Sir,
I thought they declared 10k or so last year?
Plus a bonus of 1unit of FBNH share for every 10 units of FBNH shares(that is,1 for 10); this will give you a total cash equivalence of more than 100 Kobo.

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-04-08/stock-trading-plummets-as-nigeria-stands-firm-on-naira-chart

Turnover on Nigeria’s All Share Index fell to $672 million in the first quarter, the lowest since at least 2009, when Bloomberg began compiling data.

Volumes may drop further as foreign investors shun the market while they wait for a devaluation of the naira and as Africa’s biggest economy grows at its slowest pace in 17 years, according to Robert Omotunde, an analyst at Lagos-based broker Afrinvest West Africa Ltd.

“A lot of foreign investors are cautious because of the foreign-exchange risk that’s just waiting to crystallize,” he said. “And some listed companies are barely keeping afloat.”

This just the beginning cool
You're doing a great job! We need those who can create fear so that price can fall in order for us to buy!

FBNH's close period is a kind of 'pseudo close period' for the insiders to buy before they release the result! #Don't let them deceive you.

If first Bank by chance declare 50 kobo at current price of #3.30 kobo , their mark down price will be #2.80 kobo, and will later go down possibly to #2.30 kobo, what if nothing is been declare?.
Is like you don't know FBNH? Nothing less than 40 Kobo will be declared as dividend!
BusinessRe: Help! First Bank Is Charging Me Monthly Withdrawal Fee On My Savings Acct!! by EDUECO(m): 12:40pm On Apr 08, 2016
OBAGADAFFI:
LOL, so some people still believe in saving account interest.

Their is noting like saving account anymore, if you don't withdraw your money, the bank will help you withdraw the money through their charges.

That best why to save your money, is investing in funds that will protect the capital and add interests.
A dividend of at least 10 percent is better than Savings Account! And this is the period of getting dividends in the Nigerian Stock Exchange! #All banks are the same!

When you cancel an order to make a change is what I call editing;this also applies in Morgan's iTrade.

Meristem.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by EDUECO(m): 1:01pm On Apr 07, 2016
Elai147:
Based on what I have heard from customers of Inv one, they must be almost as useless as Meristem. Any trading platform that doesn't allow investors to edit or cancel their orders is a nonsense platform. It is better to move your portfolio to MorganCapital and enjoy what you are paying for. Meristem used to allow orders to be edited but not anymore, and stop loss orders are no longer possible on their platform.
Orders can still be edited!

Okezie and and family, shareholders are watching!
I am a shareflinger not a shareholder ! Banking business is a very lucrative one,so any bank that does not declare good net profit and pay good dividend is probably taking shareholders for a ride!

I am not comfortable with diamond banks ownership structure which is dominated by a single family. It reminds me of Oceanic bank.
Diamond Bank is probably a good example of banks that make huge profit but only declare a part of the profit ! They usually embezzle the profits by increasing their cost of doing business(there are corporate thieves everywhere).

Sir, i really commend your fighting spirit but in all, be careful of expectations concerning FBNH result. It might not add up the way you envisage. Best of luck sir
Sir,thank you! My expectation isn't too high(minimum of 40 Kobo dividend and maximum of 100 Kobo).

Which kain case UACN get, that made the company had to spend N151 million on legal exoenses.

IT expenses went up from N210 million in 2014 to N272 million in 2015.

N1.27 billion was used for vehicle maintence and fuel in 2015, this figure may go up by 40% in 2016.

N922 million was spent on electricity and power in 2014, but went down to N876 million in 2015. I observed that the ac in my favourite Mr Biggs is not usually on whenever they are on generator, and in most cases they have a timetable for when the generator can be used.

The marketing and advert expense of N1.18 billion ought to have a positive impact on the revenue and bottomline.

Distribution expense went up from N620 million in 2014 to N667 million in 2015.
This is probably embezzlement or increase in cost! Those who manage the company are humans not gods or God(they are probably 'chopping' money)!

Not a buy /sell recommendation
From the price of N3.51, insiders probably brought price to N3.00 in order to buy ! The dividend may not be less than 50 Kobo!
