A lady was, yesterday, caught with the boyfriend of her heavily pregnant bestie in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The lady, identified as Mide, who is also in a serious relationship with one Dammy aka Ever Kinging, allegedly traveled all the way from Ekiti State, to sleep with T-Paid, her bestie’s boyfriend.

According to their mutual friends who caught her, Mide, on her phone, saved T-Paid’s name as Ruka – which is a female name – just to hide their affair.

A 30-year-old man who specialises in robbing bank customers at Automated Teller Machine, ATM, points, while making withdrawals, has been arrested in Anambra State. .

Obinna Okafor was arrested on November, 20, in Nnewi, at an Access Bank branch. The suspect specializes in duping unsuspecting victims around automated teller machine centres by swapping their ATM cards with another stolen ATM in his possession. .

Exhibits found in his possession include: eight different ATM cards suspected to have been stolen from his victims and sum of N120,000 already withdrawn from his victim’s account at the point of his arrest.

The way things are going wrongly nowadays is so alarming. A report was made of a driver turned kidnapper who abducted his boss's children, two boys and a girl and eventually murdered two out of the three when his demands were not meant.

The driver who has been their driver for years, last week, he took the kids from school but rather than bring them home, he drove them to a bush, called the mom, turned out to be a kidnapper and asked for a ransom of N3million.

The Mum who doesn't have that sum, pleaded with him to no avail. He resulted to stabbing the kids, killing the boys and the girl who is the elder, now in intensive Care Unit at an undisclosed hospital.

The horrifying moment a mother who was "high on ecstasy" dropped her baby and cracked his skull while she was fleeing from police was filmed and has now been made public.

Kayla Morgan, 23, can be seen letting go of the three-month-old infant while being pursued by cops along Highway 40 in Marion County, Florida, on Monday.

A female sheriff’s deputy was seen trying to stop her to talk to her but she refused to stop, despite the cop telling her that she is not in any trouble. The deputy then began walking faster in an attempt to reach the mother and speak with her but she picked up speed and ran. As she ran, she allowed the child to fall to the ground.

An arrest report describes how Morgan held the little boy "as if she were carrying a jacket over her right arm, allowing the victim to flail."

After dropping the child, deputies managed to apprehend Morgan. She was zapped with a taser twice before being arrested.

She went on to tell cops that she believed a monster was trying to suck her blood, and that she had been high on ecstasy for three days, it is alleged.

Morgan has been charged with aggravated child abuse and resisting arrest.

The Police Force Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Department of the Police (FCIID) on Monday charged three men before a Federal High Court, Lagos, over alleged cyber crime and impersonating President Muhammadu Buhari and his wife, Aisha.

The accused are Julius Anyawu, a.k.a Musa Mohammed, 48; Kenneth Ezeonu a.k.a Abdul Karim, 45; and George Agu a. k. a Dr Lina Norman, 48.

Newsmen report that the accused, who were arraigned on 16 counts bordering on cybercrime, had no legal representatives.

They all pleaded not guilty to the charges.

After their pleas, the prosecutor, Mr Benson Asogwa, urged the court to remand the accused in prison and fix a date for trial.

In the charge, the prosecution alleged that the accused conspired with others who are now at large to commit the offences on Aug.8 at No. 10, Hassan Idowu St., Aguda, Surulere, Lagos.

They were said to have been arrested by CP Dan Okoro, Head of Anti-Fraud Unit in Alagbon, in Lagos.

They were said to have forged electronic messages to one Engr.Gmenezes, with the tag “Attention: Geraldo Francisco Menezes”, purporting same to be sent by his Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari, and Mrs Aisha Buhari.

The message was said to be labelled: IMMEDIATE PAYMENT OF NOTIFICATION of 20.5 million dollars (equivalent of N7.4 billion).

They were also alleged to have sent electronic messages to one Madaule , with the tag “Attention: Dr Guenter Schauer” purporting same to be sent by President Buhari and the First Lady.

The were said to have requested for a special arrangement to send them funds by direct cash payment through ECOWAS headquarters in Cotonou.

The accused were also alleged to have sent false electronic messages to UBA Bank, purporting same to be sent by their Excellencies, for immediate payment notification of 20.5 million dollars.

The offences conteavened the provisions of sections 14(1), 14(2), 14(3) and 22 of the Cybercrime Prohibition Act, 2015.

Justice Kuewumi has adjourned the case until Jan. 18 for trial.

During the episode, it was revealed that a white man named Robert has been repeatedly scammed through a certain Alanna posing as Moesha. Images of the Curvy Ghanaian actress on an International passport and ID card with the name Alanna were also displayed in the show.

It was also disclosed that Robert has been sending money to the fraudster in Ghana, and at one point after he invited her over to the States, he waited for her at the airport for hours but she never showed up.

Meanwhile, actress Moesha Buduong, is yet to react to the fraud case.

President Buhari is currently meeting behind closed-doors with the representatives of Nigeria’s Governors Forum, NGF, over the controversy surrounding the N30,000 minimum wage at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Recall that the NGF in a communiqué, read by its chairman, Governor Abdul’aziz Yari of Zamfara State said the forum put together another committee to meet President Muhammadu Buhari again to work-out another formula towards resolving the minimum wage imbroglio.

Members of the committee include governors of Lagos, Kebbi, Plateau, Bauchi, Akwa Ibom, Ebonyi, Enugu and Kaduna states.

Governor Yari said the governors’ cooperation is also being sought for Tax for Health services.

A 64 year old man arrived at Huay Yot, Trang, police station, Thailand, on Sunday, to say that he had just killed a man with a shotgun in self defense. Nat had then discarded the gun by the road on the way to the station.

Police found 35 year old Apichai Cheuanut dead in Nat's house. He had died instantly and had nine holes from the blast. The gun was retrieved and examined.
Apichai was lying in a pool of blood by a bed and door and had reportedly climbed into the daughter's bedroom via the window.

Nat told officers on Sunday that he had been asleep in front of the TV with his wife when he heard his daughter cry out.

He picked up the gun lying by the bed and went to his daughter's room where he shot the intruder.

He has been charged with homicide and weapons offences.

OAP and leader of the Free the Sheeple Movement, Daddy Feeze, has written an open letter to actress/Evangelist Patience Ozokwor, who in a recent interview said she doesn't wear wigs and weavons and even closed down her thriving salon because she was informed that the hair products are dedicated to shrines in India where they are mass produced.

Ozokwor attributed the increasing rate of madness to the use of wigs.

President Buhari has once again kicked against the opposition party, PDP's plan to return to power come 2019.

While speaking to a group of South East leaders who paid him a courtesy visit in the presidential villa Abuja, President Buhari said although the forthcoming elections should not be a do or die affair, he will never support the opposition party to rule the country.

“Let anybody lead this country but not the PDP. They (PDP) were so reckless with the resources of the country. The state of infrastructure we inherited was terrible – no roads, the railway was killed and power.

They lacked conscience because anybody with a conscience will not do what they did. We will report them to Nigerians.” he said

Speaking further, President Buhari said

“We will not get tired of speaking about the golden opportunity Nigeria lost during 16 years of the PDP. We earned money, which we didn’t use. If you ruin the economy, send your children abroad to get education; won’t they come back? I said it 30 years ago that this is the only country we have. We must stay here and salvage it together''.

With less than 100 days to the next round of elections, the polity is already charged with so much toxic contents flying back and forth in the media space.

People are therefore forgetting to talk about the wonderful things happening in the country. But there should never be a time we should stop talking about where this country was in 2015 and where it is now, in terms of development:

~From 2015 till date, the Buhari/Osibanjo-led government of change has succeeded in increasing power generation, transmission and distribution in the country and there are facts to back up these claims.

~Power generation was 4000 megawatts in 2015, it has now increased to 7000 megawatts.

~Power transmission was 5000 megawatts in 2015, it has now been increased to 7000 megawatts.

~Power distribution has increased from 2,690 megawatts in 2015 to 5,222 megawatts in 2018.

~The government is in fact in the process of delivering additional generation from Kaduna, 215MW; Afam IV, 240MW; Kashimbilla, 40MW; Gurara 30MW, and Dadinkowa, 29MW.

~Nine universities and 15 markets across the country have been lit up by the power distribution drive of the Ministry of Power.

~The construction of one big hydro-power plant of 700 megawatts in Zungeru, Niger state has reached advanced stage.

~Another mighty hydro power plant in Mambilla, Taraba state with a capacity to generate 3,050 megawatts is under construction.

~90 transmission projects are also going on nationwide with Apo, Mayo Belwa, Damaturu, Maiduguri, Odogunyan and Ejigbo being the recently completed ones.

~In the area of distribution, 100 injection sub-stations and a distribution expansion programme to be funded by the Federal Government are now in an advanced state of procurement.

~The evidence of the progress recorded in the power sector under President Buhari is captured in the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) Report for Q2 of 2018, which shows a growth of 7.5 percent.

A Nigerian lady identified as Nireti has shared her encounter with a Nigerian soldier, Joshua Ishaya in Marina bridge during women marathon in Lagos.

Sharing a photo of herself and the soldier, she wrote;

“I met @joshua.ishaya.90 today while stuck on Marina bridge during the women marathon and he proved that there are still a few good men in the force. Not only was he concerned about the welfare of my children, he also stayed with my car while I went with the children and their nanny to look for a cab to take them home. I walked for almost 30 minutes down apongbon bridge and by the time I was done, cars had started moving. I ran all the way back up because I had a thousand and one "what if" running through my mind. I got to the car and @joshua.ishaya.90 was right beside my car waiting for me to come back while his mates had left with their car. He didn't want anything from me, he said he had to keep his promise. He had been at the fore front of the boko haram war and he showed me his war scars. He was shot, he had another scar on his head from an IED. His brother was killed when the terrorists attaced their base. I asked him why they both joined the force and he said they loved it . His dad is also a retired soldier. I really appreciate you officer and thank you for your service to Nigeria and to me. God bless you real good.”

A former stripper has taken to Instagram to cry out as she continues to suffer complications from butt surgery gone wrong. Known as Desiree, the mother of two appears to have had the worst luck. She was attacked outside her birthday party in 2017, smashed on the face with a stiletto, earlier this year, she served time in jail, though she didn’t reveal why. And now, she is bedridden from botched butt injections.

She wrote on Instagram yesterday;

Things are really going bad for me right now I went and got butt injections back in 2010 Through 2012 and now it’s effecting my health. The people that did my injections are now in jail serving a life sentence because somebody died from these illegal shots not to long ago so I can’t reach out to them to fix this Problem .

I have silicone all up my back from these illegal shots and I know I’m not the only girl that has them. I encourage you ladies all to love your body for what it is because no matter how God made you he made each of us special I’ve made a lot of bad choices in my lifetime but I never understood that one mistake can mess up your whole life expensive surgeries can go wrong and so can inexpensive ones some days I can’t walk .

I can’t play with my kids and somedays I can’t move I regret these shots everyday.I wake up everyday in pain and I been praying everyday that God take my pain away I know what I did i did it to myself but everybody makes mistakes. The Bayelsa State Volunteer Security Outfit, at the early hours of Wednesday, 14th November, apprehended18 year old cultist identified as Ebi Odoh from Torugbene in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.

The victim, Marvelous Peter from Imo State while reporting the incident to the media unit of the security outfit, said Eki Odoh and his friend were at the verge of attacking him just to forcefully collect an android phone from his pocket. But he was lucky as some men around the Tombia axis saw what was happening, and immediately rescued him while others apprehended the suspects.

Ebi Odoh has been arrested and is being held in custody by the anti-cultism unit as he confessed to be a member of the Dabam confraternity popularly known as Bobos.
His friend identified as Samuel is at large and investigations are ongoing to also arrest him.

President George Manneh Weah has praised his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron for advancing the cause of global peace through the maiden edition of the Paris Peace Forum which convened on Sunday, November 11, 2018 in Paris, France.

The Liberian chief executive said the convergence of world leaders in Paris to discuss the consolidation of world peace was a step in the right direction and that Liberia whole-heartedly supports such an initiative.

Speaking shortly following the close of the Peace Forum, President Weah said its is through the collective political will of leaders of the world, forming strong partnerships to resolve global problems that lasting peace, security and development can be attained and maintained.

Earlier, French President Macron hosted over 70 world leaders at his Elysee Palace residence. President Weah used the occasion to hold brief discussions on peace and Liberia’s development objectives with several world leaders including US President Donald J. Trump, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Russian President Vladimir Putin and the host President Macron among others.

President Weah has directed Foreign Minister Gbehzongar Findlay to utilize diplomatic channels to ensure opportunities for deeper bilateral discussions with those leaders in the near future.
Meanwhile, the Liberian President will on Monday November 12, 2018, join President Macron, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and UNESCO Director -General Audrey Azoulay as a guest of honor during the launch of the 2018 edition of the Internet Governance Forum ath UNESCO headquarters.

Prior to the launch, President Weah will lead the Liberian delegation in bilateral talks with the UNESCO Director-General and her team. Focus of the discussion will include ongoing cooperation between Liberia and UNESCO in the areas of Technical Vocational Education & Training (TVET), Education, Sports and preservation of Liberia’s cultural and historical heritage.

Wife of the President, Mrs Aisha Buhari, has presented an award of excellence to a janitor with Lakewood Development Company, Miss Mary Ishaya, who returned a lost bag she picked up in the male toilet of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Mrs Buhari , who presented the award at a brief reception in the State House, Abuja, urged Nigerians to “emulate the uncommon honesty and incorruptible disposition exhibited by Miss Ishaya.”

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalled that Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) had on Sept. 11, 2018 on its official tweeter handle @FAAN_Official tweeted: “we celebrate Miss Mary Ishaya who works for Lakewood Company, the cleaning contractor responsible for cleaning Abuja Airport.

“She found the following valuable items in the toilet: 2,000 dollars, 140 Canadian dollars, eight pieces of coins, N21,850, two international passports, four ATM cards, four bus cards and baggage claim tags.

Ishaya thanked the wife of the President for recognising her action, adding that the award would encourage her to do more.

The Vice Chairman of the Company, Mr Jonathan Irafor, expressed gratitude to Mrs Buhari for finding Ishaya worthy of the award.

According to him, the honour is not just on Ishaya alone but the entire company because that is what it preaches to to its workers.

Irafor said that the company would continue to do its best to uphold honesty, transparency and integrity in line with the change mantra of the present administration.

Arsenal star, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been named Premier League Player of the Month for October, becoming the first Gunners player to land such an award since Olivier Giroud in March 2015.

The Gabonese striker was on fire in front of goal, recording five strikes and one assist in just three league outings.

Aubameyang is in his first full season at Arsenal after arriving from Borussia Dortmund in January and the forward has played a key role in the club's strong start to the campaign.

A man identified as Njama Paul Asu has disclosed that he carried his power generator to University of Calabar Teaching Hospital during his son's photo-therapy in the hospital.

The man who shared this in his tweeter handle said his power generator served as an alternative power source for his son's treatment.

He tweeted;

“I had to bring a generator to the hospital(UCTH) as an alternative power source when my son was undergoing phototherapy after being diagnosed of jaundice at birth”

The Independent National Electoral Commission on Friday released the list of governorship candidates in Imo State, missing out the name of the candidate representing the ruling All Progressives Congress, Punch has revealed.

The electoral umpire published 67 governorship candidates and their respective running mates at its office in Owerri, the state capital.

Punch further revealed that among the top names who made the INEC lists are a former deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha of the People’s Democratic Party, Ike Ibe of the Independent Party and a former Senator, Ifeanyi Araraume of the All Progressives Grand Alliance.

Others are, Micheal Ikoku of the Young Democratic Party, Linus Okorie of the Young Progressives Party and Alloysius Osuji of Mass Action Joint Alliance.

Three women emerged as governorship candidates. They are, Omeogu Chidiebere of the African Action Congress, Joy Udodiri of MMN and Adaku Ibe of the Democratic Peoples Party.

A source at the INEC office told Punch that there were court orders stopping the Commission from publishing any name as the governorship candidate of the APC in the state.

Uche Nwosu and Senator Hope Uzodinma have been battling, both in court and within the party for who should be its candidate.

While Nwosu was declared the winner of the October 6 APC governorship primary, Uzodinma was pronounced winner of the October 1 primary which allegedly did not hold in the state.
