Bello ladan: This is not something new to us we the muslims we have had this since! MUSLM ARE NOT TEROREST BUT ALL TERORIST ARE MUSLIM,IS THAT THRUE?....Today the international media especially the western midia says "all muslims are not terorist but all terorest are muslims" But if you go back history, you will find 100% falsehood in this statement. for e.g; in history of the world, who killed the maximum humans? "Adolf Hitler" was he a muslim No!! he was a xtian but media never said xtians were terorist!! who killed 20 million human beings including 14,5 million starved to death? "Joseph satlin called uncle joe"was he a muslim No!! he was xtian, who killed 14 to 20 million human beings? "Mao Tse Tsung"(china) was he a muslim? No!! he was a xtian, in klinga battle who killed 100 thousand human being? "Ashoka" was a muslim No!! he was xtian who killed million of muslims in afganistan and iraq in the last 10yrs? more then helf of million were innocent children!! "Gearge bush and Barack obama" why the world does not called them terorist? also here in nigeria on the last 3yrs back sallah day in jos nigeria million of muslims were massacre by xtians, in recent shorting atack on one primary sch in USA which killed many innocent sch. chidrens, who dose the shorting? was he a muslim No!! he was a xtian e.t.c so many to mentioned but due to time factor i was unable to brought everything on board but with those little things i had mentioned you would be able to noticed that bad eggs are found everywhere in every relions beyound your imagenation why? putting all blames on muslims side only this is unjust against muslims and its very tedious Notice! you ppl should not level all muslims as terorist due to the inhuman act of some minority muslms pls. future respect. "Islam mens peace" dose not teache's violance, islam dose not permit killing of in
was Hitla killing in the name of God? Terrorist chant allah is great before killing. The majority of those killed by Hitler. are Jews that muslims wish they could extinct. Sorry, you only wrote trash

“We are freedom fighters, not assassins” – MEND disowns Comrade Azizi’s statements

(Press Statement) – The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) wishes to advise Nigerians and the media to disregard the pathetic attempt at propaganda by a so-called Comrade Azizi and his statements which are not authentic and statements emanating from MEND.

As claimed by this Comrade Azizi, the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) would like to clarify the following;

(1) Mr Henry Okah is NOT and has never being viewed as the leader or founder of MEND but rather known as a sympathiser and supporter of our cause

(2) Our fighters are freedom fighters who are fighting for justice, the emancipation of the Niger Delta and control of our God given resources and not assassins as stated by this so-called Comrade Azizi

(3) Our struggle is NOT and has never being about the disintegration of Nigeria or a North and South fight as stated by this so-called Comrade Azizi

With regards to the trial, judgement and sentencing of Henry Okah and other Niger Delta indigenes, we will issue a full formal statement in due course stating our views and plans for the future.

The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) would once again strongly urge Nigerians and the media to disregard any statement from this person.

I congratulate all Ndi Igbo for attaining another milestone that guarantees further improvement in public power supply. At this height, things can only continue to get better.

For the first time since the dreaded terrorist group, Boko Haram appeared on the country’s scene, Nigerians especially those resident in the 19 northern States and Abuja, had a bombing-free Christmas and New Year celebrations. In fact, some Nigerians, Sunday Sun investigations revealed, heaved a sigh of relief, that ‘at last, bombings are gradually reducing.’ Little did they however know that they’d heaved the sigh of relief too soon.

Exactly 18 days after the New Year celebration, the terrorists went for the kill, but they missed their target- the Emir Kano. Although, no group, including the new one that birthed in Kano on January 31, 2012, Ansarul Muslimina Fi Biladis Sudan (Meaning Vanguards for the protection of Muslims in Black Africa) has claimed responsibility for the gun attack on the Kano monarch, the signature of last Saturday’s attack however bore that of Boko Haram.

Besides, the Saturday, January 19, 2013, attack came just a day to the one-year anniversary of the first major attack on the ancient city of Kano by the Boko Haram . But the Ansarul group, whose name is similar to one of the major groups fighting in Mali, has since claimed responsibility for the attack on the Mali-bound Nigerian soldiers in a village near Okene in Kogi State, where two soldiers were said to have lost their lives.

Incidentally, the attack on the Emir of Kano occurred on the same day with the one that claimed the lives of the Mali-bound Nigerian soldiers. Since then, series of explosives have been recovered by security operatives in Jos, Kaduna, Gombe, Damaturu, Kaduna, Kano and Maiduguri, with some hitting their targets. The attack on the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero did not just happen.

Sunday Sun investigations revealed that before last Saturday’s attack, there have been pockets of killings within and around Kano by suspected terrorists. Prominent among these is the one that occurred just two days before the attack on the Emir, where four persons, including two suspected terrorists died in a shoot- out with soldiers at a checkpoint in Mariri area of the state capital. Before then, Sunday Sun further gathered, four policemen were killed in the same week by gunmen suspected to be terrorists. http://dailypost.com.ng/2013/01/27/boko-haram-relocates-to-north-west/
