You don't solve business problems by being emotional or sentimental. You tackle it objectively.

I don't know about the slapping of coach you mentioned, but no coach will tolerate a player sizing him up. The both were teammates in arsenal. It's very obvious Auba doesn't rate Arteta, and that's the reason for his several indiscipline and negative influence in the dressing room.
