BusinessRe: Mexican, Carlos Slim, Is World's Richest Man With $67 Billion by ebos(m): 8:46am On Jul 18, 2007
I'm of the opinion that Bill may not overtake Carlos Slim again because he's no longer interested in the first position. About 30% of his income have been shared to various charitable homes as I said earlier. I know they are not rated by the incomes that comes to them, but I still believe that these proceeds, if he still receive them can be used to acquire more shares or invested to other businesses that can generate more assets to him. That was why he made the statement that "once you make your money and hits $50 Million, you are satisfied because what $60Billion can buy, $50Million can still buy it. He went ahead to say that investing in the charitable homes is his main concern. So, with his statements, you will know that he's no longer interested in that position. We all know Bill is greater than Carlos anytime, any day. Carlos has done nothing, and he's just talking rubbish that you cannot fight poverty by donations. Please help me ask Carlos Slim, if the orphans and the physically challanged will die in hungry, and have no right to be educated like him, hence he does not believe in donations. Who does he wants to train the orphans and the rest? Selfish man like him.

I can now see the way of thinking of most Nigerians. It's a pity that some Nigerians still doubt that most people here live below $1, simply because some Nigerians are taking bottles of star everyday. These people with their shallow thinking are the likes of Obasanjo. The fact that some Nigerians drink star everyday does not necessarily mean all Nigerians can afford it. There are those that can hardly afford a meal, even some cannot afford N10 to buy a sachet of pure water. Make out time and visit those around you and see your fellow human beings suffering. That is why I laugh when some said that Nigerians are benefiting from Dangote’s companies either by way of securing jobs or buying of shares, as if everybody can afford the money to buy his shares. Let us reason like normal human beings and stop thinking as if there are no poor people in our midst whom Dangote can help. Again, those who make the statement that you cannot fight poverty by donations are looking for a way to justify their stinginess. The less privileged who nobody trained cannot be employed by Dangote and they need help. The orphans need to eat, catered for and have right to education. So, you don’t expect those children to work in Dangote’s companies or buy shares from there. I have visited many orphanage homes other less privileged when I was in the Seminary and saw things by myself. These people are crying and need those they will call mothers or who will show them love. Dangote should stop acquiring selfish wealth and use what he has made through the grace of God and help those whom God will use to condemn him if he fail to reach out to these people.

Did Westerners tell u that Dangote does not pay tax? We (Nigerians) said that Dangote does not pay tax except the money he spends on the powers that be to clear his way. Anytime there is something wrong with us, we start to call Westerners as if they are incharge of our country.

The type of company you work determines it. Some are paid less than 700k per annum while others get millions per annum. Don't be surprised some companies can offer you 480k - 500k per annum. It just depends on the companies

Now I have just heard that Dangote is about to go into construction, 2morrow, they will tell us how he's better than every other Construction Company and all the contracts will be going 2 him, if at all the govt will not find one flimsy excuse to eliminate other construction compaines . When it happens, we will cont 2 watch, smile and clap for the so-called Dangote. We all know that the powers that be helped him, good for him - the only son of the soil. Won't they help others or at least allow competition? The govt only allow competition after Dangote has firmly established himself, then other competitors coming up will find it difficult to face him. He has already captured the market, his own price will be reduced because of what we call large economics of scale thereby amassing for himself every kobo.

Break up the rust on phone, then you can explain to her later if at you owe her any explanation, cos she's not wife and no normal being will question you as long as u are not ready to marry her, but I repeat, be with friends with her. It's a good decision. I applaud ur move. face to face or phone makes no difference.

If you are ready to give ur life to Christ, please do it immediately. In fact, I prefer phone because it will be faster. At times, I wonder what is the gain of all these. Think of ur life 2morrow if death strikes now. Quit everything that is ungodly in that affair, and then keep her as a friend. Please, don't tell me this is not a bible issue or whatever. There are some advise that will affect ur life negatively, and they may seem good to you. But at times we need to get the point clear.

Carlos Slim was able to overtake Bill Gate because Bill has shared percentages of his income to charitable homes, and less than 70% of his income comes to him presently.

I was told marriage is not easy when I wanted to walk into it, and I got frightened, even more frightened when a lady tied a hectare on her waist ready to rough handle her husband. I am now contemplating either to go back to seminary school and become a priest or struggle and make money to be able to face marriage heat. So, i'm afraid.

I will have a zero thought for any action immediately when you provoke me, but after 20 minutes when I might have gone, then the anger will come to me that I must find it dificult to talk. The next thing is to come back looking for the person, and at that point in time, I can do anything. I will be searching for the peoson, thinking why I allowed him to go. But, if it take a day before seeing you, is gone. This is when i'm angry with outsiders.

GTB do not charge any online transaction notification via email, but they sent me a text message on Monday, 9th July 2007 explaining that any transaction notification via SMS attracts N10 per SMS, but notification via email remain free. This GTB is really the best bank I can recommend to my friends. I do not go with any card, yet withdrawal can be made. The GTB staff will call you immediately they see you hanging, and they will be ready to help you.

Here we are praising a man who is accumulating selfish wealth at the expense of Nigerians. You think he is the only person that has investments in Nigeria, so, why must every government encourage him and leaves others? Dangote is a man of give and take within those in authority. He keeps on investing and every kobo going to his packet, and we say he's creating employment. I can create such employment if given the same privilege. The less privileged are they not human beings? Let him create employments for them or at least remember them for something. There are many potential businessmen in Nigeria today but the government do not want these people to come up. Upon all his wealth, we still have more poor people in his region. Is that wealth? A MAN WHO IS COMFORTABLE WITH EVERY GOVERNMENT even if the poor are dying in thousands.

Seun:
Now that Dangote has boasted about his wealth, the whole of Nigeria is busy trying to bring him down. Envy!
I don't need to be like him, so how could I envy him. Let him continue to accummulate wealth without opening his hands. Bill Gate said it all, once you make your wealth and hits $50m, you are satisfied. Whatever someone with billions of dollars can buy, you can also buy it. Trillion dollars is his trillion troubles.
