Moment Odumeje Was Slapped By Security Officer During Demolition Of His Church Building (Video)

In line with the Onitsha urban renewal plan spearheaded by Governor Charles Soludo, the Anambra State government has demolished the church building of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry owned by Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere (‘Odumeje’) in Onitsha, IGBERETV reports.

It would be recalled that the ministry located at Bida Road, Fegge, Onitsha, was marked by the Anambra State government for demolition in April.

The church structure was erected along Nwagene stream and had to be removed.

Footage made available to IGBERETV shows the moment Armed Taskforce officials manhandled and slapped the prophet as he attempted to stop the demolition exercise.

Customers who ordered a bowl of isi ewu (goat head) were shocked to find a live centipede crawling in their meal and they called out the servers, IgbereTV reports.

The disappointed customers recorded the centipede and shared the video online to warn other customers.

A 29-year-old man has been arrested after a grandmother, her daughter and grandchild were found dead in Sobantu, Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, IgbereTV reports.

The victims identified as Zanela (65), Smangele (46), and Zenande Ndlela ( were found d€ad on Monday evening, June 27.

Police spokesperson, Constable Thenjiswa Ngcobo, who confirmed the incident in a statement on Tuesday, said the 46-year-old mother and her daughter were raped before they were strangled to death.

"A relative was left traumatized when he found his three family members lying on the floor at their residence with bruises and strangulation marks on their necks," the statement read.

"A 65-year-old grandmother was murdered whilst her 46-year-old daughter and granddaughter, aged 8 were allegedly raped and strangled to death

"The incident took place last night on Dube Drive, Sobantu in Pietermaritzburg. Mountain Rise police opened a docket with three counts of murder and two counts of rape for investigation.

"While at the scene, police questioned people in the area and the information received led them to a house of a 29-year-old man who was last seen with the victims

"They proceeded to the man’s residence with the hope of getting more information to assist with the investigation. They were stunned to find the man in blood stained clothes

"He failed to provide police with a satisfactory response for the blood stains on his clothes. He was arrested and charged with three counts of murder and two counts of rape. He will appear in the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate’s Court soon."

Hip-hop artist Habib Okikiola a.k.a Portable on Wednesday, June 29, reported himself to the Ogun state police command, IgbereTV reports.

Recall that the command invited the singer over for questioning concerning a viral video where he was seen ordering a group of men to beat up a man simply identified as D.J Chicken.

A statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the artist reported at Eleweran at about 5pm with his father and manager.

''He was immediately ordered to be taken to the public complain bureau office by the commissioner of police, CP Lanre Bankole, where he was interrogated about his role in the assault melted to the boy in the video.

However, since the offence committed is a bailable one, and couple with the strike action embarked upon by the civil servants in the state which also affected our courts, the suspect was released to a reliable surety who promised to produce him anytime he is needed.''Abimbola said.

The police spokesman added that the assaulted victim has also been invited to come and state his own side of the story to enable the command complete investigation on time.
