Politics › Re: Umahi Warns Igbos In Rivers: "IPOB Is Working To Instigate Another Civil War" by Eastlink(m): 8:52am On Nov 09, 2020
I agree with Umahi on this. IPOB does not work for the well-being and interest of Ndigbo. As a matter of fact, they look for any cracks that undermine the sovereignty of this country, even if it means instigating another civil war. This is why well meaning Igbos must stay clear of that group. Nnamdi Kanu don't care about anyone. All he care about is himself.

iObEy:
Do you think all Ikwerre people use bia to mean come? You're very wrong o.
A lot of you don’t know much about the Igbo language. I had this same mindset until I mixed with many Igbos. If a few of the Ikwerre can leave their villages and travel to just Abia state, they’ll be shocked to see that Bia is not come in many villages in that axis. They’ll be shocked to see that in Imo their next door neighbor, most villages have a separate dialect from what many Ikwerre understand as central Igbo. Like Afam said, everyone must choose their part, but accept responsibility for their decisions come rain and come shine.

I think the civil war created this crack in Igbo identity and like someone said although jokingly, a free for all 2nd war will reset the cracks. I don’t know how much truth is in this thought.

Forget sentiments and try to look at the resolutions of the confab. If implemented will surely move Nigeria forward. We shouldn't be too difficult as a people else we remain in the wilderness for a very long time
Confab without being approved by the national assembly was a jamboree. GEJ knew this and yet went ahead to waste tax payers money. The Nigerian laws empowers only the national assembly to approve a new constitution. If we are tired of the 1999 Constitution and it’s amendments, it becomes the task of Nigerians to lobby their reps requesting a review and implementation of the Confab, thus passing it into law.

I understand you are worried about what a formidable force like a sovereign Niger Delta Republic does to your biafra republic.

All I see you do is wrangling to create a scary scenario for the Niger Delta to consider a union with igbo because you feel trapped in your space with Arewa to your North, Oduduwa to your West, and Niger Delta Republic to your South.

I feel your pain, being trapped is not a nice spot to be, but that is the only future for igbo, embrace and kiss it now.
Nigeria is not dividing soon. Even if the worst should happen, the most peaceful regions will be Yorubaland and Igboland. Ask me why? Ethnic homogeneity.

Arewa might work because of religious unity, but when it comes to ethnicity, a never ending war will arise there.

For Niger-Delta republic lol! Don’t even go there. Those pushing for such republic are the Ijaws. A typical Edo man want a to rejuvenate the forgotten Benin empire carrying along the Urhobo, Isoko, Itshekiri with them. While those of us remaining will rather be dead than join an Ijaw dominated Adaka Boro republic.

Every zone have their problems, east, west, south and north. But what’s important is how you tackle it.

East - IPOB problem is there to deal with
West - Area boys and hoodlums problem
South - Cultism and militancy
North - Boko-Haram, bandits and poverty

For this topic, I expect to see real northerners do justice to this problem, not Arrewa the Osun boy forming north with his monikers.

Igbos are more interested in a working system than presidency, we have outgrown that emotional palliative.
The least that we can manage for the meantime is a reformed Nigeria, at best or we go our seperate ways.. On Biafra lies our hope.
On Biafra lies your hope, not mine.
Politics › Re: Is Amaechi Fit Enough For Igbo Presidency? by Eastlink(m): 2:58pm On Nov 08, 2020
Why not? If the Presidency is zoned to the Igbo nation, then he’s qualified. But if it’s a SE only, then he’ll have to wait for the turn of the SS. However, that does not deny him his place in the midst of his kinsmen.

Amaechi or any SS Igbo is fit enough to represent the Igbo nation in national assignments. If Ibe Kachikwu and Ifeanyi Emefiele can represent Igbos in Buhari’s executive cabinet irrespective of state, the same logic too applies in Amaechi’s case.

Yours truly is from rivers state.
I have always known you as a Rivers man. The same way I knew the likes of Tonye and Truckpusher. BishopMagic used to be your main handle and to be fair I learnt a lot from your Jewish conspiracy theories. I believe you are quite intelligent.

So Bishop tell me. If you want a Kalabari as Governor, isn't it a good time to align with the Igbos whom the Ikwerre’s are beginning to take for granted? I want to believe Tonye Cole would do well to sell his candidacy as a way of swinging sympathy votes to Kalabari’s. Because the last time I checked the Ogoni are staking a claim to that seat through Magnus Abe. While the Ibani have their Opobo champion in the person of Dakuku Peterside. And Peterside from what I see might end up using his main selling point - Opobo. So what’s your take Bishop?

[s]Two confused bastards from the same clan are claiming two different ethnicities. Wike is claiming to be Ikwerre but according to him, Ikwerre belongs to Bini yet another person from same village, Amaechi is claiming to be Ikwerre but according to him, Ikwerre belongs to Igbo.

These Ikwerre people have totally lost it and Igbos must reject them totally. They've nothing to add or benefit us but they've everything to gain from us. With us, they become ethnic majority and influential but without us, they become an inconsequential minute minority.

Ikwerre thinks they're smart but in reality the opposite is the case. I will rather endorse someone from Ibibio, Ogoni or Ijaw and support them in any election for keeping it real than have anything to do with a clan that like decieving themselves.

Any Igbo man that supports anything Ikwerre going forward, is a typical efulefu raised to 100.

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction to it. We must make Ikwerre to suffer consequences of their reckless acts and not allow them to benefit from it.

If any party should give its ticket to Amaechi and claim it's an Igbo ticket, then we will vote for the opposing party that gave theirs to any other person regardless of where the person comes from[/s].

Arrewa are you not tired of opening useless thread? Your Oyigboupdate moniker was trounced and now you want to keep messing around with this your fake moniker.

Below are some of your monikers that we’ve busted and will continue to burst until you repent.

1. Chino
2. Arrewa
3. Ikwerrepikin
4. NGPatriot
5. Ekpeitit
6. Rivers1stson
7. Idenna
8. Nsiba
9. Nduchuks
And over 100 monikers. Who is bankrolling you Areewa?

I was informed you’ve being a nairalander since 2005, which means you should be getting to 50 years. When will you face your real Osun state and repent?

[s]They dont speak Igbo language.
Some of your names and culture might influenced them during eastern region. That doesnt mean they are Igbo, they have rejected it and i don't know how you want them to communicate it to you.

Significant of the so called Igbos in the east are even from Edo State. Onitcha, Oguta, Ohafia is an example[/s]
What is your business with Igbos Mr Man? The effort you dissipate on trying to divide brothers should be used to improve your finances. So Edo of 5 LGA can come father an ethnic group of over 40 million people? So between Benin and Igbos who came first? See face your tribe and stop disgracing yourself here. There’s more to life than nairaland.

[s]The number of dead people must be far more than this. Wike has been a chronic igbo hater right from his days as the local government chairman ai Obiakpor. He claims he is from Benin and this seem to push him and certain ikwerres with his line of thinking to always try to purge Rivers State of any Igbo heritage. Like I said before, it's now time to push back! Igbos are indigenous to Rivers and nothing the likes of Wike says will change that. The Nigerian government handed Rivers State to pro federal Nigerian characters post war and all they have been doing ever since is to wage all sorts of evil wars against the Igbo population there.. This has to stop![/s]
IPOB miscreants making this an Igbo affair as usual. Igbos must not fall for this trash. When are you gonna add Kanu to the list of muderers. If Wike is implicated, how about Kanu whose utterance began the killings.

Kanu can never be exonerated. Next time, maybe when he’s incarcerated in prison, he’ll learn not to stoke ethnic tension with his utterances.
