Maybe he wasn't well oriented on camp rules. He's a graduate so I assume he's learned. When the soldiers refused him passage, he should have easily called the attention of the camp co-ordinator who's the next thing to his father/mother there. Use the officials to get what u want so long as its legit. Not confronting those illeterate standard six holders in army uniforms. Little wonder I was nick-named "exceptional corper" in those days! Intending corp members should learn from this! |
Basildvalour:Then u should help him go and marry Caroline. No be him life? |
UnknownT:even though they'v not lived up to expectations lately, they are way ahead of us in terms of organization and prominence and that alone puts them ahead of us. |
denedene:That was a World Cup group game. The op meant "Friendly match" What has Nigeria got to offer? We should finish playing against the likes of Turkey, Lithuania, Chile, Uganda etc b4 we think of playing the top teams. |
Chinaedum Osuebi (a Nigerian resident in the UK shared this on his facebook page). I have just voted in the on going UK elections. Frankly, whereas I love Nigeria, I couldn't be more proud being British. At the pooling boot, it was so quite and serene - calm and peaceful. There were no security agencies of any sort. I did not find or see any politician bullying voters and sharing money to get last minute votes. There was no bank holiday declared. The election took place on a working day- Thursday. It took me less than two minutes to to do the needful. There were no card readers. I didn't have to visit the booth twice to vote in one election. During the campaigns,The Queen didn't threaten to drown anybody in River Thames including immigrants if they didn't vote her preferred candidate whoever that is. Disabled persons had special arrangements to suit their needs. At the campaign stages, Politicians including the PM entertained questions and concerns from the masses without his aides bullying anyone. People asked questions without fear of being exiled or killed. At the pooling boot, I didn't find any under aged voters. I actually went to the boot with my 12 year old Prince Ikenna, and he knew he is not due or expected to vote until another 6 years, if there will be elections when he turns 18, that is. At the heat of the campaigns I saw very few bills boards or none at all. Even when there were there, they were modest. I never saw the face of any politician in bill boards. Campaigns went on smoothly without any sort of molestation, assault or even loss of life. There were series of debates on radio and television. Politicians had their ideologies and manifestos to hand to sell to voters and woo their votes. I saw few branded busses. People went about their normal duties with no disruption of any sort. Cars were not shared to political jobbers. Indeed what I experienced was complete opposite to what I experienced in Nigeria less than two months ago. The list is endless. Nonetheless, I still love my country, but if I have a choice I will check out like Andy and never worry a damn about my beloved Nigeria. However one thing I find common with politicians is that they are all liars. But at least in advanced democracies, politicians are more decent and considerate with their lies. They are not greedy and it's not a do or die affair. In the next 24 hours from now, the results will be out. There will be a winner and losers, but no election tribunals. I am gutted for Nigeria and Nigerians because what we preach is democracy, but practice "dem all crazy".... Thanks to musical icon and legend Fela Anikulakpi Kuti of blessed memory. See you guys later. |

I'm telling y'all confidently that MAINSTREET bank and KEYSTONE bank will certainly close shop. ENTERPRISE may be acquired by a much robust bank. Its not a prophesy, its a vision! |
Tickets for the bout - billed as 'The Fight of the Century' - changed hands for as much as $350,000 (about £232,000 and =N=66.5million) and American fans were charged almost $100 (£66) to watch on television. Crazy, absolutely crazy. Pay 66.5million Naira to watch a fight? Even the greatest fight in history - David vs Goliath was free (FOC). |

The 25 years old lady he duped claims she has given him more than N4m. According to Saturday Sun, Pastor Abel Benard Aniude fraudulently collected N4m from Ojiaku Chiamaka and promised to marry her. In an interview, Pastor Aniude explains saying: “I am an Assistant Pastor with Triumphant Kings Assembly. I have been in ministry for five years now. I am jobless. I met Chiamaka on facebook in December, 2013. I promised to marry her. Then, she started sending money to my bank account in Enugu. I visited her at Ibadan twice and collected the sum of N1million from her. I have to send my wife away with my two kids from my house to Aba. When I told my wife that I wanted to marry a second wife but she refused, that prompted me to send her packing. I used part of the money Chiamaka was sending to buy a car and built a bungalow in my village at Nochele Ndeaboli in Aliri Local Government Area, Enugu State. I deceived her that I wanted to marry her on Christmas day, December 25, 2014. I also lied to her that I had a motor accident. I rescheduled it for February 14, 2015. I lied to her again that armed robbers attacked me. I rescheduled it for Easter period, April 4, 2015 before the police anti-kidnappers squad arrested my wife, my Pastor Sam Ezenagu before I was arrested." The pastor was arrested by police detectives on April 13 at No 42 Odudukoko street, Gariki Awku-nanaw, Enugu State. Mr. Mohammed Adamu, the state Commissioner of Police confirmed the arrest to Saturday Sun, adding that the Pastor and his younger brother, Tobias Aniude use facebook to promise innocent women marriage and eventually dupe them. My Opinion: the cash was freely given, and was freely taken! So...

Resident Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission for Edo state, Mike Igini has foiled electoral fraud perpetrated by a group of officials of INEC in Oru East local government area during today’s supplementary election in Imo state. Mr. Igini who was in the company of top police officers including the Assistant Inspector General of Police and the Imo state police commissioner came upon INEC officials who were engaging in massive thumbprinting of ballot papers for the People's Democratic Party. Mr. Igini immediately interrogated the staff and his crew and ordered their immediate arrest. The arrested persons 15 in number were carrying out their dastardly act near the home of Peoples Democratic Party senator Hope Uzodinma. The only female member of the rigging crew claimed to be the sister of the Senator. The rigging was taking place near his country home. The arrested person have been moved to the state capital in Owerri for further interrogation. |
In Imo state, Ihedioha of the PDP has conceded defeat to Owelle Rochas' APC. Rigging is almost impossible for PDP. ******************************************** The police this afternoon uncovered massive thumb-printing of Ballot papers in Oru East LGA-the country home of PDP senator elect Chief Hope Uzodimma. This has put a clog in the wheel of their planned rigging actions. Rochas all the way. |
