Here we go again! Bro any car can be driven for a considerable distance with a stuck parking brake and you know this. I agree the Benz has plenty cool gizmos that make it fun to do so, a couple beeps here and there - limp mode in order not to exceed 45 mph.

Drove almost 35 kms with the parking brakes on. Mechanic just finished replacing the brake cable and parking brake shoes. Fairly straightforward, easy and cheap job.

My bro's maintenance culture is something else. Parking brake was stuck and he didn't bother fixing it. Borrowed car today, made a brief stop on a hilly road and engaged the parking brakes - well the rest is history, heading to the Mechanic to fix this on his behalf cry

Hello guys, i have a 2012 4matic c300 that right side was hit, car was used by a female,sound engine and gear still though. Want to know what the value of the car in its present state.
Here is a list of things to be fixed, at least 400k though or so if i am right.
1. Ac compressor and condenser
2. Front grill
3. New dashboard with aribags, LCD display
4. Steering wheel with airbag
5. Power steering rack.

What do y'all think? Fix and drive or sell to highest bidder?

You forgot to upload pictures that show damage area - while you're it, you can include interior pictures of the affected areas if the spirit leads you. As for the car being driven by a female, that's an overused trope on here.

Thank you for the prompt response ma, the rates are fair enough considering the current naira/dollar debacle, currently out of calabar. Will try and pull it out completely to find out if i need a new arm or if it's the attached ball joint or the bushings that are bad as i suspect. And on other trivial issues, my mechanic suspects a Mercedes S Class W220 arm's bushings might be plug and play. I'll confirm all this and give you feedback the moment i get back to town. Thank you
