The change from eze to oba was recently Mister, you're are even bringing asagba of Asaba into play, how many of your kings from rivers state has publicly make pro Igbo pronouncements than asagba of Asaba? Asagba of Asaba and late obi of ogwashi uku cannot be compare to any king in rivers state when it comes to being pro igbo .you people should better join IMO or abia and forget about state.

Imagine the way you’re over emphasizing something you don’t know. Who would you believe, us on ground or hear say.
Are you even aware that several Kings reign in Ogbaland? Maybe you don’t know this?
This is the list of Eze’s in Ogbaland

1. The Eze Egi
HRM. Eze Prof. Anele Nwokoma
2. Eze Ogba of Ogba
HRM. Oba Nnam Chukwumela Obi
3. The Eze Iburu
Chief Akupia Ogwe (Eze Igburu II)
4. Eze Egi 11 of Ogbaland
Eze Kingdom Elenwa (Eze Egi II of Ogbaland)

Why didn’t others change theirs to Oba, or don’t you know that the Eze Ogba is a politician? What does it tell you. Are you even aware that the Eze Ogba of Ogbaland was friends to the late Oba of Benin and that the late Oba Erediuwa as a Prince lived in his village when he worked as a colonial officer posted to Ogba in the 1950’s. This was what brought the over confidence to make such alteration. And again the Eze Ogba was once the head of Traditional rulers of Rivers state.

Also added is the list of top Eze’s in the Orashi area is the
1. Eze Ekpeye Logbo
2. Eze Ndoni (Okpalaukwu of Ndoni)
3. Nzeobi Egbema (Imo)
3. Eze Oguta (Obi Oguta)

Oga you're still talking nonsense we all suffered during and after the war but we did not change our village names or change our obi to oba or seized the properties of south east Igbos like you people did.
How is the name change of the Eze Ogba Chukwumela Nnam my business. I told you guys that a lot happened after the war, and the Eze Ogba had to play the Bini card to be accepted in Rivers state. My Eze In Egbema almost did the same thing but was rebuffed by our people. Yes, we have stories of some of us migrating from Bini, same way we have stories of migration from Isu and also of some authochtonous communities of which my family form a part. But the adoration of Bini migration become intense after the end of the war, all for survival.
If you guys are sincere you would see that the Oba to the title is not real and was only to rhyme with the Ogba. No one calls him Oba in Ogbaland not even among his subjects. He still goes by the official title Eze Ogba and not the fake Oba. It’s not different from the Asagba of Asaba title of the Obi of Asaba or the Dein of Agbor by the Obi of Agbor.
In Anioma we still sell lands to south east Igbo but the same can't be said in ogba, come to ogwashi ukwu almost all the new student hostel are own by south east Igbos or should I talk about Asaba?
Who told you we don’t sell lands to the SE Igbos? This lie is becoming stale? Who wanted land that we didn’t sell, bring up evidence and not hear say. Do you know the number of SE Igbos that owns landed properties in Omoku? Do you know the cordial relationship between our people and the SE Igbos? Come to the college of education Omoku and you’ll see hostels owned by the SE Igbos? Is it filling station and other industries? Are you aware that the late Don Wani himself had lands in Owerri and Enugu? How did you think this happened, if he didn’t rapport with his friends from the SE?

Our people have a sacred attachment to lands sincerely, we hardly sell to other Rivers people and not just the SE? In Igboland generally, land is sacred, you don’t sell your inheritance anyhow. Even before the war, we hardly sell lands.
According to my grandfather we usually give lands to non-indigenes on lease. In the olden days, people from Isu area usually come to our place to farm and later return back to their place after the harvest. We gave lands on lease and not outright sell. This is still the norm in Oguta, you can ask people if you’re in doubt. So why is our own different? Is it because we are in the SS or what? Who is spreading this lies.

Non selling of lands by indigenes to outsiders is a norm in all parts of Igboland, except for now that mordernization is coming into play.
This your false accusations is getting stale.

The ndoni you're talking about is Anioma and will and must go with us.please stop disgracing yourself.

You didn’t suffer half of what we suffered, sorry to burst your bubble. The genocide carried out on your people was your fault. Who goes to welcome his enemy in war? You wanted to snitch on the Biafran forces and got gunned down by the Nigerian army.
But we on the other hand fought with pride till the end. We were surrounded by the 3rd marine commando on all corners but we fought and never surrendered. Have you heard of the story of the ‘Oguta boy’ during the war or the BOFF? In fact our area became a succor ground for those running from P/H and the Igbo interlands. We were the food basket of Biafra and provided the oil refineries that ran the nation.
We were made to pay dearly by the Nigerian Army and the new Ijaw government. Yet, the Igbos except for Zik, none came to our aid. So you shouldn’t blame our people who denied their tribe to survive. Even the Anambra dude would have done worst.

Tell them brother. How I wish these guys can really understand us (Igboid groups) in Rivers state. We suffered a lot in the old Rivers state..chai!! That's why I laugh at anyone sympathizing with the ijaws. They will never smell the brick house.
Truth, some of the IPOB’s tend to blame the federal government for what happened in old Rivers forgetting the real culprit? This is why I’m not in support of IPOB truth be told. If they know what we suffered in the hands of these folks, they will never add the Ijaws to their supposed Biafra.
We in the Orashi belt became the scapegoat in the eyes of the Ijaws and they dealth with us. The identity crises in our place didn’t happen after the war, it happened gradually and was implemented strategically by the Ijaws who saw Old Rivers state as Ijaw nation.

Odimerenyi! That’s cool.
Wanne me too would want the actualization of such state. This was the dream of Late Francis Ellah from Ogba and still promoted by Nzeribe. And I think a few of our leaders in Ohaneze added Orashi state in the SNC list of states because they could see the future.

Everything in Rivers seems to be centered in Port Harcourt and that’s unfair, I believe the Orashi state if added to the South East would change a lot of things from reorientation to sincere brotherhood.

There is no need trying to waste our time on Rivers state when we can easily achieve such in Delta who are more pro in everything...

Don't derail this thread.
How do you know if Delta has more pro Igbo than us? Who carried out the census? Don’t say what you don’t know. We suffered just as you guys during and after the Biafran war. Our Fathers and Uncles were humiliated by the Ijaw dominated Rivers state because we stood with Biafra till the end. We provided, food, oil and the naval forces that destroyed the Nigerian forces in the River Niger.

Have you heard about the name Senator Francis Ellah, a staunch Igboist who was among the statesmen that formed Ohaneze Ndigbo? Are you aware that this Francis Ellah was humiliated severally because he didn’t bow to federal government identity crises tactics of the old Rivers state? The old Rivers state marginalized us, denied us ndigeneship, took our oil from us, denied us university admission and stopped the allocation coming to our axis because of the role we played in the war. And inorder to prove that you were a true Rivers man you needed to cut off all ties from the larger Igbo. This was the survival tactics we used back then, and this was how the denial started.

Because many of us decided to survive in the old Rivers state by denying the Igbo identity does not remove who we really are. When I mean we, I mean the Ahoada, Ogba, Ndoni and Egbema.

Senator Francis Nzeribe was the brainchild of the two states.

Njaba state
The 12 Orlu zone LGA
Ihiala LGA (Anambra)
Egbema (Rivers)

And Recently Amended

Orashi State
Oguta (Imo)
Ohaji/Egbema (Imo)
Oru West (Imo)
Oru East (Imo)
Onelga (My LGA Rivers)
Ahoada West (Rivers)
Ahoada East (Rivers)
Ogbaru (Anambra) etc

Njaba state seems more feasible and almost got the approval by Obasanjo in 2003 before the citing of Capital cause disagreement between Nzeribe and Udenwa of Imo. Senator Nzeribe wanted Oguta while Udenwa wanted Orlu.

1. Anioma
2. Njaba
3. Orashi
4. Adada
5. Aba
And among these the most viable are Anioma, Njaba and Aba in that other. Sorry to say this, Adada is the least in terms of landmass and economic viable but if they add up the Benue Igbos then they’ll measure up in size.

[s]NEWS2023: Nnamdi Kanu is Igbo’s greatest enemy – Ohanaeze alleges

Published 2 mins ago on April 7, 2020By Seun Opejobi

The apex Igbo socio-political organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has described Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, as the greatest enemy of Igbo people in the last 200 years.

Ohanaeze’s Secretary General, Barr. Uche Okwukwu in a chat with DAILY POST claimed that Kanu collected money from enemies of Igbos to destroy the Southeast.

Okwukwu maintained that the actions of the IPOB leader was undermining the chances of the Southeast to produce the next Nigeria’s president.

He said: “This is a man that asked Igbo to destroy their Voters Registration Cards and not to vote. 48 hours to the election, he collected money from PDP and asked the people to vote; so what will they have used to vote?

“Kanu’s action undermines the interest of Ndigbo politically. He’s an enemy of the Igbo man. In any serious land and clime, they will catch him and flog him because he’s undermining our people.

“Today, you can see the votes that came out of Igbo land, three thousand votes from Abia; 600,000 votes from Anambra; 500,000 votes from Enugu; 300,000 votes from Ebonyi; 500, 000 votes from Imo. Is that the number of votes that will produce Igbo president?

“All the votes from the Southeast are not up to that of Jigawa and Katsina, so Nnamdi Kanu is commissioned to destroy the Igbo race. The enemies of Ndigbo gave him money to destroy us. He’s the greatest enemy of Ndigbo in the last 200 years. I equate him to a slave master.”

The Ohanaeze’s Secretary General lamented that the separatist’s continued insults on President Muhammadu Buhari was affecting the chances of the Southeast politically.

He claimed that Buhari will install a president in 2023 but Kanu’s action would hinder the chances of the Southeast coming out as next president.

He said: “I have said this time without number that APC will win the 2023 presidential election; you know and I also know that Buhari will install a president, you don’t need a prophet to tell you that in the next three years, Buhari will decide the next president of the country.

“So, Kanu’s continued insult on the president and shifting Igbo from the APC is weakening us. APC will install the president and Igbo people are not in the party. Igbos in APC are being insulted, they are insulting Ngige, Okorocha, Orji Uzor Kalu, meanwhile APC will produce the president, Buhari will install the President in 2023.

APC does not need Nnamdi Kanu to win election. They have won the presidential election twice without the votes of the South-South and South-East. Buhari became president without the vote of our people, he ran again without the vote of our people, so he will still install a president without our votes.”

Okwukwu also appealed to Buhari to give the presidency to the Southeast in the interest of fairness and equity.

“We are appealing to Buhari and APC that in the interest of equity and fairness to give the presidency to Igbo and to produce a Nigerian president of Igbo extraction. I don’t care where he comes from.
