I don't understand IPOB. I expected you guys to show Wike pepper, or probably get the location of his family overseas. Why must you people involve Ohaneze Ndigbo in everything? Let's be sincere, did you consult Ohaneze when you began the wahala with Hausa and Police in Oyigbo?

You find trouble, Ohaneze must speak
You no find trouble, Ohaneze must speak
That one happen for there, Ohaneze must speak
And when Ohaneze doesn't speak, you start insulting Nwodo.

I don't understand you people anymore.

Politics › After Watching This Video I’m Changed by Eastlink(op):
Everyone may have a reason or two why they may be against Nnamdi Kanu’s styled secessionist movement. For me, I’ve always been conscious about a non-violence struggle. I simply want people to sit together and agree on a way forward. When people sit together, they should be able to iron out their differences. But when nothing is achievable, then they should agree on parting ways. You cannot force marriage. Modern civilization has gone beyond the use of force to achieve unity.

However, after today, I won’t fight against a man calling. Especially one I don't know the force behind. Kanu’s passion for Biafra, for the African is infectious. It's a burning fire that only justice can cure. Although, no man is perfect, we all strive to do our best. Just like Thomas Sankara, I feel Kanu is after the liberation of the black race and not just the Igbos.

Africa will never move forward until we toe the path of liberation. In Africa, a stench of neo-colonialism has kept us backwards. Sometimes it's easier to criticize, but when given the opportunity we do worst. I won’t join those fighting against the noble cause of what IPOB stands for. I just want them to forgo hatred and see everyone with the black skin as one brotherhood. We are all controlled by colonial forces, and until we make a genuine move nothing will change.

Let God bear me witness, I done subscribe to violence or killings. I am a man of peace. I believe in justice and fairness. I support a peoples wish to co-exist and seek their path. This is what we should strive for as Africans! We should strive for the emancipation of the black race. Because only when Africa is truly free, can the world move forward.

The history of cultism in Rivers state goes back to the 1970’s. If you check properly, you’ll see the hands of military in it. They used cultism to kill our activism. Because they know that when united, the oil politics in the state will come to an end.

It shocks me. My fear is that, this extra-judicial killings will continue under the radar. A few months from now, everyone will be saying how did the Oyigbo massacre occur without widespread condemnation to stop it. While I agree that the murder of the Hausa traders was wrong, you cannot say anyone that listens to radioBiafra is now an enemy combatant to be executed in broad day light. And are they really killing people for having IPOB related searches on their phone? :
This is my anger. The media are not even reporting the killings. This was exactly how it happened in Odi until the dust settled. We are taking note, Wike, the army GOC, Police Commissioner or anyone found capable in this will bear the brunt in due course.

I am not a lawyer or studied anything close to law but I am just a free thinker who sees things without bias,I have argued with many ipob guys here n I made them look stupid, many of them ended up calling me a paid fool.

I dealt with mayniaa d other day n he resorted to curses cos I asked him some questions he couldn't answer,he felt defeated n he started cursing himself.

the winners in all cases are free thinkers because they see beyond emotions, some are trained to do that but some have a natural instinct about it.mine is hereditary cos my mom is a warderess n I see how she solves issues without being emotional.

Most of the people you are arguing are evil people. I'm sorry to say this, there are northerners who support the killings. IPOB are not even the once paying for this, but innocent Oyigbo people. IPOB members want crisis in Oyigbo. Many of us have exposed them from day one. If you follow IPOB well, you see that they chestbeat and say what they can't do. At the end, they put the lives of innocent indigenes at risk. The army were called to calm the place, and possible arrest anybody carrying Biafran insignia. But they are not doing what they were sent to do, rather them and the Police are shooting at innocent people.

if wike should call d army to order, who will call Nnamdi Kanu to order?
u people have a mindset which keeps pitching u against everyone in Nigeria,u believe u can do anything to anyone forgetting that to every action there's an equal n opposite reaction.

Nnamdi Kanu made a video commanding his followers to burn down strategic place n they did, they didn't think of d implications.

The governor proscribed them n place a bounty on the gang leader.
the stupidity in Nnamdi Kanu made him put a bounty on d head of a sitting governor, who does that?

u place bounty on the head of a sitting governor n u expect peace,u can't threaten a whole governor in his state n expect peace but u people are shifting d narrative from Nnamdi Kanu n pinning it on Wike.

d earlier d better u realise Nnamdi Kanu is d problem n not wike
If you check rightly, you will see I’m anti-Nnamdi Kanu and his activities. But let's tell ourselves the truth, the army are carrying out extrajudicial killings. Was that the job Wike sent them to do? If Wike didn't send them to do that, then he should call them to order.

NOW, WITH THE WAY IGBO GOVS HAVE BEHAVED, Y WOULD ANYBODY WANT THEM AS PRESIDENT?

IN THE NORTH, WITH ALL THE INSECURITY, NORTHERN GOVERNORS HAVE NOT CALLED IN THE ARMY NOT TO TALK OF UNLEASHING THEM ON THEIR OWN PEOPLE.

IGBO GOV HAVE LOST ANY RESPECT AND RESERVATION I HAD FOR THEM.
First and foremost, Wike is not Igbo. If the SE Governors can place a ban on IPOB, is it Wike you expect not to do the same?

Second, if you were sincere you would blame the arrow head of the crisis, Nnamdi Kanu. But it's obvious you want to only blame the Governors.

YOUR SILLY GOVERNORS THAT ARE FALLING OVER THEIR SELF FOR PRESIDENCY, ARE THE PEOPLE AFFLICTING THEIR OWN PEOPLE.

WIKE AND HIS FELLOW IGBO GOVERNORS, ONCE AGAIN INVITED THE FULANI ARMY TO KILL THEIR OWN PEOPLE.

IPOB AND NNAMDI KANU IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE UNNECESSARY SUFFERING.

IGBO GOVERNORS ARE.
Wike and the SE Governors understand the situation on ground. Anyone not Hausa/Fulani is always at the receiving end when it involves the army. We saw this in Odi, Zaki-Ibiam and Zango Kataf. Anything security in Nigeria is in the hands of the federal government and that is why the army is always biased when called upon.

Assuming Wike or the SE Governors were in charge of security or state Police, they would have handled the situation better. But IPOB seems to be putting the Governors in a tight angle.

Please, Asuzu Chinedu Peters of BVI Channel 1 has made a video which I posted here on Nairaland a few minutes ago titled, VIDEO: WIKE DRAWS BATTLE LINE AGAINST IPOB LEADER NNAMDI KANU where he urges Nnamdi Kanu to recant his order for his IPOB cult followers to "take down" Gov Wike. Please, we want no violence in Rivers or anywhere in SS and SE. Let us be calm. Blood flowing is Kanu's desire. We hope those who know him and speak with him can convince him to recant, as he did after ordering the harming of Ohanaeze.

Are you really sure about this OP.
As I talk to right now, the army have made the situation worst than they met it. Even the Police are retailiating the situation that happened during EndSARS protest in that axis.
Politics › Governor Wike Should Call The Nigerian Army To Order by Eastlink(op):
If reports I’m hearing about the bias of the Nigerian security operatives in Oyigbo, then we won't accept that. The Nigerian Army was called to calm the situation not to support one tribe against another. The security operatives seems to be taking this onslaught into an ethnic war with aiming their bullets on innocents Rivers people.

From my investigation, the army and police are currently out on a personal vendetta and not to quell the crisis in Oyigbo. I’ve received calls from loved ones in that axis and it seems people are being shot at will, while the bodies are carted to unknown destination by the Nigerian army. We don't support this. We will never support this extrajudicial killings and onesidedness.

Right from day one, I have always been against Nnamdi Kanu and his approach. IPOB to me have always been known to be a tactless group headed by an idiot in London. However, that does not give the army the right to shoot people on sight. If the Nigerian army is arresting perceived threats to peace as we had thought, things would have become calm. But their Odi approach is what we won’t tolerate.

Since the army has become preoccupied with killing anything in sight, Wike should rethink his stance. As a matter of fact, Wike should call the army to order before this crisis takes another dimension. If neutrals like us can be pained by the army extrajudicial killings, imagine the anger in the hearts of my colleagues seeing those images of dead youths killed in their prime. Imagine the psychological angle and ethnic colouration this crisis may take. Imagine the anger people are feeling against the joyous stance of a lot of notherners jubilating on social media.

Wike should call the army to order, or even ask them to leave, else the crisis seize from becoming a not just an Oyigbo affair but the whole Rivers state.
