As some had already said, love is very possible in less than 4 days, he might be observing ur attitude 4 a long time before opening up |
I'm confused here, at times u may get annoyed outside ur home only to come back to see that kind face that will provoke u more. Ugly one - will her people reduce her bridal price for me? Dull one - will my children have something good to learn from her? Love should be considered first. |
goldieloc:when is someone old enough to have sex? To me one can be old enough to have sex when he or she is married. Age does not determine that, hence the LAW above all other Laws made it clear. If u caught ur daughter having fun with a guy in ur house, you might not be able to do anything. You would be shocked, stood speechless and before u could get urself back, the boy would be nowhere to be found. |
@ pelican applaud that, If we cannot cherish any good thing, time will come when our future leaders will say,"afterall Yaradua tried to do good but they failed to appreciate it, so no need trying to please Nigerians, cos they will not value it." |
You need a girl friend simple. There is nothing strange in good friendship. Make any interested person holla u. |
It's better to know how to write than to speak. what's make an illiterate is the inability to read and write, and not the speaking aspect because the environment where one grows contribute to his or her fluency in the language that is spoken frequently in that vicinity. Let the guy help you or hell to him. |
Real Love does not ask all these if really want to marry, but with what is obtainable in Nigeria today as Oliver sang, Love dey see well well for Naija. when the money is there, love will regain it's sight to see you, it will open its eyes to assess ur worth. As for me, real love will determine who I will marry, knowing fully well, when all those things are gone, everything is gone? Money or education will not be my priority, but that does not mean I will marry illiterate. |

kilasos:Do you want him to tell them he is married when he is not? Your boy friend is not a liar. He is truly single. |
It is as tough as not seeing them |
Man, I will try and arrange one for you. Though, you can easily get them in one of the hotels there, they are ever ready to hook people like you up. But I suggest u state ur age, it will help know the one older than u are. |
Try and gather confidence, go ahead, it's a matter of yes or no. I don't think a sword will pierce ur throat if rejected. Probably some persons there will accept |
I can date them but I CANNOT mary them. I see dem as not making good wives |
So, these are Nigerians saying they will return the money if they are over-paid? "Glory be to God." Forever and ever. There is hope for Nigeria. At least I am impressed with all the responses, it only shows that Nigeria will be better in future with all these people. This simply means we have a good number of people who have conscience. May God strengthen them to return it when it will happen. As for me, I will still return it sharp sharp, though I have not been overpaid before, but many times I have come across huge amount on the way (Port Harcourt), I made sure the money was traced back to the owner. |
Somebody just reminded me something that OBJ delared assets before assuming power in 1999 but now he refused to declare it againg when he left. Why Yaradua is different from OBJ is that, he was a governor for eight years after which, he was able to declare his assets now which I challenge other governors that left with him to take a line-up if they have the mind. I personally opposed Yaradua initially because of the way the elections were conducted not that the other candidates who contested with him were better. At least, he has proved to us that as a governor for eight years, he did not loot, rather he saved for the state, that is good. Consequent upon this fact, let him (Yaradua) not be the bibilical man who buried (i.e save) his coin because of not knowing what to do with it, while others traded with theirs and were able to show more coins than what was originally given to them. It might be that Yaradua saved a huge amount for his State because he lacked ideas of what to do with the money. I don't know. There are a lot to have done for his state with the money he saved. Finally, it is better to save the money than to loot it. |
Yaradua did the right thing by declaring his assets, it shows his inner heart wants to work for Nigeria, but I believe the President has put his VP in catch-22, as Nigerians will be expecting him to join the queue. Let us know that N500 billion and N1 billion lootings are not the same. If IBB, Abacha, Abusalami, OBJ, and the rest that tested power had looted maximum of N2 billion each, Nigerian would have been one of the best countries of the world today. We have sympathetic and unsympathetic lootings. The later (unsympathetic) are greedy and only care for their families while the former (sympathetic) believe apart from my families, others are still human beings. Anyway, is it really true that Andy Uba worth N1 trillion? If true, I cannot explain his source of income. It may or may not be illegal. |
Ha! Amaikama, me I no fit understand wetin be ur own o. It's like u dey bend bend dey straight straight closer. Carry go jare! |
Having gone to GTB today being 28th June, 2007. The quick service I received has made me to reaffirm that GTB is still the best for now. It is online. I didn't go with any ID Card, just fill in your Account Name, Acct No., Signature and Date, the money is withdrawn within 3 to 5 minutes. |
Esss:The guilty conscience has pushed some to take advice that was meant for everybody personal. I did not insult anybody and also do not intend to do so, but I offered advise to all. The wise once have taken it. I know that recycling a point already given by someone means a backup to the point because it is good enough, and it can also be an opinion poll to enable the poster know what to do. It is even better to recycle a good or even bad point than to insult the poster. Nobody is against any advise, no matter how it is. Some said, ‘try fetish or u jazz him’, others said corner him and rape (though joke), etc. All these are advise hence they are no insults, but when you say, you must be ugly’ and so on. What do we call this? Let Nairalanders judge. Some good people have sincerely confessed that they have experienced what the poster is passing through. Then, what has ugliness get to do with it. Africans (though not all) sees somebody that tells them the truth as an enemy but the person that flatters them always even when they are treading on the wrong side as a truer friend. Education is not only in the classroom. I still maintain my general advice that “a fool is even counted wise when he keeps silent.” This is not directed to any particular person. |
Bank experience very sad. It was in March 2002 when Savannah Bank License was revoked coupled with the pull out of our company from Rivers State that followed it two months later. Everything was gone and life started afresh, it looked like a dream then, but it was a reality. May we not witness those days again. GTB is the best for now but I don't know of tomorrow. |
@POSTER - DON'T MIND SOME PEOPLE. For sure, some of those making noise here may not be as pretty as you are. Anyway, I have really come across some good counsels but most are like a talk-out-of-turn. The poster said “help me, I’m crazy over this guy but he is not interested.” Some are saying ‘You must be ugly’ others said “don’t be a home wrecker” even when the guy in question is not a married man while others said this and that. Is it a crime for the poster to seek for help in Nairaland hence the guy is still single? I find it difficult at times to understand SOME kind of people in Nairaland. If you post anything jokingly, it will be understandable, there is nothing wrong to crack jokes, but let the jokes be seen as such through the way you put the words. As they say, "None of us is as smart as all of us." This is because the problems we face are too complex to be solved by any one person. Our only chance is to bring people together from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines who can refract a problem through the prism of complementary minds allied in common purpose. Such collections of minds, I call “Great Groups.” They work together to get result and not to abuse each other. They help generate courage without a sounding board for outrageous ideas or words. My sister if you give all the adoring signals and the guy refuses to show interest, don’t kill yourself, and just move on with your life without him. Never force yourself on him but don’t hate him as well. |
One of my uncles married a very beautiful lady I can describe as beauty itself, but he is regretting everyday and had even cursed the day he met the lady. He cannot behold any beauty in her again. That's a beauty that is perishable, not rooted in heart. Delilah beauty to Samson. |
The girl in question might not be as ugly as Obasanjo (I dey kampe). I still suggest the boy should see her as just a friend hence she is kind and besides a human being created by God. |
Beauty is perishable if it’s not rooted in heart. Many people have told me that they find something and then lose it. They wait and they seek, and then find and lose it again. Often people take things for granted that are very near to them. That which is most dear and so close to us is easy to forget the significance of. This also has to do with our own heart. Sometimes something is so close that we tend to not give it the kind of importance that it deserves. We live in a world in which most people give the greatest importance to things that are impermanent and ultimately insignificant. Consider my words, and generally for the sake of love and kindness she has shown so far, just be friends with her and occasionally buy gifts for her in return of her kindness, not because of her facial-appearance. |
Let us be grateful to people who make us happy. They are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. This applies to u, if u are happy with her go for her but if u sincerely feel u cannot cope with her, then graciously let her know and be just a friend to her because it's not nice to reject completely someone who has shown kindness to u. |
@awoof Anyway, the work I do to let go of my suffering diminishes the suffering of the whole universe. When I have room for my own pain, I have room for the pain of others. Only then can I be transformed into joy. As I heal, the Earth heals. It is on this ground that whatever mockery I have made against you that I say absove from ur mind , and sit down with us to settle our differences, resolve outstanding issues and talk about way forward. Even as I know u started it. It is now a past. |
@ebos continue to wallow in ignorance and self delusion that the Niger delta criminals are unassailable, its just that their cup of iniquity is not yet full. OBJ that was and still pampering them knows what he is doing, you do not make war the first option, the whole world is watching how he has been tolerating their crass criminality so that when the Nigerian military descends on them people like Bush et al will just turn their face to the other side. maybe you were far away from Lagos on that terrible day that Ikeja Cantonment was on fire. If you had heard one of those 4 terrible explosions (among thousands others) late that evening you will know that a band of criminals bearing AK 47, RPG and GPMG machine guns cannot defeat the Nigerian military, like i said their cup is not yet full. se finis AWOOF CHECK IT WELL, THE ABOVE WAS POSTED BY YOU AND IT CAME BEFORE THE BELOW WHICH WAS POSTED BY ME. CONTINUE TO MAKE MOCKERY OF YOURSELF. YOU HAVE STARTED TELLING LIES NOW. A STUFF YOU ARE KNOWN FOR. @awoof Your name has explained it all. Awoof man. Can something good come from awoof man? Imagine awoof man calling Orji Kalu rascally 419. You see, Pot calling Kettle black. The same igredients supporting themselves. You have not answered any of my questions. The churches and other progressive groups calling for protest, are they itching for trouble? I tell u, come to Nigeria, 80% of Nigerians really want this elections be cancealed. What point are u making if 80% says no to this charade elections? To allow the elections stand, so that people who have been known for their awoof way of life to rule our states. Please, get a life! |
Nobody is refering to only Yaradua. We are talking of all the elective positions that took place on 14th and 21st April respectively. Yaradua is not only the problem but the rigging affected both House of Reps, Senate, Governorship and the Presidency. When will Nigerians elect the people they want to lead them? When rigging hits 90%, men it is bad for Nigeria. Look at Anambra State, the Governor, his Deputy, Ojukwu, Chieftains from other parties did not vote, etc. If these kind of people were disfranchised , what would be the fate of an Okada man? They just selected the people they want and told Nigerians to accept it whether they want it or not. Let us get the point. I'm only making my points not to insult anybody that give his point. |
@ awoof You reacted to my posts by insulting me and the Niger Deltans. Let me tell u, i'm not a core Niger Deltan. I'm from Umuahia in Abia State and u can easily see me in both Umuahia, Port Harcourt and Lagos State. Though, Port Harcourt is like a home to me considering the years I have been there. It is better to oppose my points by bringing superior arguments than insulting me for giving my contributions. You said u have had enough abusive languages in Nairaland but u go along starting the insults. I did make a general comment and each time I want to direct my point to a particular person, I always make sure the person is not insulted no matter his or her point. Everybody is entitled to his point. You have continued to reveal your stuff by the kind of words coming out of your mouth. Imagine what you said "before me and my people paint Nigeria with our inborn criminality" With this comment, you did call all Niger Deltans criminals _ inherent one for that matter. The more you post, the more shameful you reveal yourself, that nothing good comes out of awoof man. Awoof, name them. 4, one, finish it. |
@ tasina Try to understand me, I'm not the ITK you think. If i'm off the point just tell me, I will accept it. The poster did not tell us of any other sin from the man apart from defiling their matrimonial bed which of course is bad from the man. So, if the man was bad to her in other areas we do not know and she didn't state it. So, for her to be in delimma to go or not to means the man might be caring in the other way round. So, our advise will be focused on what she posted and nothing more. If you want to hear more things about their marriage, you can ask her to explain before you advise. I still maintain she should forgive him, though the man betrayed the trust which is bad of him. She is in delimma, so nothing like the decision is left for her hence she has sought our help. |
It seems some people don't get the thread or the poster well. She said now, her husband wants her back and "she doesn't know what to do, please help." Some people are still telling her that the decision is left for her. It is either you tell her forgive and go back to him or be without him. You must help her or u keep quiet if you are in dilemma like her. To me, I will say forgive him if a remorse is shown. Yes, you caught him he can still stop the sin. Nothing is impossible before God. I believe there are some acts some of us performed in the past and now we don't do it again. I feel for you, it's unfortunate. Please, gbahara |
