you benefited from the government from about 140 million plus people is your luck sir. It's not like you are in anyway better than others that became victim of the government. Well it's obvious you didn't read properly from the first page where i said i need to stay in ghana for a while.. If i didn't get a job before i'd proceed to my next destination that won't kill me.. I never for once searched for any job in my own country, so how much more of someone else country? So thanks for your contribution.
I wish you luck brother in your endeavours. It's just that you were too harsh on your words with Nigeria. Success is yours. Amen

your entire generations are fools.. Starting from your father to your mother to your brothers and sisters and if you have a wife and children including them and also your great grand parents.. They are all fools.. Yes, they are all fools. If you think you can just come here to start telling me trash because the internet has made it possible for you then i am sorry. As much as i hate troubles, i love it sometimes. You want some? Now bring it on. Did you not pass through primary school at all? I can see you lack knowledge and i wasn't supposed to reply you but seems you'd love to dance with the devil. Now let the game begin.
I have no qualms with you. But you should never insult Nigeria a "mumu country". Period. If you are so blind to access opportunities in Nigeria to better your life, some of us still do. It is same Nigeria you called mumu country, that I finished my first degree in Economics from OAU at affordable tuition fee. The same Nigerian government offered me postgraduate scholarship to study for my masters degree in Europe. After graduation, I came back to this country. And it is same Nigerian government that grant me 5 million loan to start my company through Bank of industry at 9 percent interest rate with tenor duration of 5 years. I didn't know anyone, I just submitted my business plan. I have 6 permanent staff employed in my fruit juice factory. Stay there in Ghana and continue your garri drinking. Everyone knows there is no job for Nigerians in Ghana. Ghana is only good for doing business. And you didn't go with enough money that can start a business in Ghana.I just hope you won't deceive other gullible Nigerians to join you in your penury in Ghana. Rubbish.

Inferiority complex is what you're asking him of and that exactly is what you're oozing in your own post.

Now, op is drinking garri and he's living well with peace of mind ... it's none of ya biz.

If he likes, let him sleep on the floor as long as there is peace of mind, it's his biz.

Mind you, if he works in Ghana, he won't be paid in naira.

Purchasing power of both currencies differs.

Stop sounding like you're been fed in Nigeria, cos if you genuinely work for money here and see how fast you spend em, you won't type some stuffs on here.

Live and let's live.

Look not down on no one.

Correct those who you think are getting things wrong.

Don't curse.

Seriously, I have no issue with anyone if he/she chooses to relocate to Ghana. It's not my problem. But what I won't tolerate is someone calling Nigeria a "mumu country" on a forum just because he finds himself in Ghana. What insolence! If he doesn't have any respect for his country "Nigeria", some of us have respect for Nigeria.

regret? God forbid.. Ghana here is better than that mumu country. You walk freely, tight security, power 24/7, everything is cheap and the quality is f*king great. No sars ha s stopped me to harass me since have been here, even the last time the police stopped our bus while traveling, he checked every boys including their own citizen and after the search, he apologize like 'i am sorry for the inconviniency, you can go' unlike our police that might even shoot because they didn't find any incriminating stuff with you. The quality of their pure water nylon ehn, as thick as some pucci.. The only regret i have is why i wasted so much time in that my mumu country. Here is so f*cking cool my brother.
You are a big f.ool for your comment about Nigeria. From your posts, I can see how you are living in penury in Ghana. A bloody failure in Nigeria. Continue with garri drinking. If you are wise, can't you see price of goods is more expensive in Ghana than Nigeria? Which means cost of living is cheaper in Nigeria compared to Ghana. If you can't make it in Nigeria I wonder how you will make it Ghana. Get back to me when you get a job in Ghana.

Mark achieved more globally in 6yrs than Dangote has done in 40yrs.

PoliticsRe: Poverty Rate Of The 36 States Of The Federation Zamfara Top The Chart With 91% by edoman2016: 8:38am On Oct 27, 2017
If Nigeria should break up, Northern states will be poor just as their neighbouring countries such as Chad, Niger Republic, Mali etc.

As an economists, northern Nigeria has a long way to go in economic development. They have the highest poverty rate, lowest literacy ratio, highest malnutrition, highest birth ratio as well as high disease rate in Nigeria. That region is a curse to Nigeria. They are bringing Nigeria backward.

Everyone is just over quoting the price of land in his/her area. If the cost of land is indeed in millions of naira as most of you quoted, then most Nigerians will be homeless.

Artisan such as welder, vulcanizer, tailors, civil servant, bricklayers would not have bought a land and build their own house in the city too. Do you think they earn millions of naira too? You guys should keep deceiving yourself. Rubbish.
BusinessRe: Skye Bank, First Bank Take Over Evans Medical Assets by edoman2016: 5:25pm On Oct 22, 2017
Jman06:
To start with, medical reps don't give out large quantity of products to pharmacies until trust has been built over time. They weigh the capability of the pharmacy to pay up before giving out products on credit. In the event that the pharmacy defaults in paying the debt, they mount pressure on them. This could involve engaging the services of street boys or soldiers (in extreme cases). Applying the instrumentality of the law don't work in many cases because the law tends to delay the process and may not even get the debtor to pay up. However, rep would have given the defaulting customer a long rope before applying the pressure tactics.
Thanks for the response. So I will like to ask please if you know how many days or weeks of credit period they grant to the pharmacies before they pay up?
BusinessRe: Skye Bank, First Bank Take Over Evans Medical Assets by edoman2016: 2:31pm On Oct 22, 2017
Jman06:
That's not the case. Medical representatives have have strategies for debt recovery. I have worked as one. Most pharmacies and hospitals pay up debts as and when due. Reps have drastic measures they use to recover debts from defaulting ones.
The problem is always with the management! Some managers spend their company's monies recklessly. Poor management of resources is the reason many companies fail and this is not peculiar to pharmaceutical companies.
How can medical representative recover debt from their defaulters? Cause I believe it is very difficult to force a debtor to pay up if he/she refuses to pay. That's even if the debtors has not relocate his/her pharmacy without notifying you. Maybe you can explain the strategies medical representative uses to collect payment on the due dates from their debtor.
BusinessRe: Skye Bank, First Bank Take Over Evans Medical Assets by edoman2016: 10:41am On Oct 22, 2017

Don't pity all these pharmaceutical companies who don't know that pharmaceutical company is is a business and not drug prescription. Go and check the successful one are run by none pharmacist, more of them will come down because of poor business decision. Idumota boys are teaching them how to do the business. Note that there is no longer any difference between them and idumota boys in open market, they all do buy and sell, you call yourself a pharmaceutical company. You can not boast of any product you developed and you are projecting using gsk in the us. American business model can not work in Nigeria
I think the major challenges pharmaceutical companies in Nigeria face is that they supply drugs to hospitals and pharmacies on credit. Some of these hospitals and pharmacies delay payment after selling the drugs on there shelf or even run away with the payment. Hence, it affects the cash flow of the pharmaceutical companies to sustain their business in Nigeria. And if they refuse to supply on credit, there will be no patronage from pharmacies.

Shouting GDP but at night[/quote]You don't know the meaning of GDP. That's why you think its an irrelevant word. GDP is the sum total of economic activities in a country. It determines the economic growth of that country. And it is only GDP we can use to compare the economy of countries in Africa presently.

No single country in Africa is yet among developed countries of the world. Because economic development is completely different from economic growth (GDP). There are critical criteria a country must have attained before it can be called a developed country. Even China as a country that her GDP is in trillions of dollars is still classified as a developing country and not a developed country. Fellow economists on this forum will understand what I am saying and not for a layman.

boss no offence but at times you should listen to what those who have traveled tell you.you just cant be of the fact that lagos has greater gdp than ghana and kenya yet ur people are flocking everyday to these countries for better living.I travel to lagos every two months since i work with an airline and i can tell you ,comfortably lagos is a human jungle.....no lights no water ,if it rains the whole area turns into a swimming pool,In short nothing works in lagos....mind you im not nigerian im a kenyan.....lets not get to the fact that everybody in lagos looks angry and frustrated....everywhere i went there were just sad faces.....your public transport is a mess....i was actually given a classroom chair to sit on in a public car.I dont think no sane kenyan would want to live in nigeria......ask ur nigerian peeps in kenya.....they see the place as heaven...but i understand why
I hope you know Lagos is a mega city and it is also the smallest state in term of Land size in Nigeria. Because Lagos is a mega city and has a population of 21 million people, it is overcrowded. And that will surely comes with its challenges which you have stated. But from purely economic angle, Lagos is the fifth largest economy in the whole of Africa.

There is incredible investment in infrastructural development as well as on security in Lagos state. Because the current governor acknowledge the challenges that comes with mega city such as Lagos.

With regards to Nigerians living in Ghana or Kenya for greener pastures, you need to understand that migration is natural to human race on earth. People will always have different reasons for migrating from one countries to the other. We have large number of Chinese, Indians, etc working for companies in Nigeria. Does that mean Nigeria's economy is better than China economy? Figure it out by yourself.

you must be a quak or an illiterate economist disgracing yourself on social media. I am currently in Mauritius were I pay 5k ruppes per month for just self contain which is just a normal house with nothing special. That Is equivalent to 50k naira going by the current exchange rate. Tell me how many Nigerians go pay 50k per month for self con for naija. And you are foolishly talking about what our useless naira can get us in other Africa countries. Abeg no dey call urself economist again ooo...that is a noble and honourable profession. With the way u reason I no sure say u don even go badagry sef,let alone Cotonou
You must be a fool. And you know what, you have answered my question already in your comments. If you spend 5k rupees which is equivalent to 50k naira in Nigeria as you stated for self contain in Mauritius. It shows Nigeria's currency which is naira has higher value than rupees because average rent of self contained apartment in Nigeria is between 10k-15k per month with good facilities .

You must be an illiterate if you think in this lifetime Mauritius can ever be compared to Nigeria. I am sure the GDP of my state in Nigeria, Edo state is still far ahead of Mauritius. If you want me to give you statistics to back my claims, holla at me. I have travelled to several countries in Africa and I repeat none is in Nigeria league except south Africa. Why do you think it is only south Africa companies among Africa countries that is able to penetrate into Nigeria market? Do you know the number of countries in Africa our indigenous companies has expanded into?

Oga, I beg to disagree. Kenya, Botswana and South Africa have a lot of things you can write about. Power supply in each of these countries, beats our own hands down. Not to even talk of road infrastructure and others. You need to visit these countries to appreciate how far they have gone in terms of infrastructure, and standard of living. Don't look at size or landmass or population alone. Yes, Nigeria is bigger than those 3 countries, but is it better in terms of infrastructure and standard of living? No.

Even Namibia as small as it is, is also not a bad place.
As far as Africa is concerned, no country come close to Nigeria except south Africa. I am a seasoned economist and I am telling you the fact. Kenya and Ghana are in the league of just Lagos; a state in Nigeria. And you know what, the GDP of Lagos is still higher than Ghana and Kenya. I repeat in Africa, only south Africa can withstand Nigeria when it comes to economic growth (GDP) and indices in the whole of Africa. What the value of naira can purchase, the equivalent in other African countries can not buy it except south African Rand. It's an indisputable fact. You will appreciate Nigeria as a country, when conferences and business meetings take you to other African countries. Then you will know how Nigeria are ahead of them except south Africa
