She does not need to. Instead of an elaborate wedding she can just have a quiet church blessing, she should have thought of that before opening her legs now.

Religion / Re: Is Being A Worker In Church The Only Way To Serve God? by Ebonyj(f): 3:50pm On Dec 12, 2008
Damiso,

I feel you. Although I am a member of the choir I am beginning to think I should leave and just concentrate  on serving God in other ways. I find that the so-called social gatherings that are organised by christians tend to be filled with gossip and backbiting, and I sometimes find myself participating it both consciously and unconsciously( I THEN GET HOME FEELING VERY GUILTY I have come to realise that there are so many ways of serving God aside from being a worker in the church. You can serve God with your money by helping the needy. You can stay behind and clean up the church, help with decorating the church, you can work with the children without being part  of the childrens team, you can even take a day out a week or a month by dedicating it to praying for the pastors, and the the spiritual growth of the church.

It is well my sister, I know you have a good heart , please do whatever the Holy Spirit directs you to do, don't let anybody force/blackmail you into doing anything the Holy spirit has not put a stamp on.

SHALOM!!!!!

Congrats to Mr 9ice, Gongo will be soing in the 9ice residence this today.

The baby, already named Zion, was delivered at 12:43am on Thursday December 4, at Presbytarian hospital, Southern California, United States of America.

9ice is currently away in Cyprus honouring a performance engagement, but he received the news with excitement and gratitude to God. ”I’m very happy. And we give God all the glory” he said.

I love David, he was a sinner and he was always getting into trouble, but he had great faith in God and knew how to praise God , he was a very brave person as well, I admire his courage and faith. The only problem is that he fought all the days of his life. I also love Esther.

NOLLYWOOD STAR ACTRESS ,INI EDO MARRIES PHILLIP EHIGWINA IN EKET,AKWA IBOM STATE, NIGERIA

Reported by Niyi Tabiti
After severl postponements and speculations in the media, Nigeria born star actress, Iniobong Edo finally married her controversial lover, Phillip Ehigwina in oil rich town of Eket, Akwa Ibom State; Nigeria. The event took place yesterday 29 November 2008.
Accompanied by friends and relatives, Phillip stormed the home town of the actress in style and formally showed off that he is indeed man enough to take their daughter as his darling wife. On her path, Ini Edo was also extremely happy about her choice of man.She told friends that Phillip is her everything.
Expectedly, it was a roll call of her colleagues in Nollywood that graced the occasion. The list includes the Desmond Elliot, Oge Okoye, Rita Dominic, Mama Gee and the duo of Aki and Paw Paw. The event lasted till yesterday night. The traditional wedding was a knock out for critics of the star actress who thought that her relationship with Phillip, the United States based dude would not lead to wedding. Ini further fuelled this some months back when she denied any plan for marriage.
It should be recalled that Phillip and his ex-wife, Ruth went their seperate ways years back over allegation and counter allegations bothering on infidelity.

Jokes Etc / Girls Night Out by Ebonyj(f): 11:32am On Dec 05, 2008
Two women friends had gone for a girl's night out.

both were very faithful and loving wives, however they had gotten enthusiastic on the bacardi breezers.

incredibly drunk and walking home they needed to pee, so they stopped in the cemetery.
one of them had nothing to wipe with so she thought she would take off her panties and use them.

her friend however was wearing a rather expensive pair of panties and did not want to ruin them.

she was lucky enough to squat down next to a grave that had a
wreath with a ribbon on it, so she proceeded to wipe with that.

after the girls did their business they proceeded to go home.

the next day one of the woman's husband was concerned that his
normally sweet and innocent wife was still in bed with a hang over, so he phoned the other husband and said:
'these girl nights have got to stop! i'm starting to suspect the worst. my wife came home with no panties!!'
'that's nothing' said the other husband, 'mine came back with a card stuck to her ass that said,

'from all of us at the fire station.
'we'll never forget you.''***>

Forgot to add, I pooped and threw up a few times after the birth, lol. PLus due to the epidural could not walk for the first 24 hours after the birth.
Family / Re: First Pregnancy. First Labor. First Baby. How Was It? by Ebonyj(f): 1:31pm On Nov 19, 2008
My first pregnancy was such a difficult one, I had morning sickness till I was about 6 months. I totally went off meat and dairy products. I would thrush throughout, infact at the time I thought I would never get pregnant again in my life.

My craving was the funniest, I used to crave elubo, the powder o, I will take a handful and slowly eat it as if it was ice-cream, it got to the extent that my husband got so angry and tols me to stop. So I would sneak into the kitchen when I thought nobody was lookiing and have a little powder , lol. Anyway one day, we had his cousins round and they were all watching a movie so I sneaked into the kitchen as usual I had taken my handuful o, just to put the Elubo container back into the cupboard, afi gbosa, I don't know how I dropped it, but the whole container full of Elubo came tumbling down over my head. I just stood there laughing and you can imagine the embarassment I felt when my hubby and his cousins came in to the kitchen and saw what had happened.

Anyway , the birth was not nice either, I was 2 weeks overdue, so I had to be induced, even after been induced I did not go into labour until the second day when they were ready to administer a second dose of the gel.  I was in labour for 26 hours o, I first refused Epidural, when they started talking about ceasarian and I could not take the pain anymore I took Epidural, (that thing is a life saver). I was quoting the bible like no mans land, my hubby was crying like a baby, his cousin( a girl was a real help, she just kept encouraging me).

I don't want to scare you so I will not tell you what happened after the birth, but you know what regardless, of the tears, pains, stitches, blood loss , I would not change my baby for anything in the world. Everytime I look at him I thank God for the day it was born. The joy you feel when you are holding your child for the first time is too much for words to describe.

For now I am trying for another baby, hopefully a girl this time and I pray the birth and afterborth isa lot easier and smoother.

Family / Re: Must We Use The Services Of Househelps And Daycare? by Ebonyj(f): 3:28pm On Oct 24, 2008
I have an au pair and my son goes to nursery full time.
Not because I am lazy but because I need it.
Until quite recently I did not have an aupair but when I could no longer cope with working full time, rushing to the nursery after work to pick up my son, then rushing home to cook and tidy the house(which leaves me little or no time for my child) and then at night when it is time to sleep , you have to perform your wifely duties I decided I needed some extra help which is why I hired an aupair.

With the au pair, I can come home after work and relax with my husband and child ,I now have time to read him his bed time stories, play with him you know and just spend some time together as a family.

Even if I was not working full time I might not have any au pair but my child would still go to nursery because he needs to have some kind of interaction with his peers, I don't see it only as an educational environment but it will help to improve his social and communication skills as he develops.
I can tell you that even though my child his only 2 you can tell him apart from other kids who do not attend nursery, he appears to be more confident and he his speech is a lot clearer .
As per the cleanliness of the nursery, it really depends on the nursery and its regulating body, if you are not happy with the way they are handling your childs welfare or you are not happy with the environment then there is a procedure for you to report it or make a complaint.
Enough said.
