A 9-year-old girl has committed suicide after her schoolmates bullied her for being friends with a white boy, her family has said.

McKenzie Nicole Adams suffered a year of vile abuse from pupils at US Jones Elementary School in Alabama before she eventually took her own life.

She hanged herself at her home in Linden on December 3, according to reports. Her body was found by her granny.

McKenzie's family said she had been teased over her friendship with a white boy by bullies at her school, who told her to kill herself.

Her aunt Eddwina Harris told the Tuscaloosa News:
She was being bullied the entire school year, with words such as 'Kill yourself…you think you’re white because you ride with that white boy…you ugly.. black (expletive)…just die'.

McKenzie had transferred from another school where she had also been the victim of abuse from other students.

A man was apprehended on Friday night while on an underwear stealing mission in Delta state. The suspect was reportedly caught by local vigilante in Agbarha area of the state after he allegedly stole a bra and was looking for panties to steal to complete his mission.

When he was quizzed by the security operatives, the suspect allegedly confessed that a man whom he asked to show him the way to make money told him to go and find where to hustle panties and bra before he helps him.

He was told after picking or stealing the items, he should meet him at a popular Tozak hotel in Ughelli area.

He was caught by vigilante members after stealing only one bra.

Nollywood actor, Gideon Okeke has narrated his recent ugly encounter with officers of the Nigerian Police Force and LASTMA.

Narrating his experience, the actor said,

' yesterday, after I had finished from a scheduled meeting with Charles Otudor I left the Eko Hotel and joined the gradually building traffic leading on to Lekki'.

Only a few minutes from my meeting, had I unfortunately run into a minor collision with another driver, Mrs Mosunmola Ilori, at the Lekki Phase 1 roundabout. We both inspected the damage(s), conferred and thought first, to get off the road for oncoming traffic.

Just less than 10feet away from all this were the Lastma and Police, sharing the police post at the roundabout.

All I asked, was their assistance (witnessed by Mrs Ilori) in getting some barricades off the road for us to park properly and this scenario I have just described, turned into a full blown fiasco, seeing 4 police officers pounce on me and 2 others on Mrs Ilori and her niece.

I have come off this incident with stitches in my mouth and chin. Mrs Ilori as well, to the full glare and amazement of pedestrians and moving traffic, was ruffled up, beat, and dragged on the tarred ground. The Leading man here was one Officer IDEH DONATUS who severally pointed a gun in my chest.

A man walked straight into a canal while operating his phone.

Security cameras outside a pub in Nottingham, England, show the man engrossed in his phone while walking down the path. There was a canal covered in leaves in front of him and he walked straight into it.
People who were near The Navigation Inn at the time of his fall helped pull him out of the canal.

Annmarie Gardener, the landlady of the pub, warned people about using phones near water.

She said:

It is not usually a problem – most people know it is a canal. When you watch it he thought because the leaves were on it the canal disappeared and became a path.

He was on his phone. We do put warnings out in the pub and tell people to be careful. I think we have had one other person who slipped on the edge but he came back out.

The impersonator, Christian Adam from the Bahamas shared a video where he admitted he was behind it, and also bragged about following the internet with the fake cheating photo.

Adam who shares a striking resemblance with the rapper was pictured kissing a mystery woman, and when the photo surfaced online many believed it was Travis Scott.

The father of one was forced to deny it on Instagram, but his partner Kylie Jenner is not having it.

In her Instagram story, Kylie posted a screenshot of the video and called Adam out for his "prank." She wrote in a since-deleted note;

The premiere was being held at NeueHouse Madison Square. Special guests including #MeToo founder
Tarana Burke , cultural critic Jamilah Lemieux and accusers of R.Kelly , including Kitti Jones, Jerhonda Pace, Lisa Van Allen, Asante McGee and Lizzette Martinez among others were all asked to leave the venue following the threat.

"As a precaution, we evacuated," a Lifetime representative told The Hollywood Reporter. The premiere has been called off and Lifetime will regroup tomorrow do discuss potentially rescheduling.

"Tonight's all about the safety of everyone — we're not even thinking of what to do next yet," the representative added.

Lifetime confirmed to THR, that the caller was anonymous, but the call originated from Chicago.

According to Lifetime, the documentary series follows the various sexual assault allegations and criminal charges R.Kelly has faced over the years, and includes interviews with survivors and detailed the ways in which R. Kelly has allegedly been able to manipulate and control young women for years.

A kindhearted woman was stabbed to death after she rolled down the window of her car to give money to a woman in need.

Jacquelyn Smith, 52, was killed at about 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 1 in a neighbourhood in east Baltimore. She was riding in a car with her husband and stepdaughter after attending a family gathering when she saw a woman carrying a baby and holding a cardboard sign asking for money.

According to police, the sign read:

"Please help me feed my baby."

As Smith rolled down her window and called the woman to give her money, a man stepped forward and thanked her for her kind gesture. He then tried to snatch Smith's wallet but a struggle ensued during which he stabbed her in the chest with a knife.

Jeremy Silbert, Baltimore police’s public information officer said:

This was a good Samaritan who saw an individual holding a sign, who appeared to be down on her luck.
After stabbing Smith, the man and the needy woman fled down Valley Street while Smith's husband rushed her to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Friends say Smith was a Good Samaritan and was always ready to offer help.

The friend told CBS Baltimore that Smith was "a very loving, caring person. A very hard working woman. Just... just sweet."

Rapper, 50 Cent has publicly attacked his estranged son, Marquise Jackson, again after he was pictured with the son of Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff , a convicted American drug trafficker who was sentenced to life in prison in 2007 after being convicted of several murder-for-hires.

In 2000, 50 Cent was shot 9 times but survived the shooting. After recovering the rapper alleged in a leaked track,'Ghetto Qu'ran' where he claimed McGriff is behind the attempt on his life, during which he was shot 9 times.

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade had difficulties having a child that they dared not hope when they finally realized they were expecting their newborn daughter Kaavia James.

Gabrielle, who had suffered multiple miscarriages and failed IVFs, said they had been disappointed so many times that they were living in fear and dared not get too excited as they awaited the birth of their baby, lest they be disappointed again.

But four months to the birth of their first daughter, they decided to let go and have faith. It worked and the couple are now proud parents of a daughter they cherish so much.

The Nigeria Football Federation president Amaju Pinnick on Thursday promised to reward the Super Falcons with $10,000 if they retain the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations title in Ghana by defeating South Africa on Saturday.

The Falcons battle Banyana Banyana of South Africa in the final of the competition at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana on Saturday. The two teams have qualified for the France 2019 World Cup but while the Falcons are seeking to win their ninth African crown, the South Africans want to claim their first title.

Pinnick, who visited the team at their hotel in Accra on Thursday, appealed to the team to win the title as a birthday gift for him. The CAF 1st vice president’s birthday is on Saturday. The Falcons had earned $3,000 for a win in the group phase but were earmarked for $5,000 each for victory in the final.

In a statement on Thursday, Pinnick thanked the team for their resilience, adding that the trophy would be an appreciation of President Muhammadu Buhari’s efforts to football development in the country.

“I want to let you know that the government and the good and great people of Nigeria are happy with your performance in the championship so far. They are looking forward to you retaining the trophy by beating South Africa on Saturday.

“Let me commend the lofty commitment, dedication and resilience that you have displayed so far in the championship, alongside that unique Nigerian spirit that was mostly in evidence against the Cameroonians in the semi-final.

The CCTV Footage of a yet-to-be identified man stealing from a boutique in Osapa London, Lagos has surfaced online. The thief arrived the store at about 12am yesterday Tuesday November 27th and carried out his operation for two hours.

He stole bags, shoes, clothes and other items worth millions of Naira.

The Department of State Services (DSS) yesterday rescued an American citizen, Tawanda Lynn Jackson, who was held hostage by one Mathew Adedoyin, her acquaintance, whom she had met on social media.

Parading the prime suspect and his accomplice at the DSS Lagos command, director of the command, Mrs. Betty Adoki, said Jackson, 46, who had arrived in Lagos on November 11 and was received at the airport by Adedoyin, was held hostage on November 21, where she was allegedly raped several times by the suspect.

According to her, the American Embassy in Lagos had reported to the command about Jackson’s abduction and they immediately commenced investigation, which culminated in the raid of the criminal hideout by a team of security operatives and military personnel of the 9 Brigade, Nigeria Army, Lagos.

Adoki said the suspect had lured the black American mother of five through social media, purportedly for a visit, claiming to be a wealthy prince from Arogbatesu royal family of Ile-Ife, Osun State, with the intention of extorting money from her.

She explained that while on the dating site, Adedoyin, 40, lied to the victim that he was an exporter of ginger and bitter cola, with a large plantation of cocoa and palm oil, claiming that he had a lot of slaves working for him.

She added that Adedoyin, carrying on with his deceit, was discovered to have reserved Protea Hotel, Ikeja, as accommodation for the victim while in Nigeria, but deliberately moved her to another hotel, in order to prevent the monitoring of Jackson by the embassy, while he seized the victim’s international passport, credit card and United States identity card in order to prevent her possible escape.

The suspected abductors received the victim at Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Ikeja, Lagos on November 11 and promptly lodged her at Turn Up Hotel, Ipaja for three days before moving her to a prepared hideout in Abule Egba, where she was held hostage.

She said investigation would be intensified after which the suspects would be prosecuted in line with relevant laws.

Speaking to newsmen while being paraded, Adedoyin, who claimed to be a real estate agent, denied abducting the victim or raping her, saying that she asked him for sex, adding that her flying down to Nigeria was of her own volition with the intention of getting married to him.

He admitted that on her arrival in Lagos, he lodged her at Turn Up Hotel, but had to move her to his friend’s house for her to stay pending when he could raise money for her return ticket to the United States.

He also denied seizing the victim’s passport, saying that he only helped her keep it safe after he realised that she was carefree with her bag containing the documents anytime they went out.

His accomplice, Idowu Ayeni, said he was uncomfortable when the suspect brought the victim to his house but had no concrete plans on when they intended to leave. Ayeni, who said he works as a litigation officer with a law firm, denied having anything to do with the suspect’s plans, saying his involvement was letting them stay for a few days in his apartment.

The Kano State Police Command have arrested an alleged gang of anal sex workers enticing unsuspecting male victims into homosexuality from various parts of Kano City.

The Spokesman for the command, SP Magaji Musa Majia identified the suspects as Suraja Shehu of Layin Lale Cinema Gorondutse Qtrs and Yahaya Sharif of Rijiyar Lemo Qtrs respectively.

He said the suspects go around to identify prominent men within the city and obtain their mobile contacts through which they establish a homo sexual relationship with the willing targets and the unwilling ones they blackmail for sodomy.

Majia said the suspects were using whatsApp messenger to share phone numbers and other scandalous information about their unwilling targets to ridicule them and smear their reputation.

He said sometimes the suspects demand ransom from their targets, threatening to divulge the secrets on social media and private local Radio Stations if their ransom terms are not met.

An 11-year-old boy was forced to have sex with his stepmother in a bid to "cure him" of homosexuality.

Daniel Dowling's father made him watch porn and participate in threesomes in his own home in Bracknell, Berkshire, England, when he was just 11 years old. The sexual torment went on for 3 years.

Daniel has now waived his anonymity, allowing his father and stepmother to be named for the first time.

Now 36, Daniel spoke to The Mirror and disclosed that he is "still haunted" by his stepmother’s perfume decades after the sexual abuse.

During his father Richard Dowling and stepmother Annette Breakspear’s trials, Dowling, now 62, said he was "trying to steer him [Daniel] in the right direction and not to go to the way of being gay."

It was revealed that Richard Dowling forced his son Daniel to give his stepmom "goodnight kisses" while she was chained to the bed naked. On one occasion, he punched Daniel after he refused to perform a sex act on his stepmother.

Daniel said of his stepmom:

She’d instruct me on what to do. Sometimes when Dad wasn’t there she’d ask me into her room for handling and intercourse.

The abuse ended when the couple broke up in 1996.

However, Daniel was later targeted by another paedophile aged 16. He opened up to police after images were found of him in the paedophile’s home.

But his dad and stepmom were interviewed and no arrests were made.

Years passed and Daniel became depressed and suicidal. In 2015, he took action himself after an attempt to take his own life. He managed to record his father admitting the abuse, which the dad later blamed on "undiagnosed depression".

Richard Dowling was jailed for five years and Breakspear for eight for the abuse.

A 25-year-old Nigerian identified as Okoye Ejike Kennedy was arrested in Uttam Nagar, Delhi for posing as a German and allegedly duped people on the pretext of selling second hand cars at very cheap rates.

A K Singla, additional commissioner of police (crime) on Friday, said that one Sudhakar Manda, a resident of Mayur Vihar, wanted to buy an SUV. So he logged on to a portal selling used cars and checked out the listings. He was surprised to find an almost new Nissan Terrano at a throwaway price of Rs 4.5 lakh.

The ownership details were impressive too — the car apparently belonged to a senior official of the German embassy who was selling it as he was being repatriated.

Sudhakar contacted the “official” and paid 10% as advance to seal this lucrative deal. He was shocked when he was turned away from the embassy on the date of delivery. He then approached the police for help.

Crime Branch arrested Okoye in this regard. He duped several people using the same modus operandi. His cellphone and laptop have been seized.

Manda said in his complaint that Kennedy posed as Paul Heinz. He also assured him that if he wired 10% of the price to Kennedy’s secretary’s bank account, he would be allowed to see the car.
“The accused also sent a fake letter through which the victim was supposed to get entry into the embassy.

Once the money was transferred, Kennedy changed his SIM card and went underground,” DCP (crime) Bhisham Singh said.
The police tracked Kennedy down to a rented house in Uttam Nagar. He revealed during interrogation that he came to India in November 2013 on a business visa and stayed on even after the visa expired. To make easy money, he started cheating people on the pretext of selling used cars, police said.

He stole photos of cars from advertisements online and created his own ads for the same cars at cheaper prices. He would ask potential victims to wire money to a bank account he opened in Imphal.
Police suspect the involvement of a woman friend of Kennedy in this.
