In 2019 Akinwunmi Ambode was about to be denied 2nd term as Lagos Governor, he approach his colleagues to help him beg Asiwaju. The APC Governors forum met Tinubu in Abuja, their Chairman Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi state prostrated before Asiwaju the godfather. Their reguest was not granted, Ambode was replaced by Sanwoolu. The APC Governors forum were dissapointed and embarrassed. Today reluctantly Asiwaju was before the APC Governors led by the same Atiku Bagudu who went and postrated before Asiwaju. He is seeking for their help and support the way Osinbajo did yesterday. The Governors are in control of the delegates that will vote in the primary. One good turn they say deserve another. Is this not the time for the Governors to pay back Tinubu in his own coins. Time will tell. Interesting times ahead. |

FG unveils new NSCDC uniform to be worn Tuesdays By Kelechi Ogunleye The Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, on Friday unveiled a new uniform for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), adding to the agency’s array of uniforms. The Minister during the presentation in Abuja said that the uniform was to be added to the uniforms already in use and would be worn every Tuesday. He hoped that the new white shirt added to the Corps effectiveness, efficiency and improvement in the discharge of their duties to Nigerians. NSCDC Commandant General (CG), Mr Ahmed Audi, who was dressed in the new uniform said that the uniform was to boost professionalism, character and improve the Corps commitment to defending the defenceless. He said that the new uniform collar shirt which is in white colour depicts peace and encouragement to personnel. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Corps had been using a dark blue uniform that has a red collar and another special uniform for the Corps Agro-Rangers unit. Audi described the uniform as characterised of a navy blue trouser, white top and red collar which distinguishes it from other security agencies’ white uniform. He also said that the new uniform is to be identified as “Officers Wear number 5C”. According to the CG, the Corps caps depicts several meanings: black beret is used for general duty and the white beret is for the provost unit in charge of instilling discipline. He added that the light blue beret was for the female squad while the red beret is for the corps medical personnel. https://pmnewsnigeria.com/2022/04/08/fg-unveils-new-nscdc-uniform-to-be-worn-tuesdays/

Nigeria vs Ghana Don't get it twisted.. The pitch invasion by Nigerians following the one all draw bw Nigeria and Ghana is not about football. It's not about not qualifying for Qatar world cup . It's about the frustration we feel about everything that has gone wrong with this country. Unemployment, hunger, staggering corruption, decay, rising cost of everything, no electricity, no water, no food, no money , no fuel, no security, no nothing yet billions of Naira disappear every day from govt coffers. Nigerians are lied to every minute. Every jackass thinks he can be president. They claim to have the answers to Nigeria's problems. Universities are on strike. Govt can't give ASUU even half of what it wants but Mr president is donating money to other countries. We poke our rotten noses into other countries' businesses but neglect our own. Govt can't build or revamp any refinery but spends billions sustaining dead ones. And when dangote builds one ..,..... NNPC opts to buy a 20% stake for the same amount it cost to build an entire refinery. We can't refine the oil we produce. Now we can't even import good fuel. Everyday Nigerians wake up to a new horror in governance. Nothing is off limit. If the mind can conceive it , this govt can enact it. And no excuse is too dumb or disgraceful . So when our football team fails to qualify for the world cup, and there's a pitch invasion and destruction of property, it has little to do with football. NIGERIANS ARE VENTING AND THIS IS JUST A TIP OF THE ICEBERG. . THE IDES OF MARCH ARE COME , TAKE HEED FOR THIS IS NO MERE HAPPENSTANCE....... THIS MAYBE THE WIND THAT LEADS TO A STORM. OR THE DELUGE THAT LEADS TO A MASS MOVEMENT. NIGERIANS ARE LOOKING FOR A PLATFORM TO VENT ...... THEY ALREADY HAVE THE REASONS TICK TOCK TICK TOCK TICK TOCK BOOOOOOOOOM. |
VIRAL VIDEO BY SOLDIER PURPORTEDLY ABANDONED BY COLLEAGUES DURING OPERATIONS MISLEADING, DIVERSIONARY The attention of the Nigerian Army(NA) has been drawn to a viral video making the rounds on the social media, where a soldier on Wednesday, 30 March 2022 claimed to have been abandoned by his colleagues during operations. Contrary to the claims and impression created by the soldier in the video footage, preliminary investigations have revealed that the video footage was a deliberate attempt to shield himself from being accused of cowardice, having abandoned his colleagues during an ongoing clearance operation in Gurara, Niger State. It could be recalled that troops of the NA, recently carried out a clearance operation in Gurara Local Government Area of Niger State. Disappointingly, during an encounter, the said soldier abandoned his colleagues and absconded in an outright display of cowardice and possible sabotage, which negate the precepts of the military profession. Sensing the gravity of his action and its consequences, the soldier surreptitiously uploaded the video online in a calculated attempt to whip-up public sentiment and cover up his act of cowardice. The soldier's action amounts to a betrayal of the esprit de corps and comradery that are synomous with a military unit and fighting formation, particularly during operations. The soldier's conduct is therefore an aberration and against the ethics and core values of the military profession. The video footage is thus, in all intent, and purpose a misrepresentation of what actually transpired between the soldier and his colleagues. The soldier has rejoined his unit and further investigations are currently ongoing to unravel the reasons behind his unprofessional conduct.
