Politics / Re: Election Tribunal: Why LP, PDP Shouldn’t Panic Over Inec’s Objections – Effiong by eeetuk(m): 7:50pm On Jun 02, 2023
"A legal practitioner and social critic, Inibehe Effiong has urged people not to panic over objections to admissibility of documents by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, at the ongoing hearings at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, saying it is a distraction."

Waste of time ! Nigeria has the most corrupt court in the world. Check Nigeria history and ask yourself this question: when has the presidential election result been overturned? If your answer is never, then, why continue the foolish litigation?

The way to win a court case against Bola Tinubu election is to move the case to UK. In the UK, the court looks at the fact , not my tribe or your tribe , period.

Nigeria U20 team got a bad draw in their knockout rounds. The eagle will play the host country, Argentina today, May 31, 2023. Playing a host country in their land is a big deal. Why? History shows that a weaker team often beat stronger team at home. Sports illustrated did a study of nations which have hosted world cup at home and won their games. These include but not limited to Uruguay (1930), Italy (1934), England (1966), Germany (1974), Argentina (1978), France (1998) and much more.

In addition to above countries which have benefited as host nations, other factors have emerged. These include crow involvement, familiarity with playing venues, and weather factor.

After Nigeria recorded an opening victory against Dominican Republic, I held down my excitement. But when Nigeria beat highly rated Italy in their second game by 2 goals to nil, my hope of Nigeria playing at 2023 U20 worldcup game final went through the roof. Today my hope has tampered down a little bit. It is Argentina at home against the country they hate most, Nigeria. Call it a World War 3.

I cannot criticize Nigeria before their match against Argentina because it will be unfair. And i urge fans not to do so as well.

" He said: “May I announce that effective immediately and until further notice, all government bank accounts in all banks are hereby frozen. A ‘Post No Debit’ instruction shall remain in force until all signatories are changed. Any bank that violates this instruction does so at its own risk.”

Dictator, whether those in the military uniforms or civilian have one thing in common : they make threat when they assume power . Governor Allia understands that better than anyone else. Not that this threat is meaningful, but it gives these power hungry Governors an opportunity to get attention they don't deserve .

We will revisit Governor Allia a year from now to talk about how much of Benue State money he has pocketed.
And we will see how this threatening message ends.

" Outgone Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, in the early hours of Monday May 29, ordered the police to seal off an hotel and a bar in the Elekahia axis of Port Harcourt"

Nyesom Wike is a mad man! He can't separate himself from anger. His angry behavior began 8 years ago--- the first day he became governor against Rotimi Amaehi and it has never left him . In 2019 president buhari few in foreign oil workers from Akwa ibom state to a hotel in Rivers state , Wike sent 100 police officers to remove those oils workers from the hotel . When former VP Atiku Abubakar refused to pick him as his running mate, he had been in in flame since then. Not a single day go by without Wike doing something so stupid to display anger . I have read many articles in social media platforms suggesting Bola Tinubu might select Wike as one of his ministers. Oh, really? If that happens, Bola Tinubu should start moving around inside army tanks. Don't play with Nyesom Wike. He is a mad man!

A low level personnel sent by Biden administration to represent the United States in Tinubu inauguration shows lack of interest in Tinubu’s government. Tinubu is a convicted drug dealer in an American soil. The record from Tinubu drug conviction shows he paid a total of $465,000. The conviction took place in the city of Chicago, state of Illinois, USA.
Is that the record of a leader or thug?

" According to Obi, only the court of law will decide the actual winner of the poll in due course."

Peter Obi is still living in his falsehood. Result of presidential election in Nigeria shows Peter Obi has no chance of winning that election. He knows it. And for him to think that the court will decide winner of February 25,2023 presidential election in his favor begs one question: which planet is Peter Obi living?

Furthermore, I pray that Atiku Abubakar will distance himself from Peter Obi. Peter Obi is selfish. In 2019, Atiku Abubakar picked Peter Obi as his running mate and lost. In 2023 when Peter Obi found out he was not going to be offered VP position, he retaliated by switching party to counter Atiku Abubakar possible victory.

Now, Mr Peter Obi, please, stop your your falsehood claim. You will never be president of Nigeria, period.

It is half time! Nigeria still has time to make up. By this result, Nigeria now moved to third in their group stage match. However, Nigeria will still qualify for the second round even if this result stands. FIFA has rules in place to make sure that a team with two victories in the group stage advanced to knockout rounds . I still hope Nigeria performs better in the second match

U20 Worldcup In 2023 Nigeria VS Brazil
By eeetuk
Nigeria U20 worldcup team in 2023 tournament has skilled players to put Nigeria in the map of worldcup winners. I just look at the list of teams which have won U20 men worldcup championship----created in 1977, and only Ghana in the content of Africa has won the cup. Yes, Ghana won it in 2009. However, after watching Nigeria beat Italy in their group stage, I am upbeat about where Nigeria is today than before the tournament began.
Why?
After many Years of failures, Nigeria coach finally understands how to fill players based on job skills. In the past, your ethnicity was a requirement. Below is the list of Nigerian players and their skills listed in front of their names. In the game between Nigeria and Italy, Nigeria defense was outstanding. Midfielders were supped and the goal keeper was first in the class.

Today may 27, 2023—is the final group game between Nigeria and Brazil. Win or lose, Nigeria is certain to advance to knockout rounds. But I hope Nigeria team does not step their feet on the brake—allowing the Brazilian to beat Nigeria. Victory is confidence. If Nigeria beats Brazil to advance to the knock out rounds, their confidence will be higher in their knock out rounds.

So, if I was advising the Nigerian coach before going to match against Brazil, I would urge him to fill in all the starters against the Brazilian side. You do not want to go to the knockout rounds feeling down. You want to go to knockdown rounds feeling upbeat.

Hello Nigerians, are you feeling upbeat about Nigeria chances like me?
Go Eagles!

As you might already know, U20 2023 worldcup soccer began in Indonesia on May 20 2023 featuring 24 qualifying nations. Africa is represented by 4 nations, Tunisia , Senegal, Gambia and Nigeria. Talking about Nigeria, Nigeria won its first game against Dominican Republic 2-1. Today Nigeria will play its second game against Italy beginning at 7 pm, Nigeria time. A victory against the Italian will automatically advance Nigeria to the second round. But believe me, having watched Italy beat Brazil in their first game, the game between Nigeria and Italy not going to be easy. Right now, I pray for a draw so that Nigeria can walk out with a point. That is because after Italy game, the next game for Nigeria is Brazil. Brazil having lost to Italy in their opening game is going to do death or die in their last match against Nigeria .

Game begins today at 7pm Nigeria time from Indonesia.
If you are living in US, you can watch the game live at FOX SPORTS WORLD .Game begins at 2pm. Fox Channel 2

Nigeria 2 Italy 0

By this result, Nigeria now advanced to knock out rounds.

The fix is in! I told you guys that the so-called Supreme court judges have already determined to award the presidency of Nigeria to Tinubu. One evidence is issuing judgement three days before the inauguration of Bola Tinubu and Alhaji shetima. They did this to prevent anybody from stopping a moving train. You cannot change the mind set of criminals. You have a convicted drug dealer, named Bola Tinubu representing Nigeria. So, shameful! I never in my lifetime thought Nigeria will turn into this kind of route.

Nigeria has no functional government is no longer an opinion, it is a fact. Nothing of this sort will happen under a functional government. Education matters. Election of an illiterate president, Mohammad Buhari in 2019 to rule Nigeria is the root cause of all the bad things taking place in Nigeria today. He filled key cabinet posts in his government with the most incompetent people on earth. Who is Nigeria minister of Justice ? who is Nigeria inspector general of police? who is the chairman of Efcc? who is in charge of home land security in Nigeria?

The answers to above questions will tell you everything you want to know about president Buhari and how he has managed the affairs of Nigeria.

Food / Re: Over 70% Nigerian Foods Rejected Abroad - NAFDAC by eeetuk(m): 6:22pm On May 21, 2023
"She, however, noted that the agency is responding to the challenge by collaborating with the agencies at the Ports by ensuring that goods meet the regulatory requirements of the importing countries and destinations."

What are these regulatory requirements for exports and imports? Are these regulatory requirements being made available to Nigerian farmers to follow before shipping their farm products to overseas?

Listen, you want to retaliate against countries that reject Nigerian good, but you cannot succeed unless Nigerian farmers package their farm products to meet the international requirement. So, what is the Nigeria NAFDAC position on 70% rejection of food made in Nigeria?

I want Nigeria NAFDAC to say (1) Nigerian farmers have met regulatory requirements for exporting farm products overseas and US and EU still refuse to accept Nigeria food. (2) whether US and EU have refused to acknowledge regulatory requirements met by Nigerian farmers. But so far Nigeria NAFDAC has not been to say, publicly, what part of regulatory requirements Nigerian farmers have failed to meet--leading to 70% rejection of Nigerian foods by US and EU.

To Nigeria NAFDAC, be honest with the Nigerian public about what part of regulatory requirements Nigerian farmers have met and which part they have not met. That way Nigerian public can reject foods from countries that reject Nigerian foods as well. Nigeria cannot be a dumping ground for overseas food, period. IF other countries reject Nigerian foods, Nigerian should reject other countries foods as well.

The most prestigious youth national-team tournament in men's football is taking place as the 2023 FIFA Under-20 World Cup is held in Argentina between May 20 and June 11.
The biennial tournament was last held in 2019 since the 2021 edition was cancelled due to scheduling and logistical challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2023 U20 World Cup was originally set to be held in Indonesia, but that nation's refusal to welcome Israel's squad — the countries don't have diplomatic relations — saw FIFA strip the tournament from Indonesia in March 2023 and instead move it to Argentina.
France, Brazil, Italy, and England are among the favorites to win the 2023 edition. Argentina, who had originally failed to qualify from South America, were slotted in as the new host nation and will surely contend on home soil.
Defending champions Ukraine failed to qualify for the 2023 tournament, falling at the second stage of European qualifying on a cards tiebreaker.

The participating nations hail from Asia (4 spots), Africa (4), North America (4), South America (4), Oceania (2), and Europe (5) with Argentina participating as the host nation.
The 24 countries were divided into groups A-F via a group-stage draw held on April 21, 2023. The top two teams in each group, along with the four best third-place finishers will advance to the Round of 16.

Politics / Re: Give Me Seven Weeks To Produce Witnesses, Obi Tells Tribunal by eeetuk(m): 1:45pm On May 21, 2023
"The Labour Party has said it will be calling 50 witnesses to testify against the victory of the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, and will need seven weeks to get this done."

Peter Obi is an incompetent leader!
Listen, Peter Obi will need 7 weeks to produce witnesses! Is this man serious? I thought he has witnesses before appealing his case. How can you not be ashamed of this guy? It is like shouting fire without smoke. So, Peter Obi is in election tribunal for what? Failure to transmit votes is not a reason to appeal a case for two reasons. First, over 18 candidates ran for election and all of them have their votes misplaced. Second, No court in the world can prove that votes were not transmitted. I have examples 20 of these cases around the world where democracy is practiced, and no court has ever awarded someone a case because of failure to transmit votes. So, my honest advice to Peter Obi is to withdraw your fraudulent case. You are wasting your time. Atiku Abubakar has a greater chance to win appeal in the tribunal than any Obi. Why? INEC declared Bola Tinubu winner of election without fulfilling the constitutional requirement. That is the ground for appeal, in my opinion. Okay?

Politics / Re: Matawalle: Bawa Requested $2 Million From Me, I Have Witnesses by eeetuk(m): 8:57pm On May 19, 2023
“All the allegations against me are blatant lies. He requested a $2 million bribe from me and I refused him, I have my witnesses."

Governor Metawalle has witnesses who will testify that Efcc chairman, Mr. Bawa asked him for bribe--estimated to be $2 million.
WoW! I believe Gov. Metawalle, 100%!
Where is Nigeria attorney general and minister of Justice? He is the one who is supposed to appoint prosecutor to investigate this kind of claim. What kind of a country is Nigeria? It is like no one is in charge! I mean Gov. Metawalle claim is a serious allegation that deserves quick investigation. Gov. Metawalle took the oak to tell the truth before he became a governor---so, you cannot doubt a person like him.

Who is a journalist in this forum? Let send a copy of Gov. Metawalle claim to Attorney general and minister of justice and ask the AG what is taking him so long to appoint a prosecutor to investigate Efcc chairman, Mr. Bawa. If Nigeria is to defeat corruption, Governor Metawalle claim is the stepping stone.
Again, where is Nigeria Attorney General and minster of Justice?

Politics / Re: There’s No Human Being Who Is 100% Clean, EFCC Chair Replies Matawalle by eeetuk(m): 6:51pm On May 19, 2023
“There is no human being who is 100% clean, I read somewhere he (Matawalle) asked us to extend our investigation to ministers. We carry out our investigations thoroughly and if Governor Matawalle has knowledge of any minister or governor involved in corrupt practices, he should report it to the appropriate authorities."

Statement above is admission of his own corruption by Efcc Chairman, Bawa. I do not know how anybody can say everybody is corrupt except himself and still sit as efcc chairman. I wish Nigeria is democratic nation--a nation where people cast votes to elect their leaders and their votes count. That would have prevented someone like Buhari from appointing Bawa. Bawa is corrupt. Akpabio, former Abia state governor, Kanu and all others are corrupt, yet, working free. so, i write to call on Mr. Bawa to resign, ASAP.

Politics / Re: Peter Obi, Abure & Apapa In Court Today (Photos, Video) by eeetuk(m): 2:07pm On May 19, 2023
Peter Obi is a loser. He has no business getting ahead of Atiku Abubakar in the appeal process. He came third in the general election results. Atiku Abubakar was second---raising questions about Peter Obi motive in his court appearance. The 1999 constitution of Nigeria is very clear on what should happen if no winner has emerged after votes count in the election. For the purposes of those who might not have read the constitution on the event no winner after votes count in the election, it states that where no winner has emerged, the top two votes getters, shall be selected for runoff election.

Peter obi ought to have read the 1999 constitution to know his rights under the law. He is not going to win this appeal process. The rationale for his appeal is dumb founded, if not, pure stupidity. He needs to withdraw his case, ASAP.

Politics / Re: Livy Uzoukwu: What Is INEC Hiding? Obi's Lead Counsel Asks (Video) by eeetuk(m): 12:26am On May 18, 2023
Peter Obi continues court action over February 25, 2023 presidential election results is hurting Atiku Abubakar chances of winning runoff election in the tribunal court. The tribunal court is worrying, i would imagine, ruling for Atiku Abubakar and Bola Tinubu to start preparing for runoff election could get Ibo boys to engage in violence act. He (peter obi) came third in the presidential race----eliminating his chance to be on the runoff election. And here is what i hope someone in the southeast geopolitical should do: tell peter Obi that he would never be president of Nigeria. He once took arms against Nigeria--i am talking about the biafran war and lost. Now, he wants to be the president of Nigeria? Oh, please!
Forget, it is not happening!
Crime / Re: White House confirms Attack In Anambra: No US Citizens Were Involved Or Hurt by eeetuk(m): 1:51am On May 17, 2023
killing in Anambra state of US Ambassy Staff is the work of Islamic state terroir group aimed at dividing those supporting US business investment in Nigeria and opposition. It worked in Afghanistan--leading to the US withdrawal . But i do not think it will work in Nigeria. Why? First, US investment in Nigeria is mostly handled by locals---mainly Nigerians. In Afghanistan, US citizens were deeply involved in daily running of businesses. Second, US citizens are white and Nigerians are black---making it difficult for terror group to penetrate and achieve a high degree of success. And third, emergence of new technologies has reduced a high degree of human contacts in the execution of business activities. For example, training which used to be carried out many years through human contacts are today done with the use of technologies such as email, teleconferencing, video conferencing and much more. This helps to reduce harms caused by terror groups. My advice to the US government is to continue to invest in Nigeria and not get bullied by terrorism . Bottom line is terrorists are losers!

Politics / Re: Nigeria’s Constitution Must Be Followed To The Letter - Datti Baba-ahmed by eeetuk(m): 12:32pm On May 16, 2023
Datti, who spoke on Monday at a conference organised by the Coalition of Nigerians living in the United Kingdom with theme; “Nigeria on Trial: Does Democracy Matter”? which took place in London on Monday, said democracy must be practised to the letter and that without adherenc to the constitution, there would be no democracy.

Amen! The constitution of Nigeria states that for a person to become the president of Nigeria, he or she must (1) win popular votes, (B) win 24 out of Nigeria 36 states and (3) has no less than 25% votes in the Nigerian capital, Abuja. Now, the record shows that Bola Tinubu only got 19 % votes in Abuja on the election. The constitution goes on to state that where no candidate has achieved the above requirement, the two top candidates must do runoff to decide the elected president. So far, Mr. Datti has not called for runoff between Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar.

And here is section 134 of the 1999 of Nigerian on how to decide who has been duly elected president of Nigeria:
134

1. A candidate for an election to the office of President shall be deemed to
have been duly elected, where, there being only two candidates for the
electiona. he has the majority of votes cast at the election; and
b. he has not less than one-quarter of the votes cast at the election in
each of at least two-thirds of all the States in the Federation and
the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Now, i want to know what Datti is planning to do if the election tribunal says that Tinubu won the presidency?
Politics / Re: US Imposes Visa Restrictions On Nigerians Who Disrupted 2023 Election by eeetuk(m): 4:35pm On May 15, 2023
"Today, I am announcing that we have taken steps to impose visa restrictions on specific individuals in Nigeria for undermining the democratic process during Nigeria’s 2023 elections cycle. These actions are specific to certain individuals and are not directed at the Nigerian people or the Government of Nigeria as a whole."

Was governor Wike included in the list of those on visa ban?
Wike was the leader of those who led the efforts in disrupting smooth transition to vote. He gamed the system. I think it would be unfair to ban other Nigerians and leave Wike out. He is a madman!
