This is the major reason why I don't subscribe to buying non dividend paying equities!

When you can't sell,there is no dividend to compensate for your inability to sell!!

Let assume you bought either of Fidelity bank ,Access bank ,Uba , Zenith bank , GTBank or even Stanbic IBTC Bank you would be entitled to around N3,000,000 dividend every year and you can easily sell the shares any time you like!!!

I know of a guy that abandoned his schooling in a federal university in south south of Nigeria just because of a single course.
