and you are talking about a failed state that will soon be taken over by the taliban. What a joke.
Soon! I heard rightly. Don’t be surprised if the failed state outlive most of us. You’ll be here shouting Biafla till 2090. Don't grab what is available now? Don’t vote for your interest? In fact empower UGM/ESN to chase development from your communities just like Taliban did in Afghanistan. Before you wake up from the slumber, who knows Maiduguri will be like London compared to Aba. The SE might find themselves lacking in political representation. UGM might have blown up all the futuristic seaport, railway and the likes. It will just be a ghost zone where everyone has fled to survive.

Keep alienating yourself from the centre by following IPOB/MASSOB. After all the only emancipation the fraudsters has brought to you is pain, lies, blood, tears, and postponement of the agreed date that Biafla will come. Didn't Uwazuruike say Biafla will come in 2010? Kanu promised you Biafla during Trump’s tenure? What happened to all the promises? Those ones have already dedicated their lives to scam. After all if Uwazuruike can eat fat from the struggle. Kanu came, made noise and collected his own share. Asari Dokubo I learnt is grabbing his. Simon Ekpa has now joined in the sharing of funds donated by mumu’s.

This is victim mentality taken to a more petty level.

No well enlightened , educated and experience Igbo politicians/Statement in the mould of Dr Alex Ekwueme, Ubiti Ukiwe, Ukpabi Asika, Ogbonaya Onu will make these allegations that a minority ethnic group like Ijaw is threatening the interests of Nidigbo at sub-national level while Hausa-Fulani and Yoruba are threatening Ndigbo's interests at the National level.

This is unnecessary whimpering and embarrassing to the Ndigbo.

No ethnic group is threatening your interests, rather every ethnic group is trying to advance it's own interest.
I agree with you on this. Politics is a game of interest. Every group pick their interest first, sadly Ndigbo are lost in the wilderness. Since 1999, it's obvious we don't know our interest. Partly caused by our foolish follow follow PDP houseboy politics. The day Ndigbo forget about PDP/IPOB and her APGA sissies, is the day Ndigbo will be delivered.
A people that don't know what's best for them will keep on dancing in circle. Until Ndigbo focus on the bird at hand, which is Nigeria — we’ll keep on looking for the bird in the bush which is far from reach.

Zik is the daftest and dumbest Igbo to ever grace this earth. Stop bringing that idiot into this discussion. Once Biafra is restored, his corps will be exhumed and taken out of Biafraland and reburied. Another fool is the one called Ikpabi Asika. What we are suffering today is because of Zik's personal gains politics and Ukpabi Asika's moronic naivety.
So Zik is the cause of your suffering. Lol! Where will you put Ojukwu who led Ndigbo to a suicidal war we couldn't win? A war where tactics was needed instead of chestbeating and boasting "We own the sophisticated army in black Aflica". While his mates where selling their war proposal to the world powers, baba was busy reading Oxford dictionary, thinking of the new vocabulary in debate against Gowon. I bet he though that by chanting "On Aburi We Stand" the UN would call the warring sides to an amistice.

How about our Fathers? I bet they were drinking palmwine in the village square, singing the new national anthem of Biafla. Where they sleeping when young Ojukwu assumed leadership over more qualified dudes like Njoku, or when he pushed aside the likes of MI Okpara and Zik, not willing to form a war cabinet as Gowon did, but thinking himself as the Fidel Castro of Africa? Were our grandfathers too dull not to know that Ojukwu was stubborn and not capable of leading, but sheepishly followed him to Golgotha, chanting Ojukwu nye anyi egbe, the same way many of you today are following Kanu sheepishly but this time with the daft cry "Biafla or death. Lol!

Abegi make we leave mata for mathias and focus on the topic on ground. Learn from the mistakes of the past, else your children will blame you for the mistake you made today. And yours will be worst as you allowed yourself to go into a conflict with barehands and stolen guns by the ESN/UGM deceiving yourself with delusions of "Amaro kanyi si a kwado". And worst among them, your children will blame you for using emotions to solve issues and by allowing a PDP-backed Supleme Leader charge your thoughts into taking regrettable decisions.

Most Nigerians are goons hence the shithole called Nigeria is known as basket of fools. In 1959 election, Niger Delta Congress won only one seat. The winner was Milford Okilo from Sagbama. How did winning one seat give NPC and advantage in eastern region? The fight for political survival was pitched in western region and middle belt district of northern region. By 1963, western region has lost Midwestern region which become the home of NCNC.

In the above crap, you were correct about the use of Ijaw peeps by the northern political elites to rob the currecnt generation of so-called Ijaw of their birth right. Did you realize that PIB was driven by Ijaw in the 60s. You cannot eat your cake and have it. As of today, Ijaw kids have better percentage chance to die of cancer than their northern counterparts. While Ijaw peeps battle crude oil pipelines, the northern kids drive and jet around with expensive automobiles and jetliners.
You left the topic and jump into how Ijos made a bad political decision. Adviser of the Ijos? Clap for yourself. You've not finished healing yourself, you now assume the liberator of the Ijos. Are the Ijos complaining that northerners are driving jets? Lol! This is one problem I have with many of you Biafran apologist. You feel others made bad decisions, why yours is the best.

Please stick to the topic and stop forming Messiah when you've not delivered yourself.

Stop paying too much of a mind to craps from a character desperate to become the father of so-called Nigeria. The bolded even named his kids with silly names from the ethnic divide.
And what is bad about naming his kids Yoruba names? Zik wrote the Benin angle which looks political if you consider his first biography about himself which talks about his Onitsha Igbo heritage. Some historians feel he was trying to spread his political tentacles in the south with his political gimmicks. First was naming his kids Yoruba names and second was the Benin origin angle. Don't forget Zik was a politician and politicians can do anything to win votes.

Again, put some respect on that name Zik, because no Igbo man dead or alife has accomplished what he's attained.

It took white people to make you agree shell destroyed the region you claim you are from?
Saro-Wiwa gave shell the land in a military regime? You are obviously not OK!
You are talking about my state here and stop listening to CNN propaganda of those who had scores to settle with Abacha. Abacha might be a dictator with how he went about assassinating NADECO activist. But in the case of Saro-Wiwa, dude removed sentiment and acted just. You cannot used Ogoni clean up to murder men who had family just like you. He pronounced them guilty and called on boys to kill the vultures. These men were not even in the military, neither did they have political appointment. If he had an issue with Shell, he should fight Shell and not divert his anger on his political opponent.

What MOSOP headed by Saro-Wiwa was in the early 1990’s is what Nnamdi Kanu is doing with IPOB. If Nnamdi Kanu calls that Igbo leaders be killed for their alleged involvement in operation python dance, and boys finally do it. Kanu will take the fall for it and be hanged had it happened.

WHITE PEOPLE OF ANOTHER RACE AGREED SHELL DESTROYED THE REGION!
SHELL HAS ACCEPTED THEIR RESPONSIBILITY AND HAS DECIDED TO PAY ALBEIT A TOKEN,
SHELL HAS HUNDREDS OF SIMILAR CASES WORLDWIDE!!!
SHELL WERE ABLE TO USE THE USELESS NIGERIAN ARMY (RUN BY SENSELESS PEOPLE LIKE YOU) TO KILL THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE AND STIFLE THEIR VOICE, HENCE THEY BECAME MILITANTS
Shell destroyed the region yes. But who was the kingpin enjoying the monetary gains from Shell if not Saro-Wiwa? Kobani and the rest were politically irrelevant by the time Shell took hold of Ogoni land. Infact Saro-Wiwa gave Shell the hand in Ogoniland only to fall out of favour to become environment right activist.

The tribunal found him guilty and he was hanged for committing murder by pushing youths to butcher the Ogoni leaders.

You are mostly not normal in Nigeria,
Even white people(people of another race) agreed to compensate Ogoni people for the trauma the exploration of oil has put them through, same thing Ken was agitating for,
I am not surprised it's black people that are ALWAYS the ones behind their own problems!
I bet you are diverting from my argument. I’m talking about how he murdered the Ogoni political class and not him fighting for Ogoni clean up. Ogoni became a mess in the first place all thanks to Ken’s greed with Shell and when he fell out of favour, he used the cry for Ogoni oil spill to become relevant. A person who got contracts from the federal government on oil exploration in Ogoni when the going was good, suddenly became an environmental right activist when he fell out with the military. The tribunal who tried Saro-Wiwa might be a Kangaroo court, but those who testified against him in court where his fellow Ogoni’s.

The likes of Kobani who was buthered by Ken’s thugs fought more for Ogoni than Saro-Wiwa.

This is very funny you know?

By the way, how did the Ijaws make these cities to embrace Ijaw identity ,a minority status within Nigeria over an Igbo Status which is a majority status?
Very funny I tell you. But the truth is that Ijos were quite smarter than the Igbos during the first republic. They played their politics right in the 1960’s and used that opportunity to cement their feet in the Niger-Delta, with the help of a few of their sons who formed a political alliance with the NPC of Ahmadu Bello.

While many like the Kalabari and Opobo dominated the NCNC, those like Dappa Biriye from Finima was in opposition and used his NDC (Niger Delta Congress) to give undue support to the NPC, and was rewarded with love from the north. In fact, the Niger Delta Congress was the first southern party to go into political alliance with NPC. And you won't blame them as they wanted a state for all Ijos of which the NPC agreed to give them if they were elected into power in 1958. The NPC only pushed them aside temporarily, when the NCNC swept the riverine areas of Bayelsa and Rivers with the help of pro-Niger-Deltan NCNC members. And thus, knowing that the NCNC won majority votes, the NPC which had majority seat in parliament went into political alliance with Zik. That alliance was short-lived as every region went into political battle with themselves. While Ahmadu bello was sponsoring Akintola in the west, the likes of Awolowo was sponsoring Joseph Tarka in the middle-belt.

When Ahmadu Bello said he’ll drop the Quran in the Atlantic ocean, he was being paradoxical. It wasn't about Islam. He meant he had allies in the south. And among those allies was a young Issac Boro who was mentored by Dappa Biriye. Isaac Boro was always in communication with Balewa. In fact, when Balewa was murdered he was agonized and quickly began his secessionist movement to break his part of Bayelsa out of the eastern region, feeling that the Igbos would dominate Nigeria after taking out the north, whom Boro called the saviour of the Ijos. Surprisingly the bulk of those 1000 youths Boro used in causing his 12 day insurrection in the east, were Ijos who were born and bred in Ghana.

And it wasn't a surprise when during the civil war, Boro used that opportunity to cleanse the Niger-Delta of pro-Igbo sympathizers and land grabbed independent Niger-Delta city states like Bonny, Opobo, Kalabari, Nembe, Ogbia, Yenagoa, Andoni etc into his Ijaw land. He would have done much more had he not died in the hands of Adekunle who was concerned about Boro’s personal vendetta in the war, which was turning the battle in the riverine into a genocide instead of a civil war to unite the country.

Of course he was. A man who selfishly used his agitation to murder the golden generations of Ogoni political class deserves the label terrorist. Men who were far noble than him.

He brainwashed the youths to vent their anger on his political rivals in Ogoniland. That incident significantly dragged Ogoni behind and they've never found their voice politically in Rivers state since then.

Bayelsa State was created for Ijaw to enable other marginalized minorities in Rivers State to have a breath of fresh air... So any groups in Rivers State that claim to be Ijaw do so for political gains...No Ijaw in Rivers State..
When we say there are no Ijos in Rivers state, it isn't bound by sentiments. It's actually the agreement when Bayelsa was created out of Rivers.

Since Abacha couldn't create a Port-Harcourt state for us, he agreed to the creation of an Ijaw majority state while Rivers became an Igboid majority state. It was similar to the suggestion Ghaddafi gave Abacha about partitioning Nigeria into North for Muslims and South for Christians.

After Bayelsa was created, the agitation for Port-Harcourt state died down. Looking back, the chief instigators for Port-Harcourt State where mainly those from Ikwerre, Kalabari, Bonny/Opobo and Etche. Any wonder why the likes of Kalabari and Bonny fought toothlessly to bite Ijo hands off when they added them to the Bayelsa state map. The only group who should have stayed behind where the Nembe/Brass. But because the bulk of their sons facilitated the Ijo dominance in the old Rivers, they were dragged along to Bayelsa. Today, most Nembe are regretting their actions and if they have another chance would have remained in Rivers state. But it's too late now. Ogoni on the other hands have agitated for their own Bori state, but unfortunately Abacha didn't agree to it and now, there are still stuck with us.

Bayelsa for Ijoids and Port-Harcourt (Now Rivers) for Igboids. This was the mantra during state creation.

You Ijaws are quite funny and so obvious in your expansionist bid! As you tell it, you own all the coast from Akwa-Ibom to Ondo! shocked

What's at play here is the result of the collusion you went into with your Fulani masters to try and deny Igbos access to the sea! You engaged in a lot of scheming and subterfuge to steal Igbo properties and land from the late 60s to early 70s, and you were emboldened to do what you did because your Fulani masters had your back!

Pre the uncivil war, i doubt the Opobo, Bonny and Okrika identified solely as Ijaw or Igbo. I feel they were more of city states in their own right (kinda like Monaco or The Vatican)...independent of both the Igbo and Ijaw, though having been influenced by both ethnicities! But with the coming of the uncivil war and the attempts to shrink Igbo territory as well as deny us a littoral status, you went for broke and charged full-steam ahead to 'Ijawnise' these city-states....especially Opobo, because you and your Nigerian masters looked at the map and saw Igboland had access to the sea via Opobo! smiley
This is what really happened.

But in all, just as was done to the SW in 1999, with the SE contributing to the enthronment of the PDP but Yoruba enjoying the largese for the sake for national unity, 2023 will be given to Igbos for national unity.

All the SE needs to do is simply push her people to register to vote and then present the best man for the APC, the rest will be history.

Whether Okrika identify as Ijaws is no concern of mine. Okrika choose to identify as Ijaws because of how favourable the Ijaw-dominated old Rivers state was towards them. I will do likewise if I’m in their shoes. Aside from Melford Okilo who was our first civilian Governor, Ada George an Okirka man was voted as Governor in 1992. So I’m not surprised Okrika embraced the Ijaw identity unlike Kalabari whose benefit was minimal and had to bite your hands off when you lots added them to Bayelsa.

However, the bone of contention in this case is how your brother bragged about the Okrika Ijaw identity only to go to Wakrike Facebook group to get blasted. I bet he never expected it. Well, times have changed and every tribe want to find their own path.
