Hi guys/babes I must confess I'm intimidated by your knowledge of the stock market and especially, by how you analyse companies listed on the exchange. On this premise, I'm asking this question. How do you analyse a stock if you are a long term investor before writing that check? Personally I've bought a number of IPOs and thats about it. I understand the basics of investing but my question is how do you look at things like Profit and Loss a/c, balance sheets, cashflow statements, and determine whether a stock candidate is a good buy for the long time (>= 10 yrs). I have a background in engineering and these financial statements look strange to me. Hopefully this question will not be ignored. |
She will be afraid of staying when it appears you don't have any plans. No good job yet you said. I guess that means the income won't be enough to sustain a marriage? If thats the case, work on getting a better job and make up your mind what you want to do with her. Re-assure her and let her on on your plans. |
Y'all that can speak shouldn't be disheartened at all. I understand how it feelsI'm learning french. But believe me, you've got the cultural advantage in that it's your language, it's already in your blood waiting to be resurrected. If you're still with your parents, initiate a language lesson with them and stick to it. Speak it, no matter how bad, and with time, you'll pick up. Our people hold that Aka aja aja na-ebuta onu mmanu mmanu Soiled hands leads to oily mouth means there is always reward for an effort |

I would tell her, "Sorry babe, no gifts this time around, kinda low on cash" and see how it turns out. If she's serious with you, she'll understand and not pester it. If not she may erupt or start quarreling you or start avoiding you, then, obviously you've hooked up with one of 'em "money chasers". You'll take action accordingly. |

Drinking palmwine is a true way of promoting our culture. Drinking it to stupor? or Getting drunk with it is not. |

I got to DFW airport that afternoon and needed to make a call to our secretary. I walked up to a gentleman in hat and asked where I can make a call, he directed me to the phone booths after giving me some coins (He recoiled when I gave him a $100 bill to get coins). When I got to the booth, I could not figure how to use the phone and the thing kept taking my coins and refusing to connect my call. I felt bad and was figuring what to do when some black sisters strolled by and I asked if I could use their mobile. They obliged and I made that call. After going through Smith Driving course, I had to miss my way a number of times before I finally got the gist of the ramps and exits. Sometimes, I'll be on the wrong side of the road and looking over where I ought to be on the other side. |
